In this episode we have the pleasure to meet MIKLO! Not the real mikle from blood in and blood out but the better version lol The ones that builds cars lol We had a blast with Miklo while he shared his build with us. I loved the energy and excitement he has for this platform. He knows how to build and frankenstein this Honda motors. Thank you Miklo for a great morning and we need more people like you in this world. Not just in the car community but in general! I hope you all love his Del Sol the way I did! This guy seriously put a life time worth of Honda knowledge and secrets into this build. It is one of the most complex builds I have seen in a long time.
YES, it is such a humble guy but all the things he did to this build were impossible a few years back. A lot of cutting and hacking had to be done. So subtle.

The del sol Si came with either a d16z6(obd1) or d16y8(obd2). The Del Sol VTEC came with the b16.

Low boost and keeping the stock block. But it makes 320 hp and 250 lb./ft. Torque!

@@AutomotiveAnatomy what do you think about a camry 2.5 liter to have a trd centrifugal supercharger. Supposedly it has counter rotated balanced forged crankshaft and the trd charge would add 40 plus hp on a 2.4 160 hp to make it 200. But this has 180 and power jump to 210 on the 3rd dyno run stock from Dsport magazine on 2011 tc with same 2ar fe motor.

Gorgeous Del Sol, love everything about it: the motor setup, paint, wheels, it all is nice and clean. also pretty chill dude, like the positive attiude he's got going on. love your videos man, been watching every one of them since i subscribed. a little positive critique: maybe change up the introduction commentary, as it sometimes feels a bit repetitive when the same bit of audio comes back later in the video. jay leno's garage also does this so you're in good company, but do whatever you want man, i'll be watching anyways ;)

The Delsol is underappreciated and is misunderstood due to the vocal groups hating on it for:
Replacing the CRX = by the Honda guys,
being front wheel drive = by the rear wheel drive only guys,
being 4 cylinder = by the muscle car guys,
not having Vtec as standard = by the Boy racers
not a regular convertible = by the Miata fans and
being a Honda = by many non Honda drivers as many (kids) drove them irresponsibly and disrespectfully.

Wait, is it an SI or a Vtec?
Yo! I knew I was gonna see you.
He Calls it an Si but he says it came with the B16, Presumably the B16A3 that the Usdm VTEC model came with. So it is technically an Si, but it is the Si VTEC (B16A3) not the Regular Si (D16Z6) all other models came with the D15B7.

F series is great because you ca get them anywhere for cheap probably too vs. An H or B series and now even K. I rebuilt my F22 block with F20 head about a decade back and that thing was extremely reliable, but I didn't put crazy power to it either because I was for reliability.
Is it a Si or a VTEC model? In the video he says its an Si that came with a B16A3 stock but all '94 Si models came with a D16Z6. The only del sols to get the B16A3 were the 94-95 VTEC trim levels
regardless this is an amazing build, the time and dedication put into this car is mind boggling
I knew some guy in Stockton who had a Rootbeer brown Del Sol and had the Japanese convertible top back in the days.

Only thing I think that needs a change is the shifter. A short shifter would be perfect

SI delsol didn’t come with the B16. It was the VTEC trim (EG2) that came with the B16 from factory. Just my .02

Does this car have the pull off the line? Because I know it’s fine at 5k because of the vtec but I’m looking at getting this and then installing a turbo with a new after market exhaust, I was just wondering if it would then be nippy. I am hoping to get it up to 200bhp

Chrispena86 240-250hp with a supercharger, but not all-motor. You’ll get 180hp on a good all-motor build from a B16
205whp is possible. I bought a del sol a while back that had buddy club springs, valves, retainers, and a ported and polished head. The block was also done up with some high compression pistons. That thing was insane.

The Si trim did not come with the b16a3. The del sol vtec trim came with the b16a3.. Vtec is the trim level, Si is single cam vtec, S is single non vtec.

Why wouldnt he get a del sol no disrepect to other hondas but if it aint the NSX or S2000 or Del sol or prelude or integra or honda beat then your just doing what other are doing which is ok but some people like stand out from the norm no disrespect to the civic coupe and hatch guys and everything is not about going fast lifes about doing what you want and feel with your ride plus for all you guys out there worried about what kind of drive it is awd rwd and fwd i drove all of them my dad had. A 2012 vw golf R it was the shit and he now owns a ap1 2003 s2000 it also is the shit but if your not familiar with rwd you can find yourself over a cliff real quick and as of fwd it gets alot of trash talk but theirs alot of things that you can do in fwd drive that i would dare atemped to do in rwd and then awd drive is king of all so you see its all about how you go about it i like this guys del sol though it reminds me of my 93 i had snatched from me it was lowered on coil overs and tiger eye pearl brown kinda a like a rootbeer but yeah ive owned about 3 Del sols and i loved every single one too some better then others but they are very fun little cars plus my girl friends owns a white 93 sol as well so as you see were a lil del sol crazy the only complaints i have about the Del Sol chassis is that they all leak the chassis body role squeaks but then again it is 20 yr old plus vehicle but i love em they are fun and sexy as hell when manage to get them done right and yeah their not fast but with money in hand you can make a skate board fast but hey i love the del sol beautiful and thanks for the content very satisfying bro keep it up oh and i cant forget my Accord guys stay up and stay strong power of dreams baby😁
