Howard and Jesse are your standard run of the mill metal singers and would fit right in with any of those type bands... The instrumentalists are irreplaceable imo.

Ok, enough with the Howard vs Jesse vocals, but: I would assess that ultimately Jesse is the better singer for a metalcore band. If one were to consider metalcore was developed from a fusion of hardcore punk and metal, then it would be sensible to judge that the better singer in that genre would have a better overall combination of cleans and fries. That’s Jesse. Where’s Howard in this? He’s the better metal singer overall, but he lacks game in the fries and goes operatic in the cleans, a signature of modern metal in general. So really Jesse fits the band because he’s a Metalcore vocalist. The end.

I think it depends on the songs, the ones where howard is in the band the emotion is there for him and vice versa for Jesse.
