Another great thing is home storage, organization a flexibility. You can have your pack outs ready to go for different types of adventure and rig them as you see fit. Going on a day trip, take boxes A, B and C. Going fishing you might take boxes A, F amd G, etc. All mostly ready with versatile rigging and so forth.

Thanks for this. I have watched at least a dozen videos on modular toolbox camp kitchen set-ups, and yours was the the most concise and useful of the bunch.
I am a RIDGID guy (which is manufactured by Milwaukee in Canada), and have decided to go with their Pro Gear 2.0 system. It ticks many of the same boxes your set-up does, but costs significantly less than the PackOut system - leaving some cash leftover for the stuff I’ll be stuffing inside the boxes. 😎👍

Thanks for sharing, planning on installing 3 rows of the new wall mount brackets they have in my gladiator. Should fit perfectly allowing max 6 stacks in the bed. Will run two l tracks the length of bed on each side taking up almost entire well to well space of my bed. Then surface is flat and can configure or use for work as I need. Will keep shooting stuff in one bin, hunting glass, recovery gear, chainsaw with a cut to allow bar to protrude, food, clothes, firewood, etc. everything will have a bin and be labeled, then all you do is take the bins u need for adventure at hand and clip in and run. We run a seek 8 tipi w cots and stove, sometimes u want to cook by truck, sometimes in shade, sometimes in ten. Just move bins and run smooth top on one for table for griddle and u are good. I think this is the perfect overlanding storage solution

I’m neck deep into the packout system as is between my tools and work and stuff, been trying to figure out recently how to mount a packout plate to my bed without drilling and holes…
I did the same thing, but I used the Ridgid system. The packout is pricey for the number of cases I needed. I did use the small clear top packout organizer and mounted the baseplate on the wall of my trailer.

I actually bought this exact set up a few months ago for my camper and decided it creates too much dead space. For me I think building extrusion storage boxes that hug the bed sides attached to the bed rails will be more efficient.
Yeah everyone has different needs I love being able to take them out when I’m not camping.

Thanks for sharing. I’m thinking about getting one of those jds milkwaukee mounting systems for my Jeep. I want to have a fixed storage for my tools and power tools, coolers and other camping and recovery stuff and be able to pull out everything to put a deepsleep4jeeo mattress as well.

I couldn't agree more. I largely bought into Milwaukee tools almost ten years ago when I was getting back into construction. Spend alot of research on tools and decided to go with them. Seeing what they done since then and since TTI bought them out....has been very rewarding. I am currently using Milwaukee tools and the packout system for my landscape biz and for camping and overlanding. I am painting my dedicated camping boxes an olive green color however, along with a few other upgrades.
Recently Makita released their outdoor line made strictly for outdoor activities. Instead of the aquagreen color they too have gone with an olive drab color.
I really really hope Milwaukee takes notes and follows suit soon. I already use a few of their products for camping and outdoor stuff. And I NEVER leave home without my Sawzall and kitchen sink. 🤣
i personally use coyote tan and just spray the whole thing. I do it so people wont recognize it immediately when being nosy around my car.
Thanks for the video. I like these ideas. I've used Rigid tool boxes for camping, but these days I am using the Plano Sportsman cases because 3 fit perfectly across the back of my Tacoma bed. I am curious if you looked at the Frontrunner Wolfpack? They are about the same size as the Packouts but like 1/2 the cost
Yes the main draw for me is the two things I talked about at the end of the video. The other cases just don’t do that.

How much use do you think you would get from a short case that is 1½ or 2 packout plates wide ( approximately 42 in )?
That would be a pretty good size case. I kinda like having two separate cases, helps me stay organized.

They are but a lot cheaper then the drawer system I used to have.

I’m doing my best and learning as I go. I probably won’t do a redo but I cover aspects of this set up in quite a few videos.
