Karl's Tips:1. Use the medical droid to level up quickly. Place near an objective and you will be trait 3 in no time. Don't bother with body guard as the droid will heal you. Go with an offensive trait like bounty hunter or berserker.2. Play skirmish to get better with vehicles and heroes. If you suck playing as heroes you are severely limiting the fun you can have playing this game. Skirmish is a zero risk way of practicing to get better. Most people struggle to play as Vader or Leia because they view those heroes as limited, they're not. You just have to understand the strengths of each hero and the best strategy to use them.3. Always have challenges going that are relevant to the game type you are playing. Don't have a challenge going for 15 kills with an AT-AT if you are playing blast. That is a waste of time and you will miss out on extra credits for charges and skins.4. PLAY THE OBJECTIVE. I hate playing a game of walker assault as the imps and everyone runs past the uplink because there are two rebels somewhere close. Shut that uplink down and then slaughter the rebels. Same is true for sabotage, drop pod or any of the other game modes that are objective based.5. Always have an out even if that means retreating. If you live to fight another day and keep your trait level 3, you are a bigger advantage to your team.6. Know your blasters and which ones are good for specific maps on game types. Using the CA-87 on Hoth walker assault is not going to net you a decent score and you will most likely not be contributing much to the team effort. If you can match the blaster type to the map/game mode, you can gain a significant advantage over your opponents. Just because you have a favorite blaster, doesn't mean it is the best option for the current battle. 7. The best offense is a strong defense. Use adrenaline stim, bacta or the droid to keep your health up. You don't necessarily need to have bodyguard to be a tank. If you have something to keep you close to 100 HP, you can survive many encounters.8. Don't charge in at heroes, you are going to lose badly. The best strategy for the slower heroes is explosives, lots and lots of explosives. The scout pistol is surprising effective against heroes as well. It deals 100 HP damage and recharges in

Referring to your 16th tip.. I just wish there was a way to know before you started the game how many people would be using the bubble.. or anything else. and then be able to change your loadout while waiting for a re-spawn. Hopefully in Battlefront II they let you change your loadout while waiting for re-spawns like in Battlefield.

Here are all of the tips written down
1) Always run around while shooting as it will not affect your aim
2) Use third person as much as you can
3) Use first person while flying or sniping
4) Use rolling by double tapping B in xbox and O in playstation
5)If you walk and Jump you will not show up on the radar
6) You can deactivate star cards
7) If you die switch to your partner’s hand and then yours so your cards reset
8) Move around while capturing objectives
9) One of the fastest way to level up a trait is to stand near objectives while shooting at enemies
10) Ion shots helps destroy vehicles faster
11) If you combine the shock blaster with the focus fire star card then it will turn to a sniper
12) The melee attack deals double damage from the back
13) Place stuff like blaster cannon that is used by pressing x near objectives that require x
14) If you stay close to your partner you get less cooldown time for your star cards this also apply to guards and heroes so if you are a guard and you stay closer to the hero you get cooldown faster
15) If you stay close to objectives you also get cooldown faster
16) Scatter gun and Cycler rifle shoot through shields
17) At At and At St have weak spots for the at at it's the stomach and for the at st it’s the back
18) You can exit At-St by holding x on xbox or O on playstation
19) Lightsaber clash happens when both heroes use heavy attack at the same time
20) You can turn on and off your lightsaber by pressing the down button
21) When your weapon overheats there will be a yellow area on the cooldown line press x when the arrow is there
22) If you have a powerup that you don’t want and find another you can press x on the other powerup to swap them
23) You can cancel the charge of any weapon by switching back to your normal weapon
24) The bo rifle kills anyone with a melee hit no matter where you hit them
25) You can also heal heroes with the bacta tank or medical droid
26) Adrenaline stim helps heal quickly but it can also break out immediately from a shock trap
27) If you have a data type you will drop it if you use jump pack
28) The disruption star card overheats your weapon
29) The Dt-29 is the only weapon that does not overheat as it requires manual reloading
30) If you are in a tie fighter save your missile until the x wing pops the shield as missiles will go through the shields
31) Don’t pop the shields when you are about to engage someone instead pop them when you are defending against them
32) If you slow down the in a fighter you will deal more damage and if you speed up you will deal more damage
33) The explosive shots will double your overheating system so don’t just spam explosive shots or your weapon will overheat instantly
34) You can’t destroy windows using blasters but you can using explosives
35) When you are playing extraction keep in mind that the actual shipment will keep moving even if the empire disables it
36) If a ship comes at you from above while firing you can use the ion neutralizer and there will be nothing they can do about it
37) A180 rifle is better than the cycler rifle if you are sniping from a long range but the cycler rifle however have the advantage of going through shields
38) Sometimes your radar gets scrambled that could mean that there is a mine or someone has scout trait level 3 most of the cases it’s a mine so always watch out if your radar is scrambled
39) Speeder bikes deal pretty good damage against walkers so use them to take out AT ATS
40) You can through the sonic imploder through your own personal shield, however you cannot through any other grenade

a crucial tip to add is to know how to combat roll jump, it helps you move quicker around the map and makes it extremely difficult when your against one or multiple enemies to hit you

I really hope these new players start using bacta on their heroes because it's really annoying playing as a hero and watching everyone just using bacta on themselfes and not give them to groups of teammates and heroes

True, it's still a fun game though.
One addition to the last tip, you can also drop laser trip mines while the shield is active. Its a nice surprise for people chasing you.
A cool little tip I learned with the jump pack is that 1) if you are using from a standstill position, you won't go very far, 2)If you run and use it, you go a pretty decent distance and 3) if you run and jump and then use it, you go the furthest possible and just something as simple as this can save you time or your team from losing the objective. Hope this helped some people at least!
Great job Elliot! Very good! A few extra tips:
1) using 3rd person to see around corners only helps if you are using the correct shoulder view. If you use the wrong shoulder you are actually worse off (I'm not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure - actually try doing a myth busters on it!)
2) getting to level 2 and especially 3 in trait is incredibly powerful - with all traits. You should do what you can to get there. Playing the objective is usually a great way. Heals too.
3) if you are a noob spend your money wisely - don't spend money in weapons - e11 and a280c are really good (at least until ee4). Use money instead in thermal detonator, Bacta bomb, jump pack, shield or scan pulse or adrenaline stim and a trait (start with body guard). Upgrade your cards when you can. All this costs a bunch, so save your money!
4) customizations in looks don't help - they are just cosmetic, so don't spend money here until you have great cards.
Tip for bossk: you run faster when you have your reptile vision on rather than when you don't

Conor Nugent - I'm not lying. I've died as Leia once and was confused how I died but figured it out once I was in clash mode and another hero got in the middle and died as well.

That info about DT-29 is wrong. You can use some star cards while reloading the weapon. For example: adrenaline stim, shield, scatter gun and more. And btw I also learned something from this. Nice job :D
Playing on PC, I find it vey helpful to map the shoulder switch in third-person to the mouse wheel. I've done that since launch and I never forget to switch. I'm doing it constantly to great advantage.

Great video, just want to add a few things:
- Learn how to use jumpshots. Combining the jetpack with bowcaster/pulse cannon/smart rocket/disruptor rifle will make you kill more people, and also surprise most of the enemies, taking the, from above.
- During space battles, try to get as much power-ups as you can, especially the Recharge. This one will reduce the cool down for the ability of your fighter, and will even stack on a max of 2 levels, making your abilities recharge in no time. This trick also works for hero ships.
- If you're using the Bacta Bomb and the jetpack, and you're flying towards an enemy, launch the Bacta Bomb where you will land. The health replenish will actually arrive after you engaged the enemy, saving you time from healing in the middle of the fight.
- Remember that being the hero doesn't make you immortal. If are surrounded by a lots of enemies, and you cannot kill them all quickly, is better to run rather than die in a few seconds.
- An effective way to damage enemy heroes, is to use Explosive Shots combined with an high fire-rate blaster.
Blaster cannon next to objective and stim to break shock grenade are great tips I wasn't aware of. Thanks!

Elliot, you have transformed the battlefront community, into a community I am proud to be apart of. This video is great, I'm level 100 but some of these tips I can see myself implementing into my own battlefront experience, thanks Elliot your the best.
That star card refresh tip is VERY useful, thanks for the heads up on that one.
14:40 another tip for an imperial tie fighter is to save your missile until:
1. You're close and you have a lock on the ship. If you're somewhat far from it, the missile may not follow the enemy.
2. Use it AFTER they use their evasive maneuver, that way it will be harder for the enemy to avoid the missile. 14:54 BattlefrontUpdates' gameplay is a perfect example for anyone flying a normal tie fighter.
You got some great gameplay that goes along with your tips, very well done! And @ Captures, the lightsaber duel is perfect!

one tip I got is on Walker Assault on Soorsube when you get to the second round of uplinks as the Empire quickly jet pack past enemy lines and head to the uplink inside the bunker before they can. This can usually turn the tide of the battle in your favor since if you can get a squad of Stormtroopers in there you will hold that uplink no problem
i have a couple of more tips:
-when you are in a starfighter and press the aim button to lock on to an enemy ship, it will appear around the "aiming" symbol (to call it somehow) a marker that will get a darker red if you keep the aiming button too much, if you "overheat" it you won't be able to aim again until it recharges again, so you will have to shoot aimlessly.
-when you are playing walker assault or supremacy and you have a starfighter, use the mountains nearby as cover (in tatooine or hoth for example) wait for the enemy fighter to appear and ambush them, once you eliminate it you will be able to help your infantry safer.
-You can use ion grenade to deal damage to darth vader, yep its not a joke, you about 30 points or so.
-Combine the RT-97C or the DT-19 blaster with focus fire, its a freaking sniper machine gun and you catch enemies offguard waaay many times.
I hope this will help you guys and girls :D (sorry for my english mistakes)
Another couple tips for the CA-87:
1. Don't fire as fast as you can. If you do, you can only fire three shots before your gun overheats. If instead you make the effort to wait a quarter second before you pull the trigger, you can get a ton more shots off.
2. Explosive shot is a great way to learn how to aim the gun when you are trying to get the hang of it. It will almost guarantee a one hit kill even if it's just a glancing blow, and it increases the effective range. That being said, explosive shot makes it overheat even faster. Once you've gotten a bit better, switch to focus fire instead for similar damage, better range, and no crazy overheat.
3. Focus Fire really is the best. That being said, it takes a long time to get good with it. The main struggle is the very slow projectile speed of the blast. This makes sniping long distance enemies with it possible, but really only practical if they are standing still. Also, at long range a head shot is required for a kill, as well as a direct hit. If you only hit with the edge of the slug, you will do very little damage. Focus Fire is at its best at medium ranges, when the slow projectile speed is less important. A direct body shot will equal a kill almost every time, unless they have fresh bacta or high level bodyguard.
4. Go for headshots. That sounds like a no-brainer, but for this gun it is especially useful. Since you are firing a spread, it is easier to make some contact with the head, and with the increased damage, some contact is usually enough, even at a longer range than is usually practical.
5. Practice. Go into offline and get to know the blaster. How long exactly is the range? How fast can you shoot without it overheating too quickly?
Source- Me. At time of writing, 10,902 kills with this gun.

another tip is if your teammate is being chocked by Darth Vader. When he is low on health you can just throw a bacta bomb and he will survive it. It also works if you are in a corner or are stuck and Vader chokes you , if there is a medical droid, you can place it and you will not ove towards Vader because he is choking you, and you will survive. I'm not sure if it works will adrenaline stim.
tip for DT-29: activate cooling cell, use it use a blaster canon, get off after 15 seconds and then you have unlimited bullets
I've been inactive around battlefront lately and this inspired me to play again
One more thing to add to the cooling flush: Failing a cooling flush (pressing R at the wrong time) will completely reset the yellow bar, so in a safe situation you can intentionally overheat your weapon and fail the cooling flush (by pressing at the wrong time; not pressing the button at all doesn't count) to get the full yellow bar back.
great vid! in reference to the dt-29 you can actually use SOME star cards that take priority over the reload! The scout pistol, scatter gun, cycler rifle,...basically any star card that is a 'gun' but when you are done with that the reload still needs to happen.

for any new players who like sniping and attackingon the front lines, use the pulse cannon. if you hit someone anywhere o their body, they will die, no matter how much health they have. to charge your pulse cannon, you will need to hold o to the trigger until all of the 4 squares on the left have lit up. it has a slight disadvantage because the pulse cannon emits a green light when fully charged, but if you can hide and keep track of your target, the pulse cannon will do the rest.
Well actually the ca87 shock blaster can blast through windows, when combined with explosive shot or focus fire. Use explosive shot tho. On a game of cargo I can usually go 30-50 and 10ish. (Bacta, explsve shot, jetpack, and beserker). Other loudouts that I use that usually allow me to go 100+ and 20ish deaths in game modes like supremely are: 1. the dl-18/dh17 with bacta, explosive, jetpack, and beserker 2. Ee4 with bacta, focus fire(this turns the ee4 into a one shot kill up close and a way better sniper than the ee3 at any distance, usually taking 2-4 shots for a kill. Ee4 plus focus fire is beastly!) And jetpack with beserker or bodyguard depending on wether your reflexes are slower or faster.( Can shoot people before they can shoot you with high damage, or eat shots like breakfast and not die because someone is faster than you). 3. While this is not as good, it still works fairly well for smaller game modes is the a180. Use this with bodyguard for best results as I have found. 4. A total beast loudouts/glitch loudouts is the dt29 bacta, cooling cell, and jetpack with beserker. Now the reason this is so cool is because u can have nearly unlimited ammo with the dt29 and it's such a high damage gun. Activate cooling cell and then fire two shots out of the revolver gun(dt29 I think) and hop on an E-Web(turrets) or a blaster Cannon and sit there for 5-10 seconds. Then hop off the turret and you should have unlimited ammo! Well if you wants tons of cool tips and glitches and out of map glitches and want to game with me Hmu. comment and I'll send you my Xbox username.

tips and tricks: when you are using the disruption, you will disrupt the blasters and the TURRETS of your enemies
the force push is doing more damage in close range than the heavy strike
you can't stick a mine on a droid on droid run
if you are at 00:00 on the clock on the Outer Rim DLC game mode but the cargo is still moving, the rebels will loose the game if the cargo is stopped even it has passed a control point (I'm not sure if this is understandable)
you can capture control points even if you are in a Starfighter
the power blast of Lando works with his trait
the sonic imploder is very effective on Bosshk
the lucky shot is doing so much damages on Greedo and Bosshk
you can have more than 6 shots with the DT29 if you are with a cooling cell activated

And many people know about the exit in vehicels. But I don't do it, because I think the enemies deserve the kill if they are about to kill you and not only get the vehicel destroyed score ...
another tip unless it got patched out, if you start the reload with the dt-29 you can roll and it won't cancel your reload, very good in sticky situations
Tip for ships: If your encounter a 1 on 1 dogfight with let's say a tie fighter "do a barrel roll whilst shooting, they can't lock on to you but you can lock on to them. I don't mean to brag but I do very well as a pilot I use this tactic a lot and I works 90% of the time. Tip#2: Don't go near objects with the hero ships as both of them are pretty big and in that case have a large hit box. Tip#3: With the light saber heroes you can use stun and damage tactics. Luke: Force Push, Heavy Strike. Vader: Saber Throw, Heavy Stike. IMPORTANT TIP FOR HERO GAME MODES! All heroes have anti shield abilities so be mindful not to waste a shield in fighting heroes in hero hunt. Good Luck! (BTW I am lvl 100 so you are not getting crap info from some noob 😃)

Two tips I can give are:
1. While all primary blasters have no difference in accuracy while zooming or hip-firing, Star Cards like the Pulse Cannon and Cycler Rifle are far less accurate when hip firing.
2. The Bodyguard trait does help against blaster and explosive damage but has no effect against melee damage.
Eliot, on consoles the rolling and turning is a good strategu, but if you move in a certian direction and then roll, you will roll foward.
also, i usually do use the stinger pistol againts shields. the eemy is like "what?? i thought i was safe inside my personal shield!!!"
didn't know about that sonic imploder one... quite interesting, all grenades should do that.
here are 2 of my ones
1-blaster cannons deal a lot of damage to heroes
2-you can stand on medical droids, so if you are on Jakku trying to climb up into the sniper position and you missed a jump, you can place a medical droiid next to the cannons/turrets/whatever and jump on the droid, and get to the sniping position. that allows you to have both a way to heal up and a cycler rifle.
Tip: do not put explosives such as proximity mines near your teammates, just a random enemy greanade can trigger it killing you and your partners
You can fly with the data tape, if you are picking it up and just before you have it activate your jump pack. This will make you much faster when picking up the data tape.

Here's a tip : never aim with the dl44 it's better hip firing
My tip or trick for this is when you play battles or hero battles and your both using hero and one of you can't jump while the other can on Jawa refuge you jump on the tall thing and when you die your points will still be up there and the other player cannot collect the coins.
If you're on third person and there's an object blocking your fire, the white reticle should be faded and when it's bright that means it's clear to shoot

Wow I actually learned a decent amount and I watched your first version of this and I'm level 100, well done. For example I had no idea when you slow down in a ship you do more damage lol
I know this is late, and some people may have already discovered this, but Palpatine can be very powerful against Luke, because when you block as Palpatine you can also block Luke's lightsaber and some of the damage from his Heavy Strike.
I have been playing since the beginning and am level 100 and I learned a lot. Great job!

Another tip:
If you have the bo rifle equipped you can't melee through your own personal shield. Although if you have a blaster star card equipped I.e. pulse cannon or scout pistol you can melee. I've noticed while doing this that there seems to be a glitch where the bo rifle effect still kills the enemy in one hit even though you have a star card equipped.
True, you have to equip the star card weapon and unequip it right before you want to melee with the BO Rifle
You forgot something I once wasn't aware of, but later found out: that the DT-29 blaster pistol can be reloaded although you do not shot every bolt, you do so by clicking your cooling flush button.
Also there is some sneaky tricks with shifting back and forth between a blaster star card and the DT-29, I just haven't found out myself yet...
You can glitch the dt 29 to have like 100 bullets in one chamber before you have to reload

Infiltration Tip: When you're picked to fly the U-Wing at the beginning of the match, fly over to a cooldown icon to then have your abilities recharge 50% faster.
You can activate shield, lock on jam and boost every 2 seconds to make it inside the gate in no time.
Use Explosive Shot or Cooling Cell Charge Cards with the DT-29. Since this blaster doesn't overheat, you can spam the explosive shot. With the Cooling Cell, it will give you unlimited shots for the duration of the charge card active time.

one more tip, shields protect you from grenades. so if a grenade lands hear you, pop your personal shield, and you will not die. (unless it is a thermal imploder)
