- We have a nasty little repair on this quarter panel but with some old school techniques we can re-shape it back to where it should be. I’m using a flip / slapper & dolly here to get the metal work done with a little help from the maxi by dentfix. I’ll leave a link below … hope this helps & thanks for watching…

wow. that’s so impressive watching you, bringing the panel back in shape, really nice. That dent fix dent puller is that yours or does it belong to the shop? Thanks for sharing, have a good one, bro…😅
I love your content because you showing everything you do which makes me improve. I’m wondering don’t you use putty finishing over filler work?
Well I like the 3m platinum plus because it’s such a high grade filler that it finishes like a putty. What filler do you use ?
@@LuxuryCarRepairDon't you have pinholes? I don't quite believe it. I also use the same bondo, but there are too many pinholes
nice job! How many hours need for repair this damage?
Ah thank you for the compliment but unfortunately I don’t talk hours because I work for a company and don’t want any trouble down the road. Sorry
I'd rather that than a replacement with welds all over. Great job.
Thank you, much appreciated 👍🏼
Phenomenal job! Do you add resin to your filler? If so why? I’ve never heard of that before so I’m curious.
Hi and thanks for watching, yes I always add it to my filler. It makes it spread better, like almost self levelling. I used to use soloing glaze and that was self levelling so I basically just make it work like that.
Thanks mate that’s good to know. Might try that myself! 👍🏻
@@markmcc497 let me know how you get on 👍🏼
Where do you get your work shirt from ?
Cintas
@@LuxuryCarRepair perfect thanks 🙏🏽
Great work, could you have just not used the stud weld debt puller to do the whole repair? Or was the hammer and dolly must?
You could use a dent puller if you want for sure. It’s just when you have good access the flip & dolly is great for getting low areas out and also your not going to burn the back of the panel.
@@LuxuryCarRepair Thanks for answering, the flip and fully technique will take years for me to master, there are probably only a few of you old school guys around in the UK at the moment.
@@mesmerize15 I’m currently teaching my 2 apprentice’s it right now. There where am saying nobody teaches this method in the school 🤯
