- Just a short video to show how I go about metal finishing. I’ll leave a link with the tools I use at the end of this description. It’s not a massive repair area but this method can be used on big or small areas once you have good access m. I recently done a tesla model 3 quarter panel repair with this method in my past few videos and that’s a massive area go check it out. Anyways I hope you’s enjoy the video.

With how thin sheetmetal on cars are today do you ever worry about shaving off too much metal with the metal file? btw, your craftsmanship is awesome!!
@@jimmerlo5931 good question, you can get different grades of file blades. This one is a fine grade file which takes off minimal material. That been said you still have to be careful. The idea is to just be filling the area you just pushed up and blend it into the metal that’s ok. I’d practice on a few scrap parts first till you get the hang of it. But even the flip and dolly is great tho, even if your going to apply filler.

Paint is very bad…really…….. It's all full of specks and silicones
