  • I got to try a different split keyboard and make some findings on what works and doesn't work for me. Is this one a huge improvement or do I struggle with the same issues?

I dont know why but the clean keycaps with the indications on the side really please my ocd. Nice review!

Yeah it's a nice balance between looking clean and still being able to find if needed. It did pose a challenge for the video since I had to shoot at a low angle to show the layout. The joys of reviewing

The dongle issue annoys me too. I decided to opt for the Razer Black Widow V3 65% because it's multi mode - wired, or wireless - both dongle and Bluetooth. If you accidentally forget your dongle you can pair it with the Bluetooth or just plug it in using your phone charger cable.

Yup, I'm hoping the production version gets bluetooth. That would help so much. Nearly all other keyboards I have that support wireless have both.

Where can I go for single keycaps? I have a oddball Ajazz Alice that needs two 2.75U spacebars.

That's always a bit of a pain, I know some key manufactures have alice kits (Cerakeys comes to mind) and what I also often do is ask for extra shift keys with no markings as they are the same size. At least for one side of my Alice. On the nocfree they are the same making it a bit easier.

How long does the keyboard battery last when used wirelessly?

The battery lasts 3-6 months on a single charge, so it's basically not a burden. It recharges in about 3 hours, and you can also use it while charging.⌨☕⌨

While I can't chip in here on the full 3-6 months (didn't leave it without charger that long), I can confirm that in my experience I never worried about the batteries.

Glad I had it mentioned in there somewhere. I'm way bad in keeping up with my comments. If you do end up getting that one let me know how it worked for you!

it's not personal preference, on the ortholinear aspect.
you're just too old to learn something new. The end. It's okay brother.

Yeah, things take longer for sure. So definitely part of it. Did find out though that it's not just that, I also have gathered a lot of bad habits in my touch typing and ortholinear really punishes you for that.
