II am disappointed that they did not just put a proper variable optical zoom on that 4/3 CMOS Hasselblad camera up to 7x and then it can switch to digital after that. If they had done that I would buy, maybe Autel can take advantage, also deliberate problems with DJI that prevent me from further buys from them is their flight restrictions and even that forced monthly connection to relog on the RC Pro otherwise more restrictions. This nearly spoilt my trip once and probably will return to DIY drones soon and sell off DJI stuff. At them prices I don’t want the drone turning into a useless lump if I don’t log in again (not even possible in a weak signal area) or am forced to upgrade firmware with yet more restrictions that DJI is not always even upfront with.
I am searching for a drone that I can use for a jobs. I own a avata but I need another drone for making content that I can sell. My plans are real estate and such jobs. I want to decide what drone is most capable of that. Any advice? I am leaning towards the m3 pro

@@DMProductions they could do it with one micro 4/3 sensor and have a wheel with three lenses internally on a wheel, a bit like 1960’s bbc TV cameras had on the out side, using clever optics the can reduce the length of each lens and have all this internally reducing the size of what is at the moment three cameras. So that’s three lenses internal on a motorised carousel . It’s all possible but would need R and D to achieve. But doing this would interfere a bit with their marketing for more expensive drone in their line up…. Maybe one day?…🤔

At them prices I don’t want the drone turning into a useless lump if I don’t log in again (not even possible in a weak signal area) or am forced to upgrade firmware with yet more restrictions that DJI is not always even upfront with.
I wasn't happy with what DJI did. Did not show much respect (if any) to consumers.
Hi
Thank you for your content.
Really helpful.

I am searching for a drone that I can use for a jobs. I own a avata but I need another drone for making content that I can sell. My plans are real estate and such jobs. I want to decide what drone is most capable of that. Any advice? I am leaning towards the m3 pro
Can the original RCPro controller work with 3 pro,?
My son crash my Mavic 3 and it toast. Will the mavic 3 pro be compatible with the batteries and the rc pro controller? I was curious on this before just buy another one. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
hey yes all the batteries are the same size and all can be used with the rc controller click.dji.com/AOAm1lbIp2RhYz7mTiqbNA?pm=link
Im still more than happy with my mavic 3 cine! ❤
Enjoyed your video. I have the mavic 3 original.
Are the batteries universal?
I would be more excited about the new Mavic 3 pro if each camera had a micro 4/3 sensor… for now I’m sticking to my mini 3 pro and Mavic 3 classic..🤔😃👍
imagine how big the gimbal would be tho! its already huge! haha you already have a good combo
Maybe one day?…🤔
@@dogswhistlesharam9029 DJI reduces the number of moving parts as much as possible to enable it to fly in challenging conditions (-10°C etc).
I just got the mini 3 pro. But wanna go further, now I’m looking at the m3pro
Mini 3 pro - Mavic 3 pro - Avata
Hi Darren, absolutely love your channel mate and because of you im working my way through the Mavic offerings, currently on the Mavic 3 classic. my question is how complicated is it taking it to Cyprus do airlines allow it to be taken via hand luggage? wonder because of the size of the battery's. would be flying uk to pathos using jet2. hope you can help bud 😃
All drones and batteries need to go in carry on, I always take batteries out and store in lipo bag never had issue. You need to check laws in Cyprus tho some are strict on big drones
@@DMProductions Thanks mate just seen your other video about taking drones abroad, just a touch of confused because the mavic 3's have that C1 classification so do I not need a test to fly in the EU? Il keep digging, thanks for the reply Bud.
Can’t wait for my mavic 3 pro to arrive
I currently own a mavic 2 zoom and a mavic 3 classic 😁👍🏾 I still use the telelens on the zoom cause that drone is still amazing in my personal opinion 🤔👍🏾because of that I’m planning on getting getting the mavic 3 pro next year depending on future releases from DJI 🤔👍🏾 gonna start saving up from December onwards… planning on getting the mini 3 pro also for travel purposes next year 😅😁
Sounds a good master plan !
No one will answer this, but maybe you can? What is the max tilt angle up and down for the Mavic 3 pro camera?
90 down and 36 up
Not bad, thanks!
Love my classic. Hard to beat.
Great vid mate and good advice
Thanks bro
Great video and info again. Thank you
Thank you mate
The amount of money on that Table 😮
Still rocking the Mini 3 pro maybe someday I'll have enough for a big bird.
I’m just waiting for that Air 3S now.. 👀
Mavic 3 Pro absolutely 😍😍
Great review.
Very helpful for a potential buyer👌
Thank you
When did the uk change the laws to allow C1 classification from easa to apply here. I thought they walked that back and the easa C1 label means diddly shit unless you've an A2Cofc then you can have a bit more flexibility but still not as much as the C1 i Europe ? And we weren't adopting it
Could you clarify that as im now confused
Yeah if in UK just get the a2 cofc
I would love to see a 7x comparison between M3 and M3P
Do I need A2 certification for the Mavic 3 Classic?
If in the uk yes same as the pro
@@DMProductions Thank you. Yes, I am in the UK. Isn’t the Pro heavier and can’t be flown in the A1 category?
Fantastic video, thank you so much for all the info!!!
You are so welcome!
To me the price point of the Mavic 3 Pro is too high for the extra 70mm camera.
The 3x camera is prob by fav and much better now being 2.8
@@DMProductions While filming or photographing I fly at 200 feet, which means that zooming in at 3x with the 24mm on the Mavic 3 Classic is perfect. A 3x zoom on a 70mm at that distance to me is pointless. However, this is all subjective and it comes down to what type of filming the operator is into.
fantastic material. it's really detailed and useful.
Thank you! Cheers!
I was expecting to see a comparison of image quality between the telephoto lens on the M3 and M3P. Given that the main camera hasn't changed, that's the only thing I'm paying attention to to decide if the Pro is worth the money.
So this video is not really a comparison. It's just you talking about differences 😅
Just bought the M3C
Do you know if they'll add d-log m to the mavic 3 pro?
D-log m is on the pro
@@DMProductions sorry, I ment for the 166mm lens
Good advice. Thanks Darren.
thank you George
Do u want to sale mavic 3 classic...
I really need it...
This video helped me so much I signed in just to like it.
Thank you very much
@@DMProductions yeah buddy 🤙
I need the tele lense
Very helpful thank you!
Wish they made interchangeable lens even like with air 2s size. I would love to be able to pop on a thermal when looking for lost animals with shelter i volunteer with.
then the other drone will be obsolete
@@boulx need something more affordable than 5k,I don't think it would become obsolete, it would still have it's place, especially if one drone is built more for commercial vs a consumer version.
👍👍✌️. I have the Mavic 2 pro now which I love. I’m retired now so money is a factor now. Will go for the classic if and when I need to.
Great review !
Great vid. Thanx
Thank you 😊
Thank you!
You're thumbnail like a 3 frogs 😂
But it's nice 👌
man just cant decide.... at first I was like.. ok im going for Avata + mini 3 pro. Now I have the avata and its fun but looking for that 2nd option. Then I was considering Mavic 3 classic but now Im even considering step in kit for mavic 3 pro because that zoom :O.. Ffs I hate this hobby xD.
great content m8! I subscribed
haha its just like cameras, I buy one lens and then I want another one, and another ! If you can pay the difference towards the Pro compared to the Classic, having the three dedicated lenses is a huge advantage! Thanks for the sub ☺️
@@DMProductions haha I think it’s more the decision between mini 3 pro and mavic 3 pro and especially for those 2 lenses. It’s like double the price of a mini pro fly more kit.
Adding 2 cameras with relatively small sensors (shitty dynamic range one should admit it) and kick the machine into the C2 category...
Excellent video !!
Can someone please make a real review video showing their image quality differences, especially with the 166mm lens? We all know the Mavic 3 Classic has one camera, the Mavic 3 has 2 cameras and the Pro has 3 cameras 😪
Good 1 Darren
Thank you 😊
Another great video and good timing as I’ve been deciding which way to go! With either, can I buy the drone only and use it with my RC controller I have for my mini 3 pro?
Currently no Kevin
@@MysticalDragon73 is that the same for the classic?
Thank you so much 😊
Pleasure !
