Prefer it above a drawer system, do not take permanent space etc. Your water system works rather well, and compact kitchen comes obvious with experience. Pilots might just know you and would think twice before buying those new pots. Having coffee with a grin, make my day! Thanks!
You know I thank you for stuff like this..I never get enough of the Kitchen prep info...
Any chance of maybe an extension video for the jerry can water container so that it can be used with a tap or a shower/spray hose?
Where did you get the utensil bag? I like that. I am reorganizing.
Look into adding a Camping Tea Kettle to your kitchen box. I just bought a 1.9L kettle and I use it all the time for coffee, tea, oatmeal, and Dehydrated food.
2003-4x4Runner G I feel like this is what he uses the JetBoil for. Very efficient. On the other hand I can definitely see the relaxing part of putting a kettle on and waiting. (And I’m not even British).
Yup - thats what the Jet Boil does in our case.
I do same 2003-4x4Runner G, that way l know it’s only had water in it and no residue from cooking to spoil my coffee.
Thanks for this video!
Fun video!! Thank you for sharing.
Did that Tepui container you keep your utensils in come with a tent? Or is that available somewhere?
Ya know, I actually really like the idea of breaking the kitchen kit into a modular system. If i took a stab at it; 1. Pots/Pans/plates/bowls/Utensils/Stove 2. Spices/soaps/baggies/towels/foil/filters
I carry one 10 inch iron skillet and one little pot. Can You imagine the meals.
What is that carry all that has your utensils in it?
Where did you buy the collapsible water bottle?
Does the Plano have a specific organizational plan? Or does everything “just fit?”
It pretty much just fits. When I go drawer system - I'll probably tighten it up further.
@@OverlandBound I dunno about yours but my Plano has an awful smell to it. I now keep anything food/cooking related in a different box.
Great vid. I couldn't find that utensil case online. Please direct to a retail outlet for same. Thanks!!
It’s a Tepui tool bag!
I had the same question. I found it here tepui.com/products/tool-case
Tepui case (and their other options - Duffle bag, etc.) is completely out and completely discontinued.
For not being a foodie you sure are well provisiond with home luxuries. Where are the 10inch candel holders?
I am married.
can u put a link where I can buy the tepui bag?
Here you go! tepui.com/products/tool-case
@@OverlandBound thank you
I’d like to figure out a way to put dividers in a Plano box.
cut some cardboard to size and use some duct/gaffe tape to affix it to the walls and floor of the box
Where did you purchase the utensil bag? That looks really cool and my wife says it and a Skottle are must have items for our adventure next month.
Its the Tepui Tents Expedition Series Tool Case. We use it for kitchen stuff!
Tepui case (and their other options - Duffle bag, etc.) is completely out and completely discontinued.
That is my problem. I pack for catering. That is my bad. I just to set limits.(That is what my wife says) Help me.
😂 You can do it!
Definitely a hurricane would be cool
How will you integrate this setup into the new drawer system? Any changes?... or just differently organized?
Just organized differently. Probably same basic kit and a smaller fridge.
Overland Bound I’m excited about that drawer build setup of yours. I’m at that point in my build and I’ll probably put mine off for a bit and learn more about your steel framed unit. So far your concept is right in line with what I was thinking.
I didn’t realize Steve howey (google him, it’s not an insult) had a UA-cam.
Just got back from a night in the mountains and i forgot a couple things.. i need to stop being so sloppy and rushed and just make purpose driven boxes like you have been toting for years lol.
Decided to join Overland Bound 4-21 and can’t wait to receive my challenge coin in the mail! Thank you for the many videos and for sharing your passion for exploring the outdoors! I wish I would have joined sooner.. Member #22942. -Adam
Welcome to the crew! Glad to have you!
Check the Stanley Base Camp cook set, you can save lots of space
Thanks for the video. That kitchen/cooking organizer case is nice.
"This is on my threshold it annoys me." I love these minimally edited, very helpful videos. Thank you!
Check out the flame king refillable propane bottles. Less waste. The Coleman ones technically aren't refillable.
Like Most....Coleman is what I've always had.
Really enjoying your short videos on how you set up, organize, and your experiences. I don't think people realize how important organization is and the dividends it pays while out on the trail. The good overlanding gear is for making the camp set up quick and convenient. Cheers! Member #17743
Thanks for the video. And for sharing your kitchen with me.
What is that Tepui storage thing your using and where can I find one?
HOLY CRAP MICHAEL !!! So glad to see Corry bought you a hair brush and is teaching you how to use it. All joking aside , thank you for what you do. It is keeping us sane in this crazy time we are going through right now.
I like the idea of soft containers, keeps the GVW down!✔✔✔
Mikey, I liked the video and a the great piece of kit, too. Cheers, Mate.
Thanks your saving people thousands. Just a few good items is all you need to have a great setup. Awesome 😎
You gave me some ideas for my own load plan, thank you.
So in the Pano 56 qt sportsman's Trunk
I like to use Vital impact 30 cal and 50 cal mtl ammo box for additional organizations
I can fit 3-50 cal or 5-30 cal into the trunk
Or 2-50 cal and 2-30 cal in the trunk
And it allows me to still place the cutting board under neath and various other things on top of the ammo cans
And I can choose to leave the lid on, or take the lids off
And I placed pencil boxes in one to put all of my flatware and napkins. Or a 6 pack bottle box for the same and condiments
Any ideas on water filtration / purification? We all hope to have potable water but it’s not always possible and good to be prepared just in case.
Hawker hurricane 👍🏼👍🏼😂😂🍻🍻
a Camp Chef Everest fits nicely in the bottom of those Plano Sportsman's Trunk along with all my other kitchen gear and an aluminum folding table like in the video (32" square ver.). love those trunks 👍
Love those bowl/plate/lid deals. Can you post a link or the brand name?
They are UCO brand & product name is Mess Kit, I believe.
Navigating overland?….in a vehicle?…..Guess I’m in the wrong place when searching for bush crafters…..found a real “outdoorsman” --with all the pampered comforts of home…. Why not just drag along the house? Whoa
Where’s the how to video for the faucet? Thanks.
Here you go! ua-cam.com/video/wNHp5F-d2c4/v-deo.html
Those Plano totes are great. Good call. I still hate bins though
hi scrappy wolf here. dont forget clingfilm for food, also for covering burns etc
Love it, keep it up, Mike!
I have the same large burner with the foot...works great, simple and to the point.
Good job guys, way to keep it alive. 0b#11964
Great video. 2 questions: what did you get water from to fill the water bottle? What brand is that utensil bag?
Hi Natalie! That is a Tepui Tool Bag. I made the faucet, here is a video: ua-cam.com/video/wNHp5F-d2c4/v-deo.html You might also be interested in the LifeSaver! ua-cam.com/video/Q2SB_pSyUJQ/v-deo.html
What is that water dispenser you have thays nice!??
what brand are those plates and bowls?
Another great video Sir
Those GSP.. GPS.. GCP things are annoying as heck...but man, they are compact.
Great
What? no pizza stone, no pizza cutter. That's roughing it
Hard core!
Nice!
Thank you!!!
Hi Mike! I'm using your video as a checklist. I reserved a lakeside campsite for my birthday this month; two nights of total relaxation, fishing and practicing my culinary skills. Hard to believe it's been three month since my last adventure due to this SHTF event. After watching your video and that of softroadingthewest I pulled the trigger and bought the Gazelle T3 tent. Now I'm trying to decide if the Tembo Scottle will be my next investment. I normally use a UCO portable grill and a couple of single burner Coleman stoves. I've enjoyed watching your videos the last three months and will be joining the Overland Bound family community.
Seriously expected that kitchen box to be overflowing. Well done buddy. Restraint!! Nice to see it's not a thousand dollar allu-box or whatever they're called. Really enjoy your videos and your sense of humor. Thanks for your hard work. If the dang Canadian/US border ever opens again I am going to join the ranks of the Overland Bounders! Cheers.
Were can I get the utensil bag you are using 🤔
That’s Tepui, and a bit scarce!
@@OverlandBound tdd
Had to hit like because You mentioned the threshold of annoyance. Very funny to me 😊
10:36 Aaahhh, its like the random drawer where everything that doesnt have a place goes.
You can use a little spray bottle of vinegar to “wash” dishes too.
Haha the plane comment had me.
A link for the table please
Thanks
Nice 80
Nice one simple and easy to use.
😎🇳🇿👍
23404 here. Nice vid. Going out to repack my kitchen. 🤪
Awesome! Have fun with it!

Hahahaaa!
