My mpg actually went down when I cut my mid and rear mufflers because I always get it up to a higher rpm on purpose to hear that beautiful sound 😌

I have a sebring 2010 with the 3.5 v6. I have a full exhaust done with a new air box with a cold air. Im able to beat stock chargers. Fun sleeper car
9 times out of 10 the stock air box with a drop in k&n will out preform an aftermarket air intake.

I don't think that's true. Sure, K&N air chargers are overrated for sure but they are proven to add extra horsepower. That's mostly because the piping from the filter to the throttle body is more direct, smoother, can hold a larger volume of air, and devoid of resonators and baffling. Lots of stock intakes have ribbed pipes, which if anything disrupt airflow, and then lead the air through various 90* turns into different resonator chambers and baffles.
I'm glad to see more and more people aren't falling for the "CAI's give me tons of power". I have a K@N drop-in filter and a stage 2 cam. A lot of people think I'm leaving power on the table because I have a stock air box. If so, I don't think my 5th. gen. Camaro would be a 11 sec. car.

Why many do not buy new Dodges.
For a modern 3.6 Pentastar engine, assuming it's never been dyno tuned. Start with the K&N air intake, then go to Summit racing and pick up a Borla "S" exhaust. It's loud when you want it to be, and quiet when you want it to be. It will use your factory exhaust tips so your exhaust won't fill up with water every time it rains. No Drone and won't wake the neighbors on a cold start. Next, go to Modern Muscle and get a ported throttle body and ported intake manifolds. Then take it to a dyno shop for a tune. The price is about 2,300 dollars for everything without the tune. If you do this you'll get a gain of around 65 - 75 horsepower and run with any R/T 5.7 Hemi. To go the rest of the way, get a Rippmods supercharger and run with the 392 Scat Pack and give Hellcats heart attacks. But that will set you back another 8 grand before it's all said and done.

@@_pao_x2 It depends what you're looking for. The 3.6 will give you on honest 300 - 340 hp with the exhaust and intake kit. That puts you squarely in 5.7 territory. The intake kit will give you 22 and the exhaust will give you another 11. (only 11 because the stock exhaust is pretty good already). Mine put out about 356 because it was special ordered for 310 stock. Most engines put out 292. If you do both, you will notice it. A blower will take it up from there. I get 602 hp@ 22 lbs of boost with the supercharger. The only problem with that is the car can get very dangerous and you have to watch who drives it. But with 118k on it, unless you go through it top to bottom, I don't believe it'll hold up to the supercharger. The rings wouldn't be able to take the higher compression. Mine had 9,000 miles on it when I installed it. Hope this helps. Keep in mind, a supercharger installed will set you back about 12,000 dollars. Top to bottom including the tune. Tuning is a different world, especially depending on the year of your car. Most tuners will charge you about 1,000 dollars for a tune and ongoing care. Supercharged or not.

I have muffler delete, k&n Intake, and oil catch can. added great sound and good mid range power. Oil catch can keeps the oil vapors out of your Fuel/air mixture helping with a cleaner burn.

That's what I'm getting the front bumber of this car on my 2014 R/T charger black top Edition like the style of that bumber and a carbon fiber hood when I get it repainted I just got it it's black on black so that bumber will look really nice on my ride and can't wait to get other mods like cold air intake and twin turbo making it a 5.7 HEMI sleeper between 500 to 2000hp first thing I'm getting

For The 3.6L chargers you will not be able to upgrade or change the Headers. It doesn't have separate exhaust manifolds. The exhaust manifold is cast into the head on each side.

So I have an 06 charger rt 5.7 hemi and i was just really happy to finally see someone putting out content for drivers that have chargers, i myself have questions like what would be the best route to take for performance, supercharger or turbo? Also wondering if there has been any transmission swaps to convert it from automatic to manual. Also wondering about suspension and making the car look widebody. may do all the mods except the supercharger first to see what I get, aiming for 100HP more and while the supercharger will get me there I want to see if the other mods will add up, I'm more of a naturally aspirated guy but superchargers are a close second, love the sound of a turbo but I want instant throttle response
Shelby427 with all of the other mods you will get a measly 50 to 75whp for the cost of a procharger and tune!!! Lol so many people make this mistake and are very disappointed

keep in mind true COLD AIR Intake isnt in top of engine bay, it drops down where is is actually cooler.
either way the benefit thats guaranteed is a louder sound from engine.

160 stat diablo tuner and huge radiator should be absolute first mod. Also I took out the 16 plugs at 30000 miles when I bought the car. Well the factory did NOT use anti seize on the plug threads!! UGH!! So get those plugs out folks!

YaBoiN8 they should but the 3.6 can be hard to work with (like for example you can’t add headers on it) but most should work fine with any Charger engine

My dad passed away and I have his charger, I know most of the things done to it but theirs this one mod I'm not sure of. It is a slide bar that can plug into the maf sensor it looks like. Numbered 1-7 says efficient max power have no idea what it is. Any ideas?

Drain your heavy coolant fluid and replace it with Wick's Ultra Lyte EL.

Yes it will definetly make a difference . The sound is better aswell . I recently installed a pedal commander on a 2.7 charger and god damn the difference is bad ass . Do those two things and you will be smiling ear to ear , bet money on that!

Ill make a video soon to demostrate it but theres other videos as well. I believe im the only one with a 2.7 with it . It makes me happy no flaws and ive had it on a year now . I can only imagine what it does for all the bigger engines above me .

add some super 10 flowmasters keeps the agressive sound but just takes away the raspy sound
Where do you get these parts?
Most of the time the OEM intake will perform way better than any other aftermarket intake. Simply change the filter itself to something like a K&N filter for the original intake, since they do a way better job at keeping hot air out and allow the engine to breathe cold air.
That's not true with a Charger. The K&N kit will give you around 20 and a filter won't even be close.. When you look inside the factory airbox, you'll see why.
60 years of K&N says you're wrong. Their filters have the same restrictions on them in a stock box as the OEM filter does. The box is the problem and only a kit does fix this. I've been using them since 1975. They've always done exactly what they say they'll do. It's an honorable company. My 2018 Charger picked up 22 hp with a kit. One look at the stock box after it was out and you knew why. It was full of baffles and actually went through the body. The K&N kit had no baffles on 5 inch wide smooth pipe. When you look at it; you think you should have gotten more, stock is that bad.

Flowmaster exhaust. Air intake would add some HP and make it sound nice.
Don't forget that you'll need forged pistons and shaft to handle the forced induction
Not true at all with pentistar 3.6L
Hardly. The Pentastar has a hardened bottom end already. It was supposed to have twin turbos in 2014 but Dodge never did it. Too good of performance that would obsolete their Hemi's, all of them. Mine has a blower and puts out 602hp@ 22lbs of boost. They couldn't have that.

Can you put a high flow catalytic converter on a v6?
Yes but it wont be a waste for best cheap results with be porting intake manifold and bowls along with shaving heads for better compression ratios but consider offsets of pressure and wear causing engine failure
