It makes a noise like something hard being hit, bird poo wouldn't make that noise. Also fresh bird poo would wipe away, whereas bug juice just smears and doesn't clear - which is exactly what happens after.

It depends on what you’re wanting to see I suppose. Personally not a fan of the wide-angle, I would rather see a view that is more realistic, one that is closer to what the driver actually sees. To me that realism would make it more impressive!

This GT3RS for perfection needs the same spec eg carbon tub, 3d printed titanium pushrod suspension components that weigh 100g but take 3,500 kgs of force, 3d printed titanium / carbon fibre prop shaft that weighs 2kgs but can handle 1800hp for eg. Push the engine out to a 4.5L - 3d print the pistons / rods. Give it Hydraulic decoupled suspension for the ultimate in mechanical grip, active toe, DD motors for active camber etc etc It needs to lose about 550 kgs and gain 190+hp to achieve perfection with the current technology available.
Even Jorg's reaction at the end knows he was flying! A "strong headwind" down the Döttinger Höhe straight was reported and you can tell it affected the car's ability to go any faster down the straight.
The part I find amazing is that relative to other cars that have been round, to come out with that time is amazing knowing that it is gear "limited" on the topspeed sections. Just shows how fast the cornering is.

I was never a big Porsche fan until I started watching these videos and others on Social Media and IMO I think they are such a perfect car. The amount of engineering that has gone into the 911 is astounding.

Absolutely astonishing time from a car with 'only' 525 hp, and at 3,268 lbs too. Porsche flexing it's superiority at chassis and aero engineering, and the best part is you know it will be dead reliable as well, no substitute indeed.

How in the world would anyone dare take fast corners at gt3 speeds in a road car. I love it! Flugplatz entry speed 210+, schwedenkreuz 240+, metzgesfeld 210+, klostertal 210+, not even a slight lift after the karusell, and that esskurve section where he had the balls to just rocket through the bumpy corners knowing he will stay in control. Just tell you how he confides in the car 100%. Thats why I love Porches over any other hyper car

So true! If you put a 918 spyder on Cup 2 R tyres I expect it will beat the GT2 RS. The biggest improvement in recent years by a mile is the rubber and we’re seeing these one lap wonder tyres all the time now.
Really hope they put out a 992 gt2rs. Can't even imagine what is going to be capable with the combination of this aero technology and ~700hp, truly amazing stuff.

This is inhuman, honestly I struggle to believe what my eyes see and my ears hear. Porsche is BY A MILLION the top of the automotive industry. Its hard to grasp what they dream and manufacture, this is in its every single bits and pieces perfection. It feels unreal yet thankfully is so real.

Now that was impressive, car and driver. The speed it achieved and track time were jaw dropping, but what shocked me even more was the braking capability of this car. This is what makes Porsche different in my view.

Plus the weight is less, and the tyre friction coefficient higher, so they generally perform much much better. But this is obvious, they are racing cars you cannot compare them to road cars. Certainly, however, Porsche is always pushing itself to get as close to that performance as possible.

Porsche declares 860Kgf at 280km/h and 408Kgf at 200km/h, considering that 1/2*Airspeed square * Cz * Front Area * Air density = Fz, we can couple the constant Cz*Front Area and get the CzS, and we have an equation for an unknown.
We average the value obtained in the two declared numbers and calculate the load at 240 km/h, which is the speed at which it is usually declared for racing cars.
We get about 598Kgf at 240, generally a modern GT3 is declared to be between 800 and 1000Kgf at 240km/h (and they are limited by regulations anyway).
Plus the weight is less, and the tyre friction coefficient higher, so they generally perform much much better. But this is obvious, they are racing cars you cannot compare them to road cars. Certainly, however, Porsche is always pushing itself to get as close to that performance as possible.
