I just bought an afe intake for my Corvette. I like it. Woke up my engine. And it won't break the bank.
I just bought a K & N Blackhawk series for my Challenger, I love it felt a difference as soon as I hit the gas.
Just a muffler delete and K&N air filter is good enough. The air box that’s stock is perfect because it traps warm air that make the oil burn smoother. Cold air isn’t always good. Unless you’re racing. If your car is a daily driver don’t do CAI

A Cold Air Intake don’t do shit or add power to your car unless it’s a old ass Honda or cars 2008 or under. They are engineered now from the factory especially RTs and up. They only way u replace it if you are doing Forged Rods and Pistons, Stage 3 Cam, Long Tube Headers, New Oil Tank and injectors. So tell me how the hell I don’t know what I’m talking about brother? Please do😂🙏🏾🙌🏾
@@beyondthedetails when I say cold air isn’t good that’s forced cold air, natural cold air from weather is perfect but not forced cold air in Hot Weather. That can actually make your car slower and get less horse power please look it up 😂
@@jayyisbeastmode2487 CAI is proven to gain HP with other mods in the Challenger/Chargers. Even without you gain a noticeable benefit in throttle response.
On my RT my 0-60 dropped .2s. I document my times prior to install. Also, if you get a Tune you could see 20-25HP increase. You realistically gain ~5HP from a CAI(reputable brand ones).
I went with a hellcat lower airbox and k&n filter. I get 2 degrees ambient on a hot day. Louder and more flow. $33 plus shipping

I also added that intake, dont notice amy difference. In mine its about 8-10 degrees different. I recently installed a 6.4l intake & the degrees are 4* hotter than ambient when car is moving. Open CAI, will notice low temp when moving, but when stop is the real question, most dynos pulls with Any type of CAI is open hood. They need to do it with it closed. So when ppl are waiting for the green light.
To bad i didnt dyno to actually see the gains, but they are videos here that its maybe 3hp gain.

How’s the Intake ? Is it worth it? Or would it be best to just go with the Flowmaster delta force intake
Be careful who you let take on and off that intake. The dealership I went to incorrectly installed the gasket on it and it damn near got sucked into the engine through the throttle body. The result was the throttle body being stuck open and the car stuck at 4000 rpm roaring and error codes.
I had to get towed to the nearest dealer. In other words, I had to throw the car in neutral and turn the ignition off while still in motion because the car wouldn’t stop. I ended up replacing it with the Mopar intake which is just K&N basically
I know what you mean. Thats why I take mine to a specific dealer. I know the service guy so he takes care of my ride. I had my water pump replaced and they took off the intake and put it back on. I knew it was fine but double checked it anyways.

The dealership sealed my sensor to the old air flow and it won’t come out to connect to the afe air flow
Does the sensor have to be connected?
Yes, it does. If not, it will throw a check engine light
Did u have any trouble getting the sensor in I have a 2012 charger rt and the sensor gave me a little bit of trouble with the intake I have the same afe intake
I have the red momentum gt it’s a big difference especially when u hit the gas

I'm liking it. I'm sure I didn't get a ton of horsepower from it but it really feels like it woke up the engine a little.
@@tobarhemi I did some research and a R/T gains anything from 14hp - 19hp that's pretty sweet for such a easy thing to add.

You are better off just buying a paper air filter OEM for the Hellcat 6.2 Liter and gain more performance. I gained a lot and better fuel economy from the Hellcat Filter alone. Best $20 dollars I have ever spent. No warranty affected.

No, but I'm sure it would benefit if you have a full set up

technically yes, but when i had it I never had an issue with the dealer. If you ever need serious warranty work its easy enough to swap the OEM airbox back in
