Hi please I want this ativve fury splitter microphone?
I have a 5 mp ip camera with 2 way audio. But the sound quality is aweful. If i have the gain up it picks up distant traffic loud and distorted if i lower gain under 50% I cant hear anyone speaking by my door. No matter how i adjust it i cant hear or its too distorted. I asked the supplier could i add a better quality mic but they said it can't be done because it has a built in mic. Your advice would be appreciated
I use my Dahua camera with Xeoma software, it works really good

Guys i need serious help, i have bought NVR from one of my supplier, i also told him i need to connect microphone. he gave me NVR with Audio OutPut and Video Output so i told him is impossible to connect microphone to output connection and record sound. he said is possible i have been trying until he ran away now am in hell. i really need help i don't want to spend more money to buy another NVR. Is there any card or usb microphone input i can connect to the NVR to connect microphone and is there anyway i can connect the microphone on this kind of NVR?
isnt recording voice illegal for businesses? i live in New Jersey, USA. not sure if that helps.
Tell that to cheaters tv show??? lol
Is possible to add an external microphone to an IP camera that have only the J45 connector and the power connector?
I have the same question. Any responses?
For what Ive investigated, it is not possible. The only option I can imagine is to disassemble the camera, and look in the camera circuit for somewhere to connect the 2 pins of the microphone. This may work in case of having a circuit compatible with microphone, and may require to change the camera firmware in order to activate the microphone.
I am just imaging things, of course. I haven't check if this is possible :)
Did you find out if it's possible?
