Welcome to all new viewers and returning Tomads :). Here we will continue our showdown of the top 3 beaches in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. This is also know as the Riviera Maya. It’s just south of Cancun and north of Tulum. The last episode we walked south of the city and in this one we walk north. What will we find and what do YOU think?? Comments welcome!!!
Have you been in Playa 88 beach in June? I'm curious since we are booked to go this summer staying in Hotel Sol Playa. I'm aware of the sargassum condition so I'm crossing my fingers - lol
I don’t live down there, so I haven’t been there this year, but I’ve heard Sargasso season isn’t quite as bad this year as it was last year, June is usually pretty heavy seaweed, but a lot of times the resort to do a good job of cleaning it in front and if you spend a lot of time at the pool, you kind of see over the sea weed into the ocean anyway so you can still have a good time, I probably wouldn’t recommend it if it’s gonna break your bank and it’s your honeymoon or once in a lifetime, but otherwise, I think a lot of fun can still be made
