- In this video I start a 3KW - 200ah power supply in a rolling Milwaukee Packout case. It has a 70A DC output along with all the necessary USB charging ports and lights. This build is the first part of a complete Packout system that will have Milwaukee battery charging, tunes, and a full work light setup. I'm building this in preparation for my move off grid.

Really enjoyed watching that. I have similar sized batteries from basengreen, hooentonfind a toolbox in which they fit. Milwaukee too expensive here in Europe.
One remark though. In your description box you speak of a 200Ah system. But you have 2x 100ah 12v batteries connected as a 24v system. Meaning you have a 100ah 24v system.
Been thinking of this idea for some timenow, and just came accross your video. AWESOME IDEA! everything I had in mind, but yet to do. Been planning on building a foamy camper for an E bike, and this will be my power supply. Thanks for the hard work being all done.

Oh, Milwaukee does indeed make one, it is $2500 and it doesn’t come with the $600 each batteries, and it takes 4 of them…

Maybe, you could install a thicker aluminum plate instead of the thinner one to give the wire connector more wiggle room. Bunched up wiring can cause more problems down a bumpy road. ⚠️🔥

Loving this one too! Hadn't thought of riv-nuts, but they surely do look neater than bolts. The custom instrument panel really makes it pop.
I'm wanting to do a 200AH system with a 3KW inverter in the Ridgid wheeled box. Still figuring out the math on everything. Thanks for all the ideas.
It's difficult to find batteries that can support more than 100 Amp output continuously. At 3 kW the dc voltage will sag a lot.
I seriously doubt if I will be pushing more then 2 kw through this little system. The 3000 watt inverter is more for the headroom. It was perfect for the project so I bought it.
Very nice build, top notch. Only complaint about the video was the music. Had to jump out of my chair and turn down the sound to keep from going crazy. 😁

You should be able to lower the audio channel in your movie editor.

I’ve finally finished this build and I’m just putting the final touches on the video. So I weighed it today and it came in at 109 lbs.

Yup, almost done. It's hard to get time to work on this project, I'm doing 60+ hours a week at my day job. Maybe one day this UA-cam thing will make me enough money to just work on video projects but for now I work on it when I can. I appreciate you watching and will get it out as soon as I can.
Great job! I’m looking at having one built in to the next smaller PackOut with just the top handle. And having it built at the Festool SysPower bank spec. I think it’s 5000 watt but it’s extremely compact.
Nice power pack! I prefer the Milwaukee boxes over the RIDGID but the Milwaukee doesn’t fit in my truck bed with a tuneau cover
People have made the handle removable so it fits in with a cover. It takes 5 minutes to do.
Yeah I think they even come from the factory with a new handle

I dont know what you decided to do with that alum. face plate but you asked... Id round the corners and chamfer all the edges or at least round off the edges so it doesnt have that 90° edge that says home made. I bought a rivnut rig because of you. Ive been wanting one for at least 40 years. Ive got some double walls on this Dewalt box im using. No sheetrock screws allowed.
I ended up just leaving the plate as is. Nobody’s said anything about it. They all think it looks great, so I’m happy about that.
Careful, rivnuts can be addicting.

install a back car number plate light inside for some light when working in the dark with a turn on button.

They all have that common small size which works in the packout box.

Correct I ordered LI TIME 12v 100amp batteries they will not fit like how you have it, so you defanately need mini's @@i.b.lancer

Well, mines 2400Wh, 3000 watts, infinitely expandable. Took 4 months to build and cost twice as much as the unit your referencing. Plus mine has a ton more features then the Eco Flow. You can't really compare them. Thanks for watching.
You should’ve used thick plexiglass instead of the metal plate.

Sir,If the all in one inverter requires 48 volts DC, how are you getting 48 volts DC from 2each 12 volt batteries.?
It’s a 24v inverter. Where did you get 48v from?
Been thinking about getting one of these boxes for my build. Would like to add 2 100ah lithium batteries in it. Standard size. But not sure if it will hold it.
Be very careful when picking batteries for this box. Depending on the inverter you’re going to use, it will be very easy to buy batteries that are too large. Plan your build out carefully. Good luck.
Yea that's where I'm running into the problem is making sure everything is going to fit. My 1st box fit an 115ah AGM battery group 31. And a renogy 1000w inverter inside and the box that went over is used for the Epever charge controller the BT unit and fuse block.

Why a dc to dc? And not just a 12v inverter?
Dc to dc converter because it’s a 24v system and one of this box’s intended uses is 12v battery charging. There is an inverter. 24v inverter. Had you actually watched the video you would of known all this.
Only problem with the AIO is if it breaks every feature is lost
Yeah, all AC will be down. The DC stuff will still function. But I’m glad to report that I have been using this box a ton over the last month and it’s been working great. 👍
With this unit, could you power an air fryer?

Yes to both. It’s a 3000 watt inverter.

Just off the top of my head I would have to say about $2600 usd in parts and many hours of labour.
