Bimmertech Apple Carplay MMI install DIY for the BMW F3X series

Hey all!
I wanted to share my latest install of a fantastic upgrade product for your F3X series of cars.
The new Bimmertech Apple Carplay MMI interface!
This will add seamless Carplay integration into your car, if you don't have that available natively. The install itself is really quite simple and similar to others I have done before, with a quick removal of the dash trim and head unit, change some cables and put it all back together! Now you will have full carplay, Siri at the touch of a button, and even Google Maps and Waze. Avoid the hassle (and expense) of annual map updates from BMW or data subscriptions and stream through your phone.
Great stuff, and thank you to Bimmer-tech.net for yet another fantastic product! This upgrade is compatible with F-series cars that have both newer and older iDrive generations (e.g. ENTRY, NBT, NBT EVO ID4, etc.).
