2 tips for Hoth: if the rebels destroy one of the walkers, the corresponding shield door will not open for the imperials in the 2nd phase, giving the rebels a huge advantage because they have to cover fewer entrances. Conversely, if this happens to you as the imperials, there is a small button on the inside of the shield door that, if activated, opens it for your team, so definitely try to sneak around and get to it (I've heard a rumor that if you shoot the switch as the rebels the imperials can't activate it, but it's not confirmed).
Tip for Takodana/Endor: Luke can jump and then force push in midair (make sure to hold down the button or it won't work) to reach the battlements of Maz's castle or the catwalks on Endor. Use that to surprise attack any camping Boba Fetts in HvV.
Tip for Boba: his For the Hunt ability also takes him off the radar, similar to Rey's Insight.
Tip for Phasma: in HvV, ALWAYS stick with your shock droid. It makes you near invincible against lightsaber heroes, who have to get right up in your face to do damage, and once they do, your droid will immobilize them for long enough for you to take out 90% of their health if you land all your headshots.
Another tip for Hoth: the NT-242's disruptor shot can take out a DF-9 turret (the rotatey ones, not the dish ones) in five shots. Use it without dual zoom so you can use improved cooling and fire three times before overheating instead of two.
Tip for the EL-16HFE: don't fire it automatically unless in very close range. You'll land way more shots from moderate to long range by firing it semiautomatically.
Tip for the officer class: use battle command at the very beginning of matches, where your team is all bunched up together and you can get a lot of them at once. You'll get 25 battlepoints per teammate affected, giving you and your squadmates an edge by already filling up the 2x meter. This is especially effective on Theed as the extra health prevents your teammates from getting sniped immediately by nerds like me who use the NT-242.

On crait. If you have unlocked the ion shot for the fast firing sniper rifle or the disruptor shot for the NT sniper rifle. Use those to shoot down the ski speeders as the first order. Gets you points for the kill and for destroying the vehicle. The burst fire sniper is good for when they start flying closer but it leaves at a disadvantage when trying to snipe troopers. Its just down to preference

4:00 There's actually one very good reason for First Person:
The ability to easily look and see through gaps in your cover. In third person, you might have a very hard time actually shooting through possible gaps because of the camera placement.
Turns out the controller Scheme I found for Battlefront 2 online was wrong - cooling down your weapon on PS4 is actually on square and not X - On Xbox it's X and not A !

Another Tip you missed: You can combo han solo's shoulder charge into a second one by hitting the charge ability during the animation of him hitting someone with the charge or stopping after he ran the max distance.
I havent tested this on consoles but i know it works on PC. When used on enemies who are not killed by the charge it allows you to hit with it multiple times. (Only a second charge can be combo'd before a cooldown but multiple hit markers appear. The multiple hit markers may be a bug)

Manual reload for your blaster on PS4 is square (same button as activating an object), not X. Also, instead of using the reload button to hit the blue or yellow zones after overheating, just fire it again in one of those zones to activate it (don't know if this works on pc though).
Tip: If Boba's jetpack gets completely down and you pop up your "For the Hunt" ability, you won't be able to use your jetpack until your ability ends.

Willie Stroker It's not, if you use For The Hunt it makes your jet pack fuel stay while the ability is active so if you use for the hunt while you have no jet pack fuel it'll stay empty until the ability is done.
Chicken Nuggetmaster360 IDIOT. THE SPECIAL RULE OF "FOR THE HUNT ABILITY" SAYS - enemies around are revealed for a short period of time during which Boba Fett dissapears from enemy radars and can utilize unlimited Jetpack fuel. Can you see dat? IDIOT? UNLIMITED JETPACK! That means you can use it forever until ability ends!!!!!!
_MINIBOSS_ Actually nugget master is right. If there’s fuel in the jet pack and you activate for the hunt you get unlimited fuel until the ability wears off. If there’s no fuel in the jet pack and you activate it you will not fly and the jet pack won’t refuel.
I've played this game about as much as you and I actually didn't know about Rey and Han's charges could be cancelled! Especially useful since I have Star cards that makes me take less damage while charging.
Marcus W it’s super useful for Rey makes her charge miles better.
Hans can go twice if you press the button as soon as it cancels or if you hit someone.You can’t do this glitch if you cancel the charge automatically
What you should do as Rey is charge at them, and the moment you hit them, you press the attack button. Since the enemies are knocked on the ground, immediatly attacking them wil result in a free and easy kill, at least thats how i play Rey and it has always worked for me.
Don't think I've ever done a full Rey charge, I always dash out of it to be quick, it's a great tip to know! :)
stormpegasus121 yep can be hard to pull off though I find I often end up cancelling the charge instead.

You can preach that all day. They didn't make playing the objective valuable enough to entice morons to think about anything other than their eliminations and killstreaks.
Here are some bonus tips.
1. You can hold han solos sharpshooter ability instead of spamming.
2. If you press the emote buttons in a starfighter, you can looke behind you.

I got a funny tip for ya
In hero vs villain during the cutscene showcasing the heroes, you can activate your emotes just as you would during gameplay. Depending on the map, you can hear villains louder than heroes and vice versa. On Naboo, you can hear villain emotes as if you're right next them lol.

The vanguard, sentry and ee-4 all have short animations when they end which can be negated by pressing the same button to activate it. This allows you to get you primary weapon out faster and can help in the middle of a battle. Hope this was helpful
As an officer with the officer's presence card equipped you can only heal the teammates that are within your circle. See, there's a circle on the minimap around your player arrow that actually shows the area within which your teammates will have faster health recharge.

Here’s one, instead of using Yoda’s heal ability and stop moving for a short time. You can activate the heal ability while dashing and it won’t make you stop, I figured that out yesterday

One tip: The ion charges quicker the closer you are to the objective. While most of the folks charge it around 100m to the MTT or the ATAT if you stand just near it takes 2 seconds so fires almost instantly
Hey, if you are using the Sentries, the Vanguards, or the Infiltrations, you can cancel the weapon changing animation (Sentry to heavy blaster, Vanguard to rifle, abd EE-4 to Sniper) by pressing cancel (2, R1 + L1, RB + LB) once the animation starts. By doing this you get a massive advantage, and if you are on a 1v1 and you ability is ending you would probably loose because of that 1 second of inactivity.
I was wondering if anyone else noticed this.
That jump trooper trick at 11:51 is very good. I remember I was on the rebel side on endor, and i had the objective
I WAS BEING CHASED BY ALMOST ALL OF THE ENEMY TEAM, and i was on the top of the u-wing! I kept running in circles on the roof of the ship, and I was able to capture the point... and i died straight after but i won it for my team :3

One tip that I experienced that fire doesn't damage the FO Flametrooper. Its granade is exploding amd THEN set everything on fire. The explosion will damage him, but the fire itself won't.
I used it a lot e.g. on Starkiller base phase 2 and 3, just throwed the granade into a group of enemy, wait for the granade to explode and then give them more fire. It can really help the team in some chokepoints.

Tip: you can rack up a ton of points on Crait by playing as a First Order specialist dropping proximity mines on the surface. There's a high likelihood of the ski speeders passing over them, and they deal about 200 damage so it's almost always a kill.

thanks for the missle avoiding trick in starfighter team battlebecause i woeld always do flipa snd crash into stuff or get hit by the missle now I can a actually play well
Also, Boba’s ‘For the Hunt’ ability does lock the jet pack for extra fuel, but does disable the flamethrower melee.

One tip for the Starfighters is that if someone is pursuing you, you can do that awesome Poe Dameron epic-ass move (where he kills the TIE pursuers) by following the orange triangle (which is your pursuer). Also, with Kylo, you can use the Frenzy while in the air, just before he hits the ground; or when he just launches off the ground

simple tips, simple language and cool videos. I very like it!!
What I do instead of tediously switching shoulders is to use spots that utilize the preferred shoulder and I just play around that. When going around a big thing in the middle I always go to the side that allows me to see properly around it without having to constantly mess up my aim and stuff. Has worked since I tried 3rd person in the first place.

Can you make a video about all the "unnused abilities" Like the flash pistol, the disruptor or the cooldown officer cry, etc? It can be cool to see when to use them optimally!
Xavier .Garand I like the flash pistol, its good for when you get disrupted or you overheat your weapon. But the flash ability doesn’t seem to work

Extra tips/tricks
Use the officers shield around objectives that you have to hold down a button the whole time to capture.
Aim up with a detonite charge to throw it further.
More hero’s are made available after each phase in galactic assault so you can quickly get a hero if you’re having trouble getting one because the max number is in play.
Exit infiltration and vanguard before their timers are over so you don’t have to watch the overheat animation.
Jump before you use the right jet pack ability for the jump trooper, it will last longer.
Thank you for the tips on Chewbacca and Phasma I really hope the Emperor gets fixed in the next patch because Force lightning should never be able to go through walls. Keep up the good work!
