Anywhere we can find Mandolin Tabs for those amazing riffs?
Sylvan Esso cover soon?
Son grandiosos!!!!!!!!!
And who's Sam Smith? They're not credited
ALL of John's guitars...but only SOME of Jack's keyboards!
Jack "I play all instruments"
me "ok. but can you play the electric cigar box?"
Jack "hold my tiny xylophone"
You never know what Jack is gonna mean by "tiny xylophone"...
Chad, This made me laugh out loud! Thanks!
Next vid = two matchsticks plus a human hair
which of jack's multitude of tiny and even tinier xylophones we talkin' bout?
Musical equivalent of #holdmybeer?
WHAT? What the WHAT? So different, refreshing, and so tuneful. So different this Pomplamoose serving. I loved this. Subtle, then bracing. Thanks! Okay. I'm better now.
Ooh. I've missed the old pomplamoose video vibes.
Split screens are very nostalgic.
@@Pomplamoose Great content as always! how do you get such perfect split screens? and the round corners? THANKS!
I think this is my favorite cover, ever. The instruments and the vocals…this song is majestic the way it is. Congrats!
I know I’m 3 years late, but this song wouldn’t stop looping for me to write this comment…😄
John's guitar slides are the perfect transitions
listened to this dozens of times ... still get goose pimples from it
outstanding - amongst my favourite piece of music ever - thank you all for such a superb arrangement
Pomplamoose confinement edition.
Include special cigar box drum.
Amazing, as always.
this version is over the original, insuperable
The pre-chorus mando arpeggios are so fantastic. Really feelin some Punch Brothers vibes. John Schroeder's killin!
yup
You have no idea how excited I was seeing "Pomplamoose is doing Latch". The chorus got me teary, no lie. :'D
I shed a few tears too. Glad to join you!
Maybe my fafourite Pomplamoose song! Thanks!
The rounded corners of the video as well as the brown color palate give it such an "old-fashioned TV broadcast" vibe. Love it!
First I thought it was Jack at the double bass, and "oh, what a quarantine beard", then I saw the real Jack. A fantastic song, tears in my eyes. Not only are you fantastic musicians, the arrangements are amazing, so beautiful, and the mixing and mastering is in world class!
10 times better than the original.
Agree
After John's second slide the tears came, wow, brilliant and ever so beautiful, thank you! Thank you...
omg, what a great day. So glad I'm hearing this.
yeah absolutely!
I fell you bro... Its insane how it made my mood today. I am finishing my college today and theres so much troblles but, for a reason that i dunno why i just woke up and found this masterpiece... ITS refreshing.
Those vocal harmonies during the end screens are sooo nice
The instrumental choices for this are genius! This is for sure my favorite version of this song now.
Awwwwww thank you meghan!!!
This is upper-level arranging, composing, and performance. Thank you for creating and sharing music that is uncommon.
The acoustic guitar twangs in the background makes this a freaking masterpiece!
Absolutely incredible job by everyone involved
Yes, the backup vocals were out of this world!
Been around for like 10 years. In my opinion, this is possibly you best cover arrangement.
I know others have said it already but this version is just so much more satisfying than the original production.
Way too much talent! Mesmerizing.
Probably my favorite on this channel
My favourite part was the mandolin! I'm not always a fan of slick drive sounds. It makes me feel a bit carsick. But it was manageable.
Some Karnivool vibe. Much appreciated!
Okay, so the guitar player produced this . . using all his guitars, and it's so beautiful, with nothing contrived or out of place. and the vocals are angelic.
I love listening to your covers, I particularly enjoy the breathy yet controlled singing. It’s clear you are all excellent musicians with a love and passion for what you do. Great work all of you keep it up. Rich & Anne from Wales 🏴 🇬🇧
I liked the acoustic version better than the original, but this version is the clear winner. That bit of southern twang gets me in my roots.
yay. the whole world in one song !
It's so incredible to see how you continue to create in quarantine, keeping a safe distance, but all coming together so flawlessly.
The sun came back out. Found a place to buy plants for the garden that wasn’t too crazy. Pomplamoose released a new video. Perfect combo to take away the stresses of the work day.
I feel like seeing Nataly's stare someone's heart could just stop. Hypnotic
John Schroeder is killing!! Beautiful Mandolin Melodies!!
I know when somebody is amazing and they all do them selves and you just have to stop for a minute and think about everyone involved and I did and my God do you have a great group
wonderful... sit in a sunchair, enjoy the spring sun, light a cigar, have a cool drink.. and listen.... this is life. thank you.
Now *this* is the proper Pomplamoose videosong style I remember. :)
sweet mother of all covers.
I've been watching your vids for a long time, and I just want to say.. as a Live and Studio Audio Engineer for 10 years..Caleb's mixes are always top-notch. Super pleasurable to listen to. Dude's instincts are amazing, and creativity is seriously top-tier. I mean, I know he's working with some absolutely stellar producers and musicians (which ofcourse is extremely important), but DAMN. He very clearly puts alot of work and passion in to every song he does.
Outrageous and stupid good production... LOVE IT Folks!!! best yet
Wow. Everything about this is as good as it gets. The arrangement, the performance, the recording & mix, the video. *applause*
One word: Wow.
I love covers that strike out on their own, yet manage to retain the magic of the original. This is that.
Interesting take on this amazing song. Erin's backing vocals are angelic.
Easily my favorite version of this song, full stop.
The production is always amazing but the the outro on this one especially hit me hard with the conflicting rhythms on guitar and vocals (and that guitar tone is insane) and a freakin' mandolin. Just utterly brilliant.
If there was any doubt whatsoever that Pomplamoose would be able to keep producing incredible music without the supporting musicians being able to access the studio during the pandemic, this track puts those worries to bed. Wow! One of my favorite songs ever, and that's coming from an old school fan from the "Centrifuge" days.
Schrodinger's cat's got nothin on Schroeder's Guitars.
Or maybe he does. The only way to find out is to open the video. Until then he both has something/everything AND nothing on Shroeder's guitars.
Pomplamoose, you are the best off the best. Hugs from Curitiba, Brazil.
You know they're doing it right when I don't like the originals but absolutely love this! :)
This absolutely rocks.
This might be my favorite one yet. Holy crap, this was incredible.
I have been addicted to this song these past days. To see you guy, releasing this amazing cover. Wow. Thank you so much!!!
Jack KILLIN' IT with that clapping part!
Pomplamoose is the source where I find all the songs I heard in lounge, tv, movies etc. But don't know name or singer.
Beautiful song. Beautiful.
I love u all🥰🥰 def the wedding worthy
The best cover! Amazing! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Oh yeah, music still exists. Thanks for the reminder. Keep doping it!
like the effect of the corners of the video being softened up like the old photo images we would have printed in the 1960's. Nice look. All the rest is fab as per usual. Thanks guys and gals.
The best cover band of world!!!
I actually come back to this way more often than the original.
And the original was 10/10 a masterpiece and a banger, so this tells a lot about how good this cover is
Wonderful! Thank you for a great day.
Okay got it, it's totaly different color from latest arrangement's cover. What the fckn brilliant 🔥
Thank you so much for all your music. I just can't believe how great you all are and how much I just love your music. It touches the soul!
This is just beautiful.
Great,simply amazing!!!!
You make my day happier. Great song
The first video I saw of you guys was Mrs Robinson and I was hooked. To see the piano from that video in this one brought some nostalgia and reminded me of what got me hooked in the first place. Keep it up!
Rolontz rocking that bass!! Love this!!
Love the going back to the roots videos!
This brings me joy
I love the original version. Your version is even better!

Love and thank you. Lucky puppy 😊
...I can't stop listening to this...brilliant !!!
I love the imaginative versions of my old favs. Love the dreamy deadpan poker faced vocals, with the instruments all on overdrive.
Food for soul!
This is THE hit!
WE LOVE YOU POMPLAMOOSE🧡💛🧡💛🧡💛
WE LOVE YOU TOOOOOOOOOOOOO
That little a cappella bit at the end was a lovely surprise.
Nataly'sstaring through my soul! It's like I'm transparent. Such an amazing rendition of the song too! John was phenomenal!
