HI, thanks for tutorial but this is not working in newest cinema R25.117 , as soon as I do wight transfer the whole rig moves, fingers, arms and legs are not aligned any more, up until this point everything works. Is this a bug in R25 or something is changed and this workflow does not work any more?
You tutorial was amazing , until you crected tjhe charter part where there is a "control "tab , which i cant find , i am using c4d R25 version and ther eis no charter tab. ,can you tell me what alternatve would be in r25 ?

I can't follow the tutorial after this as the options are not the same and I can't find my own work around. Does anyone have any ideas?

I always seem to run into an issue when clicking the "transfer weights" button after dragging the model into the box, the button isn't greyed out however when I click it, nothing happens? There is a weight tag on it from mixamo, that has a well painetd weight map as well.

IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH TRANSFERING WEIGHT. Do this: make a new project. And from the mixomax you have to copy geometry and joints into a new project.
the other thing i will say is that you have to export it from mixamo in the original pose not the T pose otherwise it snaps back to the original pose when transferring weights and breaks the rig

Hi EJ, The mixamo control rig works perfect, but...... when we want 2 or more animation from mixamo blended in (motion clip) >>> WITH the mixamo control Rig included. Is that also possible? Because when I add " add motion clip" the rig goes unfortunately all the way crazy :'(. You are a great C4d Sensei
@@osmanyigit3985 no, no need to do it. I keep only the animated joints and add a motion clip to it, it works like that. Did you make your rig with mixamo autorig ? with your own character?
Hi, I modified an animation and set keyframes and exported animation in fbx format to use in Unity but animation is not exported, it stands still but skeleton moves
thats what I was wondering. I had a model of a character that was too big to upload to mixamo. I want to just download the animation and retarget all of the rig elements to a new rig based on my character.. If I find that retargeting mixamo animation tutorial I will add it here..

I have cinema4d R22 and I still don't have an advanced option when it comes to "animate" ( 17:43 ). Do you like to need only to have the R21 version?
The Animate option has always been there for many versions!
