This video is a year old but is very helpful and relatable. I too hit a deer about a month ago as well and it messed up my driver headlight shattered and my bumper with a big dent on my black ‘09 eclipse gt. I’m in the process of getting a new bumper and headlight set now and definitely gonna come back to this video thanks mate 💯.

The car is for you not for others so if you like it that’s all that matters. I have a silver 2006 and I was about to get an evo but I could not find one in decent enough shape and reasonable price so I kept my 4G and decided to build it up a bit because I really enjoy driving it and highway driving is super comfortable especially that I have 6th gear - something that most evos don’t have and Evos 3000++ rpms on the highway can be annoying... (don’t get me wrong I love Evos and not comparing but for the first car this is perfect, the parts are pretty cheap too) good luck and enjoy driving and working on your car!

Hey man how much did you pay for your hood? I have a 2011 Mitsubishi Eclipse gs that I’m currently in the process of building a turbo kit.
Did you have any problems when closing the hood I bought the same one but it won’t latch
The hood struts bolts, ones closest to the front of your vehicle need to be sanded down or drill out a hole in the hood for them to fit, I just sanded them down a bit and that works! Also you might need to adjust the rubber stoppers aswell!

yup! 2006-2012 has the same body but different features so look out for motion sensors or ect!
Are those sped d headlights if they are . Are they plug n play or are they wired
Is it possible to take out the fender without taking off the bumper?
sadly no you have to take the bumper half way off to get the the bolts by the headlight
Hey bro question about that hood, I’m worry about the vents when it rains, can water damage anything? Should I block-sealed them if yes how?
ive had the hood for about 3 years now and haven't had any problems, ive thought about making a mesh for looks but idk yet lol

Your 4g air intake just sucks hot engine air no good
Yeah i started to notice that so i put the oem one back but i just bought a cold air intake that's a 1 piece so that should fix the problem (next vid) lol
wish i could get mine for free saveing up for one rn hard to find 3.8 manuals tho
well even the 2.4l manuals are still alot of fun! might be a little cheaper
