To have running water in below ground bunker is a MAJOR problem an owner will need to endure EVERY day that bunker is in working order. If the bunker fails, it will likely be a water problem that kills it. If you put running water in a bunker below grade and/or below the water table make certain you have plans on how to handle water issues with/without power, high water table, pump failures, pipe failures, clogged drains, etc. I have running water but may bunker is above ground and the water table so I am not saying do not have it, I am only advising you that if something can fail, then count on it flailing sometime and how you will deal with it. Ron makes GREAT shelters by the way and the eyewash station is awesome. If you live within 10 miles of a nuclear target a flat roof is a horrible idea, if you live more than 30 miles do you really need a bunker like this "Man-Cave" or just a good basement for fallout protection only? Food for thought.
If i ever hit the lottery one of these will be under my dream property 🤘
You are so proud of your products and it shows. Everyone hiring a contracting company to build for them wants the company owner to be just like you.
Love that bunker. You could take a pair of those and turn it into a proper underground apartment.
You might consider 02 and CO sensors in the units if you haven't already. LIOH canisters as a backup in case the outside air should be interrupted. Maybe for the higher end models. I used to do some work on ECLSS systems for manned spacecraft.
I've been watching these a lot lately, the idea of having a bunker sounds interesting. I even saw that Alabama is offering a tax credit to homeowners who install a storm shelter. Up to $3,000 or 50% of the cost whichever is less, it's not much but it's there
Yeah but then the state will know you have a bunker.
@@tacooflove6175 It’s honestly funny you mention that because I did joke about that but realized that’s actually true. The offer is more for storm shelters than full bunkers though
Tornado shelter
You have the door location reversed on all your other bunkers, this is a better layout. Whether the door is open or the air pump is on, the flow is always pushing out the toilet air
100000%
yes i noticed some of his layouts have the bathroom in the middle

Glad to see improvements in the shelters hope you guys continue improving them!

3 in a week! You're on a roll Ron, and very nice bunker!
Can't deny , this layout is sweet. It's like an underground mobile home.
Wonderful work as always Ron!
British 13 amp plugs sockets and light switches makes smile ...keep up the good work love your videos
me love bunker vid's.
why because I cant afford one so seeing it and imagining I have it.
It's not only nice, its the BOMB!!!!
Thx for the walkthrough! I always learn something new.
Wow I love these videos! I will definitely be getting one some time!
I loved Switzerland bunkers , they are # 1
This bunker has a toilet in the right place. Not between the rooms, but in the back, where the rest of the bad air goes.
Could you make one of these with separate little pods on opposite sides of a hallway? Kinda like they have on trains. Yeah. Like little dinettes so different people could have their own little areas. That would be cool.
A side entry port makes a heck of a lot more sense than a port on the end of the bunker.
Like the consistent uploads.
Wow that is amazing!
Nice Ron. Thank you.
This is such a really nice bunker man. A real cool idea would be adding a washer and dryer
Just a small set
This one looks nice.
wow its beautiful
All I can say is wow!
I would love to see something on one of the massive Platinum series if you ever get one. Also can you cover more of the budget models you build for fire, tornados and such. Sort of a video catalog
Love the layout of this one. i would have it with it being empty shell and just have the bathroom in the back and it be my Computer tinker station with a cot. Def would put an AC unit in mine as well.
Love your videos 😀
Hi Ron. I received my Nevada Goldbuck today (17 Feb 21). I love it.
Thank you!
Awesome. Cool ain't it 😎
I would want to have one for my family..
there is plenty unused space in there above WC lots of cabinet space and above beds it can be separated with thin metal walls and added extra storge on top everything else looks nice looks nice
Very nice. One of the things I would definitely do if I was spending anything near 200,000 is get a pipe attached to this with none of the bells or whistles, just have it attached to the main one by a door. That pipe would probably be a lot cheaper with no furnishings or anything, not even a floor, just a little platform to sit on. Anyone who needed to get away and relax on their own would just go into the unfurnished pipe. It would be MUCH cheaper and give you lots of space compared to a pipe you have to furnish and stuff. You could go in there with a bouncy ball and bounce it off the wall, have some darts and throw it at a target, listen to music without disturbing the family, with a big enough pipe you could even fit a little swing in there, maybe put a few plants down there for a hobby or a fish tank. I'd also want a bath instead of just a shower, it's a little change that takes up a couple more feet but will give you lots of recreation as you could sit inside of the bath and relax.
I wouldn't need a bunk bed because I have a small family but I'd make sure that at least one of the beds are bunks anyway (probably 2 beds on one side would be bunks so you still have headroom on two beds while having bunks on others, the uniformity will be nice), what people don't realize about bunk beds is that the bunks themselves make great storage spaces. Put a board over the bars and you've just created a huge shelf space that's easily accessible and easier to put heavy things on than under the floor storage. Nobody sleeps in my room in my house but I've got about 10 boxes of survival supplies in the bunk above me. Keep a couple extra blankets in with you and you can convert a bunk into a "mini room" by draping sheets over it, giving extra privacy. If you're a little cold you can attach blankets to the side of the bunk bed instead and it will keep you warmer. A "dresser conversion" can be made on top of one of the bunks, since it looks like there isn't much personal clothes room besides maybe under the floors a bunk bed could be used as a wardrobe to house clothes, it could have a mirror in it to give the impression of having more space inside while letting you try on outfits to kill time. Alternatively put a TV on a bunk and you have an extra recreation room for the kids to play games in while you watch TV in the next room.
Oh, and a small screen would go in front of the shower so if needed someone can use the bathroom while someone else is showering.
Oh, and I'd highly advise anyone serious about living in a bunker to have a survival "craptop", just get a cheap laptop and put movies, game ROMs, free ebooks, PDF survival guides, anything that you can find to go on it. It's cheap, takes up little space, can store tons of useful information, and if you buy a decent external hard drive you can put tons of movies and songs on it without taking up much space. Download whatever music you can, music doesn't take up a lot of space and even if you don't like a particular song it gives you variety.
Pretty cool.
This is the best looking that i seen in this channel
So you absolutely have to tighten down those nuts on the door to make a gas tight seal? I can see locking the nuts down to keep the door sealed. Yikes I'd probably run into the bunker and close up the door and think I was safe. Then die of some chemical leaking in.
Beautiful!!!! due to life’s trials never.owned a home.
Awesome!
Wow i really enjoy all of your video
a patent on under floor storage is like the fine brothers when they tried to claim React as their word makes no sense, a few companies already do underfloor storage
Not in a modular bunker made the way we do
@@AtlasSurvivalShelters The structure is a smart design and I am sure it is rigid but it's just containers bolted and welded it isn't unique it is the standard, it's not some secret tech under floor storage is what mine has from 30 years ago it just seems like you want to stop competition and honestly more bunkers of a quality standard isn't something to shut down it is something to encourage lol
@@thatcanadianguy3327 if you can't profit from your own innovation, there is no incentive to innovate
@@____________________________.x that's the thing though it isn't really innovation if it was the comment wouldnt of been made lol.
@@thatcanadianguy3327 if he’s got a patent on an idea then it is what it is, there are lots of mundane patents out there. Personally I don’t like underfloor storage, it gets dirty and it’s affected by a leaking pipe, but in the case of a culvert design it’s a side result anyway. I’d imagine steel plates come in standard sizes and transport width is a fixed constraint, so any max’ed design is inevitably going to have wasted underfloor space. If you were building this on site you’d make it wider rather than taller
For the doors not to be made of wood you could use PVC like is used for privacy fencing
I recommend keeping the eye wash station empty of all water until you're ready for use. As a chemical plant worker, we have the same exact eye wash and shower station. The problem we're having with the eye wash side of it is the pipe rust on the inside. We don't use eye wash stations like this anymore. It's best to use pvc with a water filter for the water feed going to the station. We had an incident with a worker who got rust in his eyes, trying to flush antifreeze out of his eyes. He got hit with a double whammy that day rust and antifreeze in the eyes. Just a heads up, it will happen if not addressed now. I don't care what the seller tells you. It will happen to you. We have about 40-50 worthless eyewash stations in the plant now because someone didn't use common sense. Steel piping galvanized or not, and water doesn't mix when it comes to your eyes. Now we're using the squeeze bottle eye wash.
Once I have the block of land you guys are doing the bunker for the big house Ron!
I definitely have to ask for that spray nozzle thing because in a bunker you don’t wanna waste a lot of space with toilet paper toilet paper takes up too much room
Nice bunker
Shocked that in the 1960s these were very common, times are on the change they are coming back wild timesss
Another fantastic bunker, I have dumb question, you mentioned it is powered by a diesel generator, how do you store your diesel fuel long term to stop it deteriorating? Reason I ask is I had an algae growth in the diesel tank of my old diesel car that was in storage.
I would surmize you refuel your car from your bunker supply till a bunker tank is empty then refill that tank with fresh fuel. Obviously you'd want a few such tanks to rotate through. Also there are fuel preservatives you can add to the fuel.
Diesel lasts 15 years and still runs fine algae doesent grow in petrolium.
Needing gas to run it doesn't seem like a good idea.Wonder how to keep power on and what if something malfunctions?
@@alm777 The idea of a bunker is that you stay in it only for a few weeks till the fallout has subsided sufficiently. It's not that difficult to maintain enough fuel to last those few weeks.
If you intend to stay in your bunker longer than that, you might want to invest in a more expensive, but longer lasting option of an off grid solar system with battery storage.
If you go the solar route, you might also maintain a generator, "in case something malfunctions".
Product on Amazon we truckers use on aging trucks older that 30 months will remove the water and kill the algae forget the name it's cheap under 20.00
Those power sockets and the light switch are British. Hmmm....Great shelter to be honest and I do like your videos. Thanks and stay safe.
These sockets are used in many Arab middle -eastern countries , 220 v as well
Good Walk Through Ron, how about the water discharge and toilet discharge (?)
Thing is gonna have to come out soon or later from the shelter...... great constructions you do....
I be happy with this

Interesting comment about the toilet. I have wondered why they are placed in the front.
Found you through Kirsten Dirksen
These are awesome
Are you recycling the “waste” water from the RO filter, shower, and bathroom sink for flushing the toilet instead of wasting that water? Especially the water that the RO filter throws out!
That sprayer is very smart because you won’t have to worry about toilet paper
Nice bunker my yard is not big enough to have somthing like this in my back yard.
No, it is not nicer than my house as far as furnishings go. But as far as being nicer to be in, in an emergency situation, then yes it is.
With all the unrest going on in the world today. I bet you the first thing that comes to your mind is. How long is the waiting list to get one I want five. We'll come all together andma , and I'll put my brand new house on top next year😂
Is there a difference in strength or durability between the square and cylinder exterior designs?
Hey Ron, great video as always. Is it possible for you to reach out to Patrick Bet David from valuetainment and see if you can give an interview on his platform? Thanks
this seems to be one designed for the UK as the outlets and even the breaker panel is a style used in the uk
Business must be booming for you guys now.
cool!
Like your design and building process. My one concern/question is, if the bad guys gets access through main entry point, how can/do you secure generator room to keep them away from your power.
That's just silly. Just like this entire thing
Hi, Ron. One of the things I' ve never heard you talk about is communications and security; namely, how do you get, say, antenna cables, camera cables (for security cameras) and Internet/cable company etc. cables connected to your bunkers. For example, I'm an amateur radio operator and am wondering how I would hook up all my comms to one of your bunkers.
On one of his videos it shows them running wires through holes on the bottom portion of the front side of the main room, with conduit to protect the cables underground.
The video title is "Installing two "Big Boy" bomb shelters side by side" and at the time 9:50 it shows it. They were installing advanced comms so it should be just what youre looking for.
Man, this is actually cheaper than even a pretty run down small home in my area...

You need some sort of effective echo damping, to reduce the sound of being in a box.
Install carpet somehow?
Once it's in the ground the material it's packed in helps a lot.
How do you fuel the generator long term?
Yea it is posher than my apartment Ron, you just made me feel worse about my life now haha 😄
I'm afraid, what if that pipe that brings air into the bunker somehow gets damaged, gets buried in the ground or something falls on it and destroys it? How would the air get to the people in the bunker? 😬
How do the toilets work underground? Does the septic tank have to be lower?
Looks like I’m dying in the blast 😳
Nice Bunker as always. 642
Do you guys do late 1800s Victorian era interiors? The modern is a little cold for me
Great post Ron, Just a couple of questions for you mate , With your diesel generator how many Kvs does it give and how much fuel and space would one need to have to store that much fuel for say6 months ?. 2nd question , Can you put a decent layer of reinforced concrete over the top of your bunkers as well as down the sides to give extra protection and sealing from natural disasters like floods and fire and how much can it take ?. If a customer asked for a domed roof can you do that.?.
Questions: Would a covert round shelter be better if there was a big flood and under 20ft of water for a week or so?
Have you ever installed a submarine type scope in any of your bunkers?
Thank you always Ron.
Nice one. Since i've seen Russia want to nuke US with the technique known for making tsunamies. That is nuking the sea beside a city.
if you build that bunker you need to let him film the install because we all want to see that for sure
going to need an emergency air supply in the ground with you as the air vents to the surface would need to be closed
I won’t recommend any bunkers lol. I would recommend you to get in your car and travel to high ground.
@@freeeggs3811 Probably a better bet.
Two bunk beds would have been a better use of vertical space. Water storage does seem like it would last very long. Can these be tied into a well?
Is the Marine grade hatch big enough to pass a refrigerator?
Or a replacement couch 10 years in the future?
And where do you do your laundry (wash and dry)?
how you can see when the power is off?
How long do they last under ground?
Would the reverse water filter be able to get ride of calorien or make it drinkable
It is tootally awsome bunkers!! However i have few questions hope you can shed some lights
1) what haapen when you run out fuel? Is there has alternative of fuel?
2) what happen when you run out water?? Any alternative ??
I would advise to you its great if you have alternative of fuel and water in bunker because when nuclear war haapen radation will last more then 10 or 20 years depand upon nuclear warhead use.
So i belive you should have alternative of water and fuel like wind electric genrator and underground water etc
Plus if you add some nuclear radaition suite and add radation device that would make its more powerful bunker in world.
What happens if you crank the handle the other direction?
Better than expensive house
I wonder how they get the furniture in there?
why not add turn buckles on those sealed doors so no tool required?
Next to your air filter system, I've noticed that you have UK plugs and sockets, is there any reason why specifically? Is the filter run on 230 volts ?? Or Is it simply shipping to the UK?
How well does it circulate with all the doors closed? Is there a space beneath the sliding doors??
