I've just watched all your GTV videos as i'm an Alfa GTV 2.0 TS (& Alfa GT 3.2 V6) owner. You'll come to realise that GTVs are very reliable. I've had mine 3 years and use it as a daily driver. They are brilliant little cars and look absolutely mint!!! Wait until Boris says the lockdown's finally over and you start driving it everyday, you'll notice people turning their heads your way. It's such a classic looking car. Great videos sir. You now have another subscriber :)
I'm very happy to see a gtv on the channel, you will see that Alfas are non that bad as they say in terms of reliability... offcourse you have to keep in mind the age of the car. Cheers from Italy
So happy I’ve found this channel with the GTV. It’s as if I’ve bought it’s twin sister car with the exact same issues. Silver. Failed boot struts. Door card holes. Rusty looking grill and few other niggles. Now I have some guidance on what I need to do and how to go about doing it. Thank you!
Nice video mate. Love GTV's. Be careful with cheap Alfa badges off the internet. The paint (especially the white) started to dissolve after about a year. Installed a new set after spraying a coat of clear on it. Hope it will last!
Do you have any videos on how to replace the hatch gas springs that you mentioned in the start of video? Mine are broken too, and I can't understand if I'm meant to replace them from the back, or if I can access it behind seat? The inner joint is quite hard to access?
Funny how little things make a big visual difference. The wiper arms were faded and wipers were a bit knackered in my V70. Bit of T-Cut, a polish and new wipers and they looked so much better! Great car
Grille looks great Joe, I did mine the other day and the bolts were a nightmare. Your lightbar is in much better shape than some I've seen, I really wouldn't worry about the condensation within the plastic, it might go by itself given time and dryness behind it. Would recommend some silicone grease on all of your rubber seals for when the weather gets hot.
Oh yeah you’re back! This UA-cam channel has given me a lot of inspiration for my own UA-cam videos such As you’re ‘all of the cars you have driven’ vid. And my intro to your intro. You can even tell if you went and watched my UA-cam channel.
I have been driving my 2.0 twinnie gtv for over 2 years as as my daily drive doing 1000 miles a month ,things to watch are the oil consumption they drink oil as is normal for that engine . clutch slave cylinder s are prone to leak . The GTV one of the best old alfa,s to start with as there pretty decent cars if you look after them and look very cool . I would have a busso GTV in a heartbeat Have a look out at Italia autos you tube Channel Neil is a very handy guy to know and knows a lot about GTVs
Excellent work mate! That front grill came up a treat! Hopefully the moisture issue gets solved in your taillights....the new drain holes will help, but I don't want all your hard work sorting the contacts, etc to get corroded again :/
Ok so; Grille badge, you should have bought genuine as the pony eBay specials will lose their colour super quick. The situation is made worse by you using bodykit glue to stick it on. Good job on the light bar.
Hi, I have an issue with my GTv here in nigeria, it has movement issues, I’ve change the coils, fuel pump and filter, plugs and also checked the fuel lines but it’s jerks while in gear and doesn’t go up to 20. please I need help on what to do.
Interesting video, just goes to show doing little job like that all add up and make such a difference! Well done! We should do a collaboration video one day 😁

All common problems it seems... Best of luck, Jeremy! 😁
Breaking that third screw for the front grill is standard!
Nice one mate as I always say it's nice to see you and your old man working together

Front end looks so much better nice work.

A successful days work. Grille looks fantastic
Hair dryer on low, directed into the rear of lights is a good way to dry out the moisture.
Great video's, Thanks! I'm loving all your GTV vid's as I have always wanted one! Fascinating and enjoyable watching this, best of luck!

Really enjoying these videos mate
Keep the videos up!
I'd drill out the rivets, would also allow cleaning the plastic well

Thanks bud😁 the drainage holes are at the lowest points underneath and with a good sealing up, here's hoping the leak is cured 🤞🏻
@@MillerCorner Here's hoping! Stay well over there...looking forward to the next installment of "Joe Paints Random Stuff"! :P
Front grille looks boss.
Dad doesn't like being on 📸
Dad swoops in to save the day
Awesome vid there Joe 👍
A great start on the Alfa, and the first of many great videos 👍
Thanks Paul 😁
Well done on the progress, gotta love a GTV, maybe get a nice BUSSO next?
Quick question? Whats the insurance on a Busso for a young 20 something year old. That maybe why its not an option.
Please make the Joe paints random stuff a permanent fixture with that jingle 😂👌🏻👌🏻
Yay liked before I started watching.
I'm doing some DIY maintenance on the 75 😁

Good job on the light bar.
Bravo!

Get a heat gun or hair dryer and heat up the light bar to dry out the moisture ?
Interesting video, just goes to show doing little job like that all add up and make such a difference!

Definitely! Who said Alfas were high maintenance...? I'm 100% up for that! Plenty of Italian cars between us haha
Miller Corner sweeeet! We should talk more when these funny times are over 😇
What's the easiest way to remove the starter?
I don't know I'm afraid, but there are plenty of guides on the Alfa forums 😁
Do you work in aviation?
Is this the GTV from Classics World?
It is indeed! I work for them and bought it from the company recently 😁
Nice! I have a 1999 3.0 that needs serious work. So thanks for the inspiration 👍
Looking good👍🏿
Fantastico! Great job! ;-)
mr miller young Sir.
