We had a proper agreement of sale! but these kinds of refund happen only based on whom u did the transaction with. If you proceed legally it will take ages
Getting entire amount refund is great actually.....forget about interest. Im pretty sire you are dealing with cash and not easy to navigate legally either. There are still good people in realestate.

The State Govt is the main culprit for all ess in real estates they give approvals for many things to one survey No. and make poor muddle class to run from pillar to post It needs policy revamp and courts should come heavily on those who grant multiple project approvals for one survey no.

what is binding for the seller that he returned 88 lacs even after 13 months?

Why is it a problem if the land is in acquisition zone? Can you please shed some light on it (or even go deep on this if you can) for us beginners?
