Funfact : that radagon soreseal in the end actually truly maxed out your strength! Strength is the only stat that isnt capped to 99. You can't level past 99 and it won't show in the menu, but strength enhancing stuff in the game can put you to up to 150. So two handing a weapon at 99 str means you have 148 effective strength, 2 less than max. Also without 2 handing, you can get up to 129 str with strenght heirloom, strength tear, radagon soreseal godrick rune and grafted greatsword buff ! Pretty niche and useless info but still cool imo

I am just one shotting everything and wearing the heavist armor i can find.. People who say magic is easy mode have never actually played magic... Strength is easy mode
First play through was a mage, now I started a guts cosplay and yeah, I agree completely. The heavy greatsword just deleted everything so far and I'm like one third of the level as my mage was
I’ve genuinely never see anyone beat godrick without getting him to phase 2. Even if you do so much damage the DR in the phase transition is just so high that it means nothing. This is crazy lol.
i’ve always liked watching these commentary over gameplay videos and especially for elden ring i was looking for more. good that i found a good channel for that
For the Night's Calvary trick, you need to go to the opposite side that's closest to Lenne's rise and get on the ledge facing death, after smacking the wall the nights calvary should jump off
Oh hay, I've done this. Was wondering when you would get to STR only. I didn't find it too hard for the most part. Strength builds are amazing in ER. (This is me pre-video) I'm interested to see what challenges you found and how our methods differ. My biggest problem was "Giant Crusher Heavy, encumbrance value low" YEUP, you're having the same problem. BREAK OUT THE ONE SHOT UNGA-BUNGA STICK! For anybody else doing this challenge : Tip 1 : Despite meeting requirements for your weapons, DON'T get mimic tear. Low HP + melee + Mimic AI = dead mimic Tip 2 : You have so little HP, skip ritual sword and get red-feather branchsword. The extra 10% can be the difference between a one shot or death. Tip 3 : While slower charged power attack buffing gets you more single shot damage than jump attacks. If you don't mind grinding out boss openings, or you know movesets and can figure out what moves to punish, a charged R2 build can 1-2 shot most bosses (without going buff crazy) Tip 4 : BUFF! You need that protein, even the holy kind. This goes extra well with the above tip to get you into a one shot build. No, you don't need to level any other stats to get the best buffs if you're smart with equipment and consumables. This is the most try-hard tip of all time and kind of turns the game into a boring grind for stuff, so unless you are specifically doing a "one-shot only challenge" I suggest just settling with some basic buffs and be ok with 2-3 shotting everything. Tip 5 : I think it keeps the spirit of the run, so for an easier time once you hit 99 str level endurance for equip load. Tip 6 : Unless you want the extra challenge, just level vigor to 40-60 when you hit the STR soft cap of 60 (you will probably around the time you reach the plateau naturally). The extra str for weapon scaling past 60 does almost nothing. (Then you can use mimic and laugh as you two slaughter everything) FUN FACT : Leveling strength only, without zip glitches (or other major glitches), you can 1-2 shot every boss in the game. (that's 1-2 shot per phase, such as fire giants cutscene transition) This has been a message from a founding member of the Iron Temple. "See you at the Gym bros."
Just discovered your channel and this was great fun to watch - gonna give this build a try, many, many tries! Well done, subbed and belled. Cheers, Harry.
I think the problem with the crit on Fire Giant is that the Knight's resolve boosts only the next hit, and the crit consists of 2 hits, the first being a lot weaker. If the 2nd hit was also boosted, it would hit a lot harder.
This week i tried the Radagon fight with the giant crusher and raptor's myst ash of war. Found out through testing that the jump attack buffs dont apply to jumping attacks made from that ash of war... buff musy apply when you hit the jump button
I actually found that boosting charge attacks with the talisman and using that flip move more efficient and faster at stance breaks. Thanks to the unique follow up where younjust pick up the hammer and drop it without the flip. (Not sure if that requires two handing)
@@SocraTetris i just used rkr, mimic tear (for a distraction while i use the weapon), charged heavies, and a bit of luck to turn the elden beast into elden paste
