I absolutely love this song. One of my all-time favorites, and this is an excellent cover!
I can't get over the passion these people display every single video. It's contagious. I can't help but watch in awe and dance/sing as they play.
My favourite 2019 discovery covering my favourite band. That's awesome.
this is one of the reasons I love working in music so much. every day at work is full of smiles, because we're doing what we love.
The smiles of all you guys in the beginning kicked me out of my corona missery. A bunch of passionate people making music together. A joy to watch.
0:27 2/10, you didn't go "huh huh huh huh" after running down the avenue
jk 10/10 i love this to death
Seriously ruined it for me. That part is ESSENTIAL
Nailed the chorus, though.
@@Pieceofeasah damn right! though I added that in myself so now I feel like I am part of the band...:D
@@leighjohnson3720 Good call lol. Whenever I sing along I find acting like a panting dog really nails the sound
It could still be mixed in...
I grew up listening to Jeff Lynn's songs. And for me, this reading is the most magnificent of all existing ones. You are such good fellows ! Adore PomplamooseMusic
You guys have soooo much fun doing this ….captivating, talented , skilled, you deserve accolades 👏
I was about 18 when this album dropped and it's still my fall-back, feel-good album. I usually don't like certain songs done as "covers", but you guys SO nailed this! Jeff should have knocked on your door to shake your hands!
I live for a bass solo. And that one was amazing.
If you live for a bass solo, you must be a VERY patient person. :P
(I mean, even christmas comes once a year at least)
the absolute joy that everyone is experiencing in this is just great
Just love this song. It’s pure joy!
OMG..those vocals are audaciously magical!
I always enjoy watching Jack having so much fun in these videos.
I love the music, but really I come to see the sheer joy on Jack’s face
The editing is brilliant, the jumps to the relevant musician whose instrument is currently prominent in such a natural way.
Great observation!
YEEEAH !!! The guys get to sing !!! So much joy in everything you all do.
58 year old still loving ELO .. 😊
GREAT TUNE 🎉🎉🎉👍
Oh My God! That was beautiful! Nataly, you look like you are having an absolute ball singing this. Jack, you look like Hulk not trying to smash the keyboard...and you all did a most excellent job with one of my favorite songs of all time...Thank you all for giving us this masterpiece!
Great effort and it's still such a happy song well done ❤
This is one of those songs you don't listen just one time when they're on. I'm pretty sure it's even illegal not to listen to it more than one, two, or three times in a row each take.
This is my favorite song right now
I adore how you scrunch your nose to hit the right note. Vocals are hauntingly awesome. Band. You are killing it, I love how all of you look like you enjoy your job. Keep up the good work.
OH MY GOD, this is just perfect 👌 this has really the positivity in it and it makes my day better thank you for this masterpiece ❤️
I just realized I was grinning ear to ear the entire time I was watching this. The 4th time I watched it...
Discovered this group 2 weeks ago and have absolutely loved everything I've seen them do since then, especially the French songs: Natalie's voice is fabulous.
as a Soundengineer, i believe Caleb Parker is now my new Hero
I've watched this so many times I feel partially responsible for the view count. Obviously this marvelous group of people is just dicking around in the studio and still manage to produce one of the best versions of not just this song, but of music in general. I also love that you have 1:51 in it like this, it adds character and something I look for every time I watch it.
SO FUN!!! I love how you shot this!!! :)
First heard this in Guardians of the Galaxy. I know they used old songs but heck those were golden!
And now this rendition: Awesome! Loving your work!
This song is my all time favorite song!
And you make it even better! How dare you!
Love this so much!
I moved from Glasgow to London in 1977 when I was 19. ELO were the first group I saw in concert, probably in 1978. This takes me right back!!
Missing the wa wa waa waa at the end! It was the electronic way of saying “Please turn me over!” As this was the last track on side one of their LP!
3:05 gave me goosebumps!! amazing work guys!!!
I think this is the one. This should be the song played at my funeral.
WOW this is one of the most cheerful songs I've ever heard!
the "hey there mr blue" line hits different, i love it❤
