Adam got released on bail, immediately gets caught committing more crimes including blatant witness tempering and intimidation,... gets released on bail again. What a great system!
The Hell's Angels used their clubhouse as collateral to bail him out and, when he was arrested for the murders, he offered to wear a wire and report on the people in Hell's Angels but the police thought he was too unpredictable and a liability, so they declined.
It's unfortunate when people on bail commit additional violent crimes but they're the minority. Most people who are released before trial shouldn't be locked up at all. After all, why should they be made to serve their (potential) sentence before they're found guilty? Many people are found not guilty after spending months/years in jail. That's not justice.
This makes me so sad to my core. These men didn't deserve this at all, over some scrap metal??? I wish more was done to protect David. He did a brave thing reporting his assault and he should've been protected 🥺
That utter piece of crap should never have been let out on bail! I agree with a previous commenter that the law enforcement and the legal system in that county actually feared that creep. That's why he got away with a tremendous amount of crimes. How do they sleep at night?
@@joanodom2104 I agree with you 100%. He should've never been released on bond, he has shown he's capable of extreme violence and that he stops at nothing. It's a deeply upsetting case
The fact people think it was only over a piece of scrap metal is very insane. I don’t have facts but I’d assume there was more to this. Doesn’t make it ok… but can we all agree it’s likely NOT begun by theft of only scrap metal???
Indeed these sad stories don’t leave me when the video ends they stay with me, and I feel so sad and hurt for the victims, it haunting and tremendous sorrow.
I was gonna say the same. A lot of social workers don't give a shit about their jobs, sadly enough. I get that a lot of them are burned out, but it's really a job you have to enter into if you really have the heart. They seriously don't get paid anywhere near what they should be getting. They get below minimum wage in many states in the US. Sad.
@@yeahgirl11 for the record, it takes A Lot of privilege to complete social work credentials - the ones who burn out on the job simply weren't pushed to their limit until _after_ becoming established in the field. it takes privilege to be able to balance research & academics with a LOT of mandatory unpaid field hours. i was horrified when i transferred out of SW studies into social science & saw how much more diverse my class rosters became.

That’s one of the most horrible and sad cases I’ve ever heard of. By the time you got to the end I had forgotten that this all started over used metal. To think of these three vulnerable quiet souls being led into the forest at night during a violent storm and all the horror that awaited them. What hit me the most though was the fact that David and Edward’s families never wanted them. Their loss. I’m so glad that these three men were so liked and accepted in their community. Thanks Adrian. Appreciate your channel ❤️
Thanks Adrian for telling us about the lives of these three wonderful men that the world had lost… I feel extremely sad knowing their last moments in life were painful May David, Edward and Robert rest in peace🙏🏻
Giving his weirdness and evil mind. I really don't believe he had anything to do with those 3 Men. I hate to say it but I call it as I see it and feel it. Anyway what a terrible thing and I pray for the soul's that even thought this awful crime. God Bless 🙏
This case makes me both angry and sad. If only the authorities had listened to David's fear, these 3 men would be alive. I'm so sad that David had to deal with this alone and then watch his friends be tortured and killed. The world is less with the loss of these wonderful people.
True..If David Capeless had protected him by putting him in the Witness protection he and the others would be alive. He was heavily criticized for not doing it by those of us who live where this happened.
There should have also been a hate crime component with the sentencing too. There was evidence of the disgusting slurs being said, I hate to think of the last words those honourable men had to endure on top of the pain of their last moments. - Something I don't fully understand though? Why wasn't he given protection? He was already vulnerable. He had already been beaten. He had already been fitted up for a serious crime. Due to the negligence of so called professionals, they gave opportunity for a bullying low life to torture and kill 3 innocent men.
Honestly the WPP isn't a 100% guarantee of safety. The HA are everywhere. I know this is going to be really unpopular but despite how much it sucked to get beat up and give up his truck, you never ever go up against any member, especially not a high-ranking member of ANY established MC or street gang. To them once a snitch, you are practically signing your own death warrant. This case was horrible because his innocence caused him to take terrible advice on the part of his social worker who I know was just doing her job but clearly lacks in street smarts. I say this not blaming him at all - I don't victim-blame, I merely strongly question the advice he was given. If he had someone in his corner who counseled him to just put his head down, never go back to Adam's house for any work, and cut his losses, three men would still be alive today. I just wish he had someone with street smarts who could have looked out for him that bothers me so much.
@9teen9tee4 your opinion is going to be unpopular because it is brain-dead. Simple as that. You're arguing that the witness protection isn't 100% guarantee of safety but somehow you argue letting them go and saying nothing is? When they've already beaten and threatened the victim? Like I say, brain dead. We all know who is at fault here. Not the victims. Not the social worker. The authorities can shoulder some blame for letting the guy go out on bail because he paid $50k and then $250k. Apparently they thought the money was worth more than risking people's lives. Partial responsibility definitely lies there. Then there's the 3 pathetic evil criminals who took the lives of 3 innocent men. They are all to blame. I say again; Not the victims. Not the social worker. Please take a long look at yourself and think about how dumb your take is. It's not 'unpopular'. It's just stupid.
@@rainwing777 except coming together is completely realistic, as I've said el Salvadors government have started arresting MI5 gangs and clearing up the community, the fact you think stuff like that is fictional is deeply defeatist on your part.
I just want to say what amazing men David and Edward are. I know many people without disabilities who are less successful. It breaks my heart to think of 3 good friends excited for a wholesome, innocent activity of hanging out watching a storm to end up in the hands of true monsters. They deserved so much better, rest in peace you gentle souls.
I can’t help but feel that as David was a witness and vulnerable that more should have been done to protect him. He was frightened so was aware that his safety was at compromised.
In my extensive experience, law enforcement doesn't give a crap about the mentally ill or the disabled. When my schizophrenic sister walked away from her group home, I was told TO MY FACE that they "didn't have the time to chase after every 'crazy' that goes missing." She was later murdered by criminals who held her captive and stole her $1300 per month disability checks for six months.
@@joanodom2104 That's horrible. I am so sorry. When they take that oath to protect and serve, it means to protect everyone! Many of them could really care less about any of us and became cops for the wrong reasons. It's really sad and unfortunate.
The victims seemed like kind-hearted, sweet men. They didn't deserve the terrible end they suffered (not that any victim ever does). Adam Hall is a toddler-faced loser rat.
As the mother of a special needs child who will always live at home with us, it breaks my heart to hear about this case. Our society still so often casts out or turns a blind eye to our developmentally and physically disabled fellow citizens.
If what you say is accurate, then how do you explain the thousands of adult residential treatment facities and group homes that exist all over the country!? Just because you're ignorant to the fact doesn't make it true when you make a ridiculous claim with zero substantiation! Just because advocates don't come knocking at your door to offer services does not mean they don't exist... if you don't ask for help, then you'll never receive it. Its like people who don't play the lottery constantly saying "i wish i could win the lottery"... if you don't play, you'll never win!
I understand 100% Also a mother of a special needs child who will always be with us ♥️ This case broke my heart. Society still and has always thrown away what they don't want. I have always said I feel like it's one of our biggest tests from God.
My son will likely always live with us as well. As awful as this story is…I’m glad this story was ended with such a touching tribute to these three beautiful souls. Which is what I’ve come to expect from Adrian! ❤
My son just turned 19. When people ask me why I'm not making arrangements to get him into some sort of facility or group home, this is why. The only thing standing between him and the cruelties of the world is a mother's love. And he can only get that at home, with us.
As special needs person myself. I live with my mom and step dad. But once they are dead sadly. I won't have anyone. Lot of people don't know the stress. Stress on both child and parent. I will stuck on group home in few years. I am scared as heck.
I don't often find tears running down my face when a youtube video is over, but hearing Adrian describe the lives of David Edward and Robert and how kind they were is what eventually moved me to tears. Cheers boys, they won't be able to do harm to anyone else...
Why was Adam EVER allowed to bond out of jail?? He was arrested twice for intimidating the same man, as well as assaulting him and trying to frame him for a serious crime, and yet both times a relatively low bond was set...low for someone like Adam, who had friends that would do him favours. And despite the crimes he was charged with, no police protection was ever offered to David, despite them knowing that he was in danger from Adam. Edit: And Caius Veiovis?? Cool. 😕
Agree. It seems like the judge was either intimidated from the Hells Angels himself, completely out of his element with this kind of crime, or a wet noodle that was ineffective. And also the issue with police protection; it isn't about liberals or conservatives. It seems that too many police departments have inadequate training on human behavior and cannot grasp true danger and threats. That in and of itself is scary. They shoot people who aren't a threat, and allow people in danger to be killed.
Can someone please explain why this terrified, anxious and paranoid disabled man did not receive any police witness protection? It seems he was disregarded all over the place poor thing.
The simple answer is the legal system requires "credible" threat or evidence that you or your families life is danger... unfortunately hearsay is no longer considered credible due to the constant abuse of those types of allowances or protections by the law. For example, here in PA you cannot obtain a PFA (protection from abuse) or restraining order without being married or related to the offending party or having a history of assaults on police record... this is because too many stupid people abused the process for stupid reasons or outright lied about infractions to simply get someone to leave them alone or outright slander someones good name as revenge for a slight, imagined or not. These things cost money and time, that if not properly vetted, can easily be wasted and denied from someone who truly needs some kind of police protection. So try not being so damn insufferable, not everything is law enforcements fault... i bet you truly believe in the term "those less dead"... dontcha'!
I think you answered your own question. "Terrified, anxious and paranoid disabled man" The police judged a human based on that exact description instead of thinking of him as a hard working, thoughtful and kind individual. They saw all the negatives and without thinking dismissed his fears as "crazy ramblings" or worse yet may have believed his fears where justified but did not think him worthy or protection.
@@mikejones6791 You started out well with you comment but your last sentence is completely uncalled for rubbish. Which makes your comment completely null and void.
Another example of the justice system FAILING the victims, time and time again. They only protected them when it was too late. Now three innocent people are dead. Disgusting how our justice system is, it’s a joke.
What a sad and heartbreaking story, I feel so sorry for David, Edward and Robert and I hope they can rest in peace 😢 Thanks, Adrian, for telling it with so much empathy and respect for the victims (as always). ❤
Thank you. same here. All this started over scrap metal, FGS. I have to fight thoughts about where I would insert incandescent rods if I had some say in this, but regardless there is no way to bring those three worthy and innocent men back to life. David should have been provided with official help and protection to honour his courage. Instead of this he and his companions were let down and had to suffer fear, unspeakable torment and at last a horrible death. This should never have been possible, and hopefully it will never happen again. It fills me with despair that the three friends could not modestly enjoy their self-established and well-earned "good lives" in this calm rural area without harrassment. Thankfully Adrian held much back regarding the friends' ordeal. At least one can hope that they have now found peace. Regarding the despicable murderers (opinion: I am convinced of their guilt) I am torn as to which punishment - if any - is adequate to atone for their crimes. The death penalty (if it were available) would be over too quickly, but life sentences in prison pose IMHO no real threat for such specimens, because with the protective HA in the background their lifes could possibly become even better than on the outside. >[Only by writing all this I was gradually able to stop crying. All my opinion. Even if nobody reads this, I had to get this off my chest. This case will haunt me for a long time, but the friends must not be forgotten.]< Even if this makes me a terrible person: Constant pain without the prospect of relief would be MY idea of a personalized way to make the perpetrators acutely aware of every passing minute for the rest of their lives. There are many painful and debilitating, yet slowly progredient health conditions, like e.g. inflammations of scars, sensitivity to foreign materials (piercings!), diverse types of cancer, or painful degradation of parts of the musculo-sceletal system. Nearly every aging body develops one or more of those afflictions sooner or later, which as often as not can be treated. In my opinion (and experience) it is very difficult to live with the conditions, if the according therapies over time lose their efficiency, or if the patient can not tolerate the specific treatment. Punishment should ideally educate and show perpetrators the error of their ways, so I wish on them to maker the constant and irredeemable experience of a fraction of the pain and suffering that they inflicted on three innocent men.
I relate hard to the storm watchers. My mother chased tornadoes before marrying my father, and both have meteorology degrees. Plus living in the Midwest, where storm watching is a common past time. This case breaks my heart in the same way the Yuba City Five does. Somehow it feels incredibly sad when someone with mental problems (deficiencies or illnesses) is targeted for violent crime. For the most part, they mean no harm. And they feel particularly vulnerable. Caius cultivated that demonic look; he WANTED to intimidate people. He shot himself in the foot there. And Adam is just a f**king monster and deserves the full weight of everything he's going to go through in prison and in Hell.
Caius was also stupid in that he didn't realize that trying so hard to intimidate other people,he was making it obvious that he was terrified and insecure himself.
@@Ariadne76-k3d Exactly. He doesn't even look scary. He looks worse than a deformed clown. People who are actually tough usually don't need to advertise that they are lol
Yeah, at first I thought I was “desensitized” due to hanging around alt and body modification circles - wonderful community btw, some of the nicest and most creative and fun people to hang around - but not, whatever is going on there is simply ridiculous. His deeds are what prevent me calling him “laughable”, that’s what makes a monster out of him. On that subject, I have to say how Adam is 100x more disturbing than Caius. And on looks alone, he appears as normal as it gets. But it wasn’t already enough to abuse a vulnerable and peaceful guy who’s down on his luck selling scrap metal just “because you can” (I don’t think for a second he believed that he was robbed, he just used as a pretext, because people like him gets a kick out of doing what he did) to take things to the extreme that he took is a truly remarkable shown of how much of a Grade A vermin he is. I hope his pitiful bargain with the feds is widespread and that he’s receiving the delux treatment snitches get. To conclude: And I cannot be the only one to arrive at this thought; How nightmarish is that that was definitely not the first time they disposed of remains in this manner. No shot.

I don't often cry at cases because I'm focused on the logistics and twists, but this one genuinely put tears in my eyes. The victims had a rough and uneasy lives and an horrible end. I hope they can rest in peace somehow. Most of the time people who have mental issues are seen to be strange, dangerous and scary but it’s not often the case. Most of them just have difficulties socializing with others and expressing themselves. I have come across quite a few and they all have left a mark in me. Ps, glad Adrian mentioned about diabetes and being drunk because as a cabin crew one of the knowledges I have learned is that people with diabetes can often smell like they have been drinking.
@@WyattRyeSway I would say because they don't know that their suffering will simply just end right then and there. And/or more likely, they think a life sentence may give them a second chance or that they might prefer to live because survival instinct really does prefer to not die. Heartbreaking and lovely take on an especially sad and outrageous crime. I had heard this story on the Small Town Murder podcast-two comedians talk about true crime and make fun of everything *except* victims and their families-and they were so outraged by the cruelty of these losers that they cracked on them constantly. Sad.

That’s one of the most horrible and sad cases I’ve ever heard of. By the time you got to the end I had forgotten that this all started over used metal. To think of these three vulnerable quiet souls being led into the forest at night during a violent storm and all the horror that awaited them. @@CoffeehouseCrime Joker: do you want to know how i got these scars?
@Coffeehouse Crime don't forget vampire dude or what's-his-face
I say again;
Not the victims.
Not the social worker.
Please take a long look at yourself and think about how dumb your take is.
It's not 'unpopular'. It's just stupid.
To be fair, we don't know that. A witness claimed that, but we don't know the details. It's beyond sad.
As the former neighbor of Edward, this is so insane to see coverage. I was a tween when it happened but I remember all three of the victims. Rip

My son just turned 19. When people ask me why I'm not making arrangements to get him into some sort of facility or group home, this is why. The only thing standing between him and the cruelties of the world is a mother's love. And he can only get that at home, with us.

Pittsfield from personal experience has shit police. My mom had to have something happen to her to actually get a restraining order for my neighbor.
Another example of the justice system FAILING the victims, time and time again. They only protected them when it was too late. Now three innocent people are dead. Disgusting how our justice system is, it’s a joke.

Thank you.
This case will haunt me for a long time, but the friends must not be forgotten.]<
Even if this makes me a terrible person: Constant pain without the prospect of relief would be MY idea of a personalized way to make the perpetrators acutely aware of every passing minute for the rest of their lives.
I tend to think Adam made himself the Alpha in jail.
Sometimes I wish I believed Hell was a real place for ppl like this.
No shot.

I never cry when watching your videos but this one hit home. I grew up near this area and, yes, it is run down. Jobs are scarce, hope is low, the police are skint, and drugs/ gangs become the new “family “. I left as soon as I could, unfortunately, not many do or can. Such a horrible story. Such a waste of lovely people.
I remember this case. Hard to forget that bizarre looking face. Love Nero sleeping in the background, his ears twitching from time to time, so cute!
Love you so much Adrian!!! Thank you for always being so respectful and kind to the victims. This case is so sad and those poor men never deserved this. 😭
This case is another reminder that some people are literally looking for ''reasons'' to wreak havoc and show their evil side to the world. Not only are they actively looking for them, but they're often the ones creating the opportunities in the first place.
THIS ^^
R.I P Robert, David and Edward. Such a grizzly demise.
It didn’t diminish the tragedy of what happened to these men; it was just satisfying to hear two professional comedians insult the a*sholes who committed these horrific acts.
This was a lovely tribute, though. Adrian’s empathy and dry humor is what keeps me coming back.
You have become my favourite crime narrator! I'll tell you why: You actually do crimes that aren't heard of before. Even if it's based in the world's most known countries. I take my cap off to you, Coffeehouse Crime! Thank you for spending hours upon hours (I am guessing) to narrate, research, and deliver such interesting crimes!
Very sad. RIP David. Poor man didn’t deserve this.
None of the three victims have to die 😢
Nearly teared up
I have to say, your pronunciation for Worcester was spot on! Watching people not from the area try to say some of the town and city names are hilarious! Well done, Adrian!
That's bc he's British and worcester is a British name.
Funny! an American congratulates a Brit on pronouncing English words. 😂😂😂
He's actually from Texas. Moved to the UK when he was 9 I think? Either way, words are pronounced differently in different places. I wasn't harping on him, I was saying well done. American English can be very different from British English...Hope you all have a wonderful day!
I was gonna leave a comment complimenting him on it as well. It's close to my hometown, so it was surreal hearing him say it 😄
Keep up the good work!!! And much love from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 (maybe 1 day a case location)
Fellow Dutchy here🇳🇱🖐 . Also love to see any Dutch case covered.
Thank you, Adrian, for your work! You treat the victims stories respectfully and you tell it so detailed without trying to be extra gruesome. You make my weekends!
RIP David Glasser, Edward Frampton and Robert Chadwell
Rest in peace, Robert, Edward and David, and May God bless and comfort your loved ones.
The cat in the background just sleeping throughout this heartbreaking story 😂 !
I've watched a lot of true crime videos the past few months, and this is the first one I almost had to stop watching this one because of how upsetting it is. The three victims seemed like kind and loving people.
This case makes me tremendously sad. These poor guys already had so much stacked against them in life, and yet they seemed to be thriving, making the best of the situation, remaining kind and optimistic. Which to me is truly admirable and something which a lot of people, including myself, could learn from. And then they meet their end this way. Nothing about them even remotely made them deserve this whatsoever.
This case is so heartbreaking..David, Edward and Robert did not deserve any of this..I was tearing up at the end..Thank you for covering thos case..
May their souls rest in peace..
This case was honestly sad, I can totally relate myself to the victims.
This hit me really hard, May their souls rest in peace :/
I've been subscribed for a long time, and I never comment on these things, but I just want to say I love how dedicated you are to the coffee theme. The puns are so good 😂
Adrian, this one was spectacular!! I live in Massachusetts and you really told this story incredibly well. I always look forward to these stories. Thanks for this amazing channel. Hi to Nero 😊🌞
Yes, A heartfelt meow. 😍
I am so happy to see how much you focused on the victims and their lives and impact on the community without glorifying the killer as many true crime shows tend to. That alone has earned my subscription. Amazingly tragic tale done with love and awareness for the victims and for the world to know who they were.
I could sit and listen to you talk all day
Omg horrible and disgusting what those poor men endured. Evil monsters exist among us.
How you said the Celtics’s name had me dying 🤣.
The proper way is Kel-tic 😁 Long story short Americans adopted the soft C from the French back in the 17th century. Everywhere else in the world (and I believe even in American-English academica) it's Kel-tic. I get into all sorts of weird pronunciation issues with these videos haha
@@CoffeehouseCrime yeah I know. American English is different than European English. And for our basketball team we don’t say it the traditional way. We say it the American way. Ya know us, we have to be different 🤷🏽♂️😅.
We literally only say Seltics when referring to that one team. Otherwise we say Keltic like everyone else.
@@Dead_Braincells_Society yup.
@@LionelDressi no one knows what that is, so technically I’m correct. In order for it to be all Americans pronouncing the same word incorrectly, it needs to be shared by everyone. 🙄
"Anyway, here's a spectacular video of him throwing a tantrum in court." 😂 That was simply too good, I laughed out loud. Thanks for doing a great job with these cases Adrian, and throwing a little bit of humor in here and there!
Oh this is so heart wrenching... I loved the way you described those three guys Adrian. Thank you for being so respectful and telling their story. Those murderers should never see the light of day again :(
My friend from far far away. Much love and respect .Thank you
