@@Dirty_Dan205 I don't see why you would. It's the same casting as the V8 block, just with heads for a V6, at that point, just find a V8 block without the holes blocked off.
Cylinder Deactivation will be the death of that engine in the long run. I’d say at around 100,000 miles it will throw a rod out of the side of the engine block. Chevy and Dodge V8’s love throwing rods out of the side of the block or obliterating the inside because of cylinder deactivation. This is the same concept.
@@Peculiarsafe83 no, there's LITERALLY 2 blocked cylinders on the back V. The crankshaft has a balance pulley on the back in place of the pistons. Theres only 6 rods and pistons in the block.
Love it! Hopefully people watched the actual video and realize he did NOT PAY $9,000. That would be the price of the exhaust if he bought it from the manufacturer. He instead had Exhaust Addicts do a custom exhaust for $1500-ish.
If you payed attention the first exhaust they did was the custom one for 1500 the second one was the 9k exhaust watch it again closely broski and look at the tips both times🤦♂️
@@gageteal5568 actually you’re both wrong watch again. The first was the X pipe installation. The second was the Peastrom the link is in the description. I just added it to my cart for my F type and it was under $400. (Parts)
LOL! Maybe one of them like the front-lower to the back is OK but making an X on the door and the other random ones.....??....... just ugly as sh1t and takes away from the car!
The V6 is not the V8 “ with 2 cylinders blanked off”, wrong, it is the V8 bottom end but with a modified crank with a counter balance where the extra cylinders used to be, but has a custom 6 clinker block on top that is capped or blanked off where the other cylinders used to be. It as smooth as you can make an engine and that sound is amazing.
I was looking for mods and this video came up ... As the owner of 2 Jags with this engine, I'd have stopped at the X pipe. These things are already loud, there is absolutely no need to turn them into more of a nuisance for your neighbors. Remove the resonator put in an X pipe and hit the Dynamic mode switch. When starting the engine the valves always open for the first 20-30 seconds ... using the exhaust button or dynamic mode opens them. Also I would not recommend driving in heavy traffic or in situations where you are quickly getting to 3500RPM+ then back to idle as it will overwork the system. I rarely drive in any other mode and have had 0 issues with my exhaust system. Also, yes ... this V-6 is built on a V8 block casting with the 4A/4B (JAG) cylinders unfinished. Pop the engine cover off and take a look, and the 2 rear cylinders are there but unfinished ... and no, you can't just put a 5.0L head and pistons in it to turn it into a V8.
Fun fact: these jag v6s actually have a V8 block with the back 2 cylinders blocked off.
Thought you were lying. That’s pretty cool tho
So they’re there? Just not working and blocked off? Is it possible to get them working?

Dude had some blue Kinesiology tape and decided it might improve performance
What's up with the blue painters tape all over the car...
Same question I had. 🤷🏾♂️

Gorgeous Jaguar F type don't like blue stripes all around tho but to each their own
That Peastorm actually sounds pretty damn good and it's a 6-banger! He needs to delete like one of those blue stripes - looks weird.
I feel the same way about the stripes. To me, it looks like someone got busy with painter’s tape.
Such a sleek luxury two door!

Still sounds like a high pitched. V6 when you Revit, but sounds really good at low rpm.
Sounds great.I thought the blue stripes were painters tape at first lol
I would never want to be caught in a PEASTORM
Nice work! 🔨👊🏻😎 Sounds okay revving up, sounds pretty good idling. I personally would have left it stock. What’s with the blue tape?
Racer X speed racers brother
Look like the Tape Holding the Car Together 🤣
Great video, and great work! Do you have a link for the x-pipe?
Peastorm trying to go rich lol 😂
Your exhaust was so much better than that expensive one😂😂
That blue sh!t all over that car looks hideous... Some people have no idea.
That is one sweet car
BEAST MODE ❗❗❗
Why is there tape on it? Did it get some paint correction done?
reccomend an exhaust for AMG GTC that wont kill the wallet
The tape might have something to do with branding/advertising for his company or something
What can you guys do for a F-type 2019 P300?
Bring it by and we can brainstorm a solution
@@exhaustaddictsfor a p300 is a supersprint system good?
9k$!? That's too much money for an exhaust setup unless you're rich or something. But would defentily go with resonater delete instead
get to da CHOPPER!
Love the car love the exhaust system!!❤❤❤ but what’s up with that painter tape all over the car , shit it’s ugly
Yikes.
LOL, sounded better with just the resonator delete
That random painters tape ruined that gorgeous car wtf
stupid tape ruined the whole thing
The masking tape makes it look awful!
MENGA MINT!!!
That Needs A Resonator And 9k? FUCK That Lmao
Bro stop 9k for an exhaust
Well that jag aint pulling any muscles lol all taped up
Oh yeah. Made in China I see on the label. I’ll pass thanks
The blue interior is also cheap looking and awful in my opinion
😮💨
You talk too damn much!
Peastorm 😂😂 no thanks
Ruined the car with all the painters tape decals so dumb good sound though
