I drive door dash full-time and I play a lot of music when I drive but I've noticed that when I play scary pockets I get more orders I thought it was weird so I went home and played scary pockets and my wife gave me some , After that I figured hey I'm going to roll here so I went and scratched the lottery ticket and won a million dollars , I couldn't believe it so then I played scary pockets and a guy gave me a Ferrari I jumped in the Ferrari please pull me over and I went to prison for Grand theft and it's pretty much the end of the story I don't know where I was going but yeah that happened

Now THIS is an original and dynamic interpretation. The voice is there, she focuses on key words and and uses them to produce a truly unique take on the song. I had it playing in the background and had to stop what I was doing and pay attention, it was that good.
For real. I've had a terrible time connecting with pretty much any Cold Play song, but then I see reinterpretations like this and I think, "Maybe that wanker actually knows how to write a song or two."
Just when I thought I've heard everything by Scary Pockets I stumble into this gem. Beautiful! Everything, just perfection.

Oh yes, there is so much to love about this. How do you come up with such unique arrangements in such a short time??? I love Maiya's vocals, her ad-libs are very well-placed, absolutely dug the entry into the second verse. Most of all though, the vocals, compression and arrangement are so full of energy on this one! The original is so much louder and filled up with sound, whereas this just drips of energy and power flowing through the breaks, perfectly matching the song.

Whenever there's that one guy on piano I know it's going to be a great song. He's like the bandleader, and you know dude is totally focused on bringing the best out of the singer. Anyway, song gave me chills, 5/5 would watch again!

So it took 10 years for this to happen? The perfect match betweeen a song and singer. Maiya's tension electrifies the room (while she is still kinda holding back) until she unloads into a burst of pure joy. If listening to this does not make you happy, nothing ever will.
