I remember picking Northern Iowa to pull the upset that year and could not contain my excitement to see it play out with Jesperson icing the game from half court
As a Creighton fan I still can’t get over that call against SDSU. Pains me to see. Nembhard grazed him and they called it a foul. I wanna die whenever I see that play.
As a proud Jersey boy for life, and living in Princeton as well, seeing FDU and Princeton pull off these crazy upsets was something I'll probably never experience again. oh and holy sh** saint peters too!
Who would hate 2016? It might have been crap for the world, but for american sports fans, it was historic and one to always love and the villanova buzzer beater is proof
Gonzaga and UCLA are building quite a history of NCAA tournament thrillers against each other. Remember the Bruins' monstrous comeback win in 2006 (73-71, after trailing 64-51 with 7:24 remaining)? Gonzaga has gotten revenge three times in the tournaments since then, including the two nail-biters in this video. By the way, I was searching for Gonzaga-UCLA history, and I noticed that the Gonzaga page for it seems to have forgotten about the 2006 game...
I'm not certain of this, but I think the rules would say that the ball is no longer in either team's possession once it hits the rim, and a player would have needed to gain control in order for a backcourt violation to be called. Since no player gained possession - the ball was simply tapped into the backcourt - there was no violation here.

I don’t think UConn qualifies for a “crazy” finish when they blew everyone out of the water for the past two years. Great team but not the point of the video…
Yo this is a really nice vid
Definitely deserves more views
Yeah, for sure does
Agree
The loyola Chicago run was fucking insane 😭they were beating everyone with buzzer beaters
They clicked the rosary beads for the first three games, them brought out the STEEL RULER for the regional final.
I will never forget that Villanova buzzer beater. One of the best endings of all time.
I was watching that live too
2016 was the best year in these decades man
as a UNC fan who was at that game I would very much like to forget that game
As a UNC fan as well it hurt a lot but that shot was unbelievable. I wasn’t to mad because the next year the Tar Heels won it all! GO HEELS!
I met that guy in person at a basketball camp and that was insane
Who does not love March Madness? One can only hope that this years 12 team football playoff even approaches it.
“Clark in a straightjacket” 🗣️🔥🔥
Kevin Harlan is the fuckin goat man I love this sequence by him
Insane freaking video

Is anyone wanna talk about the Saint Peter’s run? Insanity.
I remember in 2022 the St. Peter’s run was unbelievable. GO HEELS!
That unc nova game was fucning insane and watched it live gosh basketball used to be so good
“Ima move the rim” 9:33

Granted tho that was stupid decision on nembhard, that was gonna be called no matter what
Holy Shit that Loyola Chi run was Insane😭😭
I knowww bro
if the Cincy player had layed it up, shot would've counted since it would've been in the air when the buzzer sounded
I slowed the video down to 0.25x and there was still 0.1 on the clock when he let go of that dunk. Upon review, it would have counted!

UMBC over Virginia is still unbelievable. Not only did they pull the 16-1 upset but they won by 20!!
There’s a reason madness is in the name i can wait for this years march madness

What was bad about 2016? The world got Trump. Nothing could be better.
That Cincy dunk was good vs St Joe's. I watched it over and over. The ball is through before the buzzer hits 00:00
naw! 0.0 red light came on ball didn’t drop on time
The ball was clearly touching his hands when the clock hit 0.0 and the backboard lights went off.
Wisconsin Florida being decided by two separate leaping floater 3 pointers in the same game is crazy
Damn, Kentucky was going through it...😭😭
The 2018 south region bracket was complete chaos
4:27 how does neither oregon olayer box out on this ft..
It's been 6 years since Loyola Chicago beat Nevada... but I skip that clip every time cause the heartbreak is still real.
Loyola's run was something out of a movie
11:01 was that not a backcourt violation??
where’s the northern Iowa vs a&m game
Seriously
Cinci counted stop it at 0.1 secs it’s in the basket
Auburn was robbed twice in that game on the same play.
Roll Tide
No they weren't
i agree. hardcore auburn fan and trying not to be biased but easiest double dribble call of the ref's lives
It’s really a shame that UMBC didn’t have a buzzer beater win. 16 seed should not win by 20 😭😭
Lowkey insane you didn’t include Kstate vs Kentucky
7:43 he accepted his fate 💀💀

It’s literally a textbook shooting foul
@@nsnshbssjsjnsbdn8319it was a double dribble.
They rigged tf outta those virginia games to save face after they lost to the 16 seed the year before
UConn the greatest college team wasn't in here??must not know college. Hoop or You're a UConn hater. .
