They're SO CLEAN live. I don't know how Adam can brutally riff like that & jump around. Joel is my favorite guitarist, but he's always to the side just riffing & head banging
Guys stop saying Jesse isn’t good at singing he sounds way better live then he does on these videos trust me ive seen him live and it was the best show I’ve ever seen
Jesse really struggled to sustain the high notes throughout the chorus and bridge. Definitely some vocal fatigue...likely from putting his entire body into his screams.
What’s funny is Alive or Just Breathing is one their most popular albums with tons clean singing. Believe it or not, at the time people weren’t fan of it since they liked his screams better, but fast forward 19 years later, it’s still ranked amongst to being considered as one of the greatest Metalcore albums.
Mainly it's because they're aging, both physically & mentally.But it's normal,it does not mean that if howard was performing with them in 2016 they would go apeshit like.

Every studio vocal since the 90's has been tuned, and a lot of singer use some form of autotune and compression live as they have to do hour long sets and singing os not the only part of their performance. Vocals get fatigued and even the best musicians go slightly pitchy from time to time, especially if they lose their monitor.
I like his energy and enthusiasm in performing.

i noticed that the band members havent played as full hearted now compared to the howard era. its great music but they arent very energetic lol
