Hello everyone! My name is Jannie Lam, and I am a self-taught cook. I mostly learned from watching my mother and grandmother in the kitchen while growing up. I never knew that my passion for food and cooking ran so deep until I auditioned and competed on Season 9 of Fox's hit TV program-MasterChef. From that show came my nickname “Vegas Vixen," which at home with friends and family became "Vegas Vixen in the Kitchen." Thus, my new weekly UA-cam series was born. So tune in each week as I cook, talk about food, and share different aspects of my culture overall life. Enjoy my take on classic recipes as well as my own culinary visions.

    Ingredients:
    2 packages of instant noodles
    5oz. thinly sliced beef
1 handful of cut Chinese broccoli leaves or leafy green of choice
1 teaspoon of chicken powder (recipe can do without it, but I like it)
    1 teaspoon sugar
    3-4 pumps of oyster sauce
1 teaspoon cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 cup water
    1 tablespoon cooking oil

Yes, I agree! The vegetables (Chinese brocolli) should be crisp but never too overcooked, tender or mushy. That's the proper Cambo style! 😀 Thanks

Can you use fish sauce too or would that be too salty?
