The 718 Spyder is a great car becasue as a convertible its more fun to use on a regular cruise. The Spyder with no wing but an optimize diffuser has about 30-40% less downforce.
I love going back and watching the older videos.

I have Akropovic OAP and Soul Performance valve controller...... I honestly didn’t love my 718 Spyder when I first got it because the exhaust was so underwhelming but after those 2 (relatively) inexpensive mods it was like a whole new car and gives it an exotic like, high RPM scream especially in the 7-8000RPM range

'21 718 spyder looks fucking insane, it's definitely my dream car.
So happy I subbed. The Spyder has been on my short-list in the next few months and I’m excited to see what you think of it in a few weeks. I’m waiting on a house to be built and may order something sooner than later.
What keeps you in Houston? Family? I spent 6 weeks there and couldn’t get out soon enough. Austin weather has been so much nicer and the roads out here and far better (and safer).

I agree with you on the a great car for the money however you were on to something when you said the Z06. That is the best sports car for the money. It’s actually probably a perfect sports car. Also, would absolutely have this over the RS6
I’m excited to see the C8 Z06. But having owned a C6 and driven a C7. I take the Porsche every time. The Z is great for about a month, then the plastic interior, body panel gaps, and terrible customer service remind you it’s a chevy real quick. But I will say my C6 Z was by far one of my favorite cars of all time!

I have basically the same spec coming minus the red belts. Had a white 16 spyder before this. If you run race headed the car sounds like a Carrera GT, sort of looks like one to. Nice ride dude!
