@@CrazyWeatherDude Funny, Urban Meyer who has coached multiple games at LSU and PSU, claims Penn State's Beaver Stadium is the loudest stadium in college football. I don't see anyone who has played or coached at both say something different.
Lifelong Texas fan here and that moment at the Rose bowl with Vince young was special. Hair raising, the Michigan at Pen State opening play. But my favorite from this comp and possibly overall is the missed FG from Alabama into the arms of Auburn for a touchdown to finish the game, just unmatched emotions for that game.
Some of these are loud, some aren’t. The games at a neutral site like national championships aren’t going to be the loudest because lots of fans of the other team will be there cheering at opposite moments. The loudness of the crowd coming through the TV is altered by the production team.
How is LSU's "earthquake" game against Auburn sometime in 1988 not on here? Also when Kevin Butler booted the 60 yard winner against Clemson in 1984, Sanford shook all to hail
The loudest I’ve ever heard Kyle Field is when we forced the LSU game to OT in 2018 with 0:00 on the clock. Little did we know that the game was only half way done at that point 😂
1) great username 2) always wanted to attend a game there, any recommendations on one that captures the atmosphere without costing a fortune? My wife and I are Clemson grads and attend every home game (I've missed maybe 10 in 19 years, and only one since 2011) and she's in grad school at Tennessee, another venue I'd like to see, but I can't justify $300 a ticket vs. horrendous Florida.
@zchris87v80 Jesus man, what do you two do for work?! Haha! Anyways, are you referring to attending a PSU game, watching on YT, or just another team that has that atmosphere? I've only ever been to a couple of games. 1 Notre Dame one, 1 UGA. I'd like to go to PSU, but I'd have to travel all the way from Atlanta. If you just want a video of the hostile crowd, I recommend that one Michigan @ PSU game we see all over UA-cam.
I work at Camp Randal, home of UW Madison Badgers football team. When we played Alabama, oh beautiful group of guests came from Alabama to watch the game, even though Wisconsin lost, when we scored no, when the football team scored the first three points, even though we lost, it was the loudest almost scary. Shocking sound as if, several jets flew over the stadium. It was so loud. It was heard miles away and recorded! It was beautiful. I nearly shit my pants. It was so loud! It was a wonderful game and I believe everyone had fun regardless of the loss. That was fun and something you cannot describe in words alone.
As someone who was at THE GAME 2021, the play you chose was not the loudest play even from that game, let alone my time at the big house. The loudest was probably from 2023- Rod Moore’s game winning interception, or Blake Corum’s run to make it 24-17. The loudest play from 2021 was probably the first touchdown or the seven nation army / pump it up AFTER the last Michigan touchdown. Was ROCKING. Also, bowl games should not be in here bc they just don’t get as loud as home games
Ever wonder had Jalen hurts taken a knee instead of walking into the end zone to take the go ahead touchdown vs Clemson and let the clock run then score after?
Especially in ferentz's heyday. My team (clemson) isn't in the B1G as of yet, but if we do end up there, I'll look forward to going. Just bought my tickets for Virginia Tech in a few weeks since that's a bucket list item; might as well hit up another ACC stadium while I can. Last one was the red bandana game at Boston College.
