    Make the entire house a maze of hidden doorways.
    Find a burglar in the hallway who claims to have been lost for three days.

    Most of those don't save any space at all. They just use up other space that could've still been used for something else (in some cases, more than what they would normally, actually). It's not space-saving unless it's using up only space that otherwise would've been left empty, or does more in the same amount of space as normal. None of these qualify.
    A lot of these would also be a nightmare to try and service for maintenance, repair, or replacement. Or to clean up spills and other problems.
    Not at all worth it for nothing but novelty.

      I have to agree. With a household of five you can use any space. I wish I had the luxury of any empty cupboard. :-). It is a typical dreamhouse when you have space you don’t have to share, 😂

    TV's that slide out from a cupboard don't save space if they need double the space between stored and deployed, plus extras for the mechanism to make it appear

    To all the non-Americans who are flipping out about guns: pretending that taking away guns will prevent murders and stop criminals is ridiculous. Just keep commenting on our "gun culture ", which simply solidifies the snobbish, Puritanical and hypocritical attitude of so many foreigners who, btw, break their necks trying to get over here to stay or visit. 🤔 Well, when you come, make sure you tell any bad guys how disgusting and unnecessary guns are. Tell them how pristine, pure and crime free your native country is, too. Criminals are known for being pretty open-minded. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Smh. I'd rather have a gun any day to stop someone from trying to hurt me or my family. You, on the other hand, try to reason with the person. It might work. 😒

      He heard someone in the kitchen, or saw a car in the drive, and decided that this was his home and his shit, and whoever had walked in the door had picked the wrong house today. What he didn't just fuck off and call the cops is a different story, but maybe he's got a family in that house. Cops show up after someone gets hurt, that's unacceptable to him, so he goes Rambo. Although, now that I think about it, I don't ever remember seeing Rambo wearing body armor, so there's that.

    I like that it is possible to build garage door the way every garage door was made in the 1950's in the US. That's so new!! ...actually, most of those older ones extended out into the driveway a bit more so they didn't bash into the roof of your SUV on the way up and out of the way.

    I bought an Antique broken safe and used eight 1 inch lag bolts to lock it to my floor in the basement. The safe only locks from the inside. I had to fabricate a new locking mechanism for it. I cut out the bottom of it and its the entrance to my bunker. Open the door and there is a ladder. But the floor is a trap door that also locks. So if someone ever broke it open, they would see an empty safe with a solid metal floor.

    Interesting tech, although the long table with the hidden panel would have been more impressive if the 'hand' (any owner of the table) would have removed the key, rather than leaving it in the lock. If a little child sees how Daddy opens the hidden compartment, that child will very quickly figure it out, open it, and as the news shows nearly daily, will pull out a loaded weapon and fire it out of curiosity. Lock the drawer, but then be smart/intelligent/wise and remove the key from the lock, and put it where nobody else can access it readily.

    • @kikixchannel
      @kikixchannel Рік тому

      Yes. The only purpose of those lifts is to avoid the necessity to crouch, nothing more. In return, they take time, money (electricity and maintenance) and a buttload of space. And you can't even use the tables freely since you won't be able to safely use the lifts if there's something on top.
      And what for? Anyone could have just taken off the shelves out from the corner cupboard and put a coffee machine there. The reason why they're not utilized so well usually is because they are deep and it's hard to reach their back. This certainly solves that issue...by making the back completely unusable...Not a good solution at all...

    • @RebelByNature
      @RebelByNature Рік тому

      @MarkKoekenbakker Рік тому

      @@RebelByNature I don't think you understand that guns are so common in the US and not abroad, that it is very difficult for an outsider to understand that they are so common in the US. And of course we also watch films, but they are rarely truthful.

    • @RebelByNature
      @RebelByNature Рік тому

      @@MarkKoekenbakker I guess I would be surprised if an outsider did not understand that they are so common in the US. It's very well known is it not? They may not understand the why of it, but that is different. I also understand that in many other countries citizens do not have the freedom to own a firearm. I am sure there could be debates about individual firearm ownership, but that is not what this video was about. The fact that a firearm was shown in the video does not change that. Of course accessible but secret firearms storage is a common use case, perhaps the most common, for one of these secret drawers in the US. It does not apply everywhere, but geez, it's not an excuse to go off on a wild tangent unless one is intentionally trying to start arguments. This last bit was not specific to you but to all the anti gun, anti US commenters generally because they 'saw' a gun in a drawer in a UA-cam video.

    First one , the seals were a bit rubbish, I would of thought the sellers would of made everything was 100% before videoing it

    Well that table is no longer a secret.

      Of course, the majority of people aren't going to buy either table---there's the large, long one, and the much smaller side table---with the cost being so high, so the chances of any would-be gun thief getting into one are very, very slim.

    There are some SUPER cool ideas here, but l am wondering if you are catering to more of an American audience because this video is showing ALOT of gun stash spots?? Here in Canada we would probably be less interested in where to stash the guns we don't have, lol! (No l am not anti-guns but our laws are vastly different.) On that note, l am wondering if you don't need a safe, or wine, or gun stash, what are the other options available for those spaces?? Thank💜 You for a very entertaining video with some truly fabulous ideas!!👍🏻🌈☮️🇨🇦

      There are still millions of guns in Canada, sadly the government has made many of their owners nervous.
