@@zionthiem6343 they claimed 592 bhp, which is the horsepower measured at the flywheel, whilst the whp is measured at the wheels (duh). Like he said in the video, there's a 15% loss between the wheels and the flywheel

That puts you at a little over 630hp and little under 600trq at the crank.

Are Mclaren engines all hand built and therefore all slightly different HP?
No because it’s still the same engine in the cars.
Hand built to very specific tolerances, couple digit differences at most maybe.
There's no 2 engines exactly alike mass produce or hand built and if they are ecact alike they arent broken in the same way making the numbers still slightly off
If your comparing dynos, I know different dynos measure differently
There not hand made but there builder different to either vehicles which makes it drive a special way
I have to imagine that Mclaren will void your warranty if you mess with the ecu. They usually don’t like anyone but their own mechanics touching their cars.

You need a McLaren diagnostic tool to get them into dyno mode. Only serious dyno shops get ahold of these... 2wd is how the car is meant to be tested, 4wd is a bandaid.
The 600LT is one of my favorite cars out right now. Beautiful car all around. Has the tech, styling, aggressiveness, exhaust placement and sound is absolutely incredible, optional roof scoop, awesome looking wheels and so much more. Just really love it.

Since 1972 SAE HP has been measured at the transmission with the AC, hydraulic power steering if the vehicle has it, emission equipment, and a complete exhaust system. SAE, BHP, PS, and mabye CV are measured this way hence 591 SAE or 600 PS is not crank or gross HP. 591 × 1.1 = 650 crank HP and 591 × 1.15 = 680 crank HP.
Parker when recording yourself and someone else talking, don’t constantly look at the camera. Have a real conversation with the other individual

Maybe someone said this already, but I wonder if the dyno reading would have been higher if they were blowing air into the roof scoop, to mimic the ram-air effect that would happen while driving. Although, I don't know if that would effect a forced-induction car like the 600LT
I wish VF would start putting twin turbo kits on the lambos. Something like UGR. It’s so much more effective and god the spool with the V10 is mesmerizing
They make more than that mikes stock 570s made 530 whp and 470wtq. Somthe 600lt makes more . All their cars are underrated. We have a guy here in md with a purple fully optioned out 600 lt with the roof scoop and carbon seats and he just kills the other guy in the exotic car club I’m in in a straight line. We have two performantes , 911 gt3, modded 911 turbo , viper , new nsx , aventador , 2 door Ferrari sedan with the front v12 forgot name, Maserati Mc, m3, m4 and a amg gtr in our group with my c7 so I know how they perform in the real world . We get on it when we go on rallies and or just regular back roads or highway drives.

I thought Mclaren was supposed to have the least of drivetrain loss of any cars nowadays on the market. Especially 720 is supposed to have like 5 or 7 %. According to this, the 600lt has almost 15% . Thats a lot for supposedly the most advanced factory car on the planet.

So you paid how much for 500hp? You could have purchased a Corvette ZR1, Challenger Hellcat Redeye or even GT350 for more power than that.

The fact that it was a mustang dyno was the reason it was low. If you put it on a dyno jet you'd probably be around 540

I have heard in other video's(from Tavarish dynoing his lambo) that the mustang dyno reads low,way lower then most dyno's.

Do a satin finish to the carbon fiber it will looks way better , and change the seatbelt color to blue , the body color is too glossy so the satin carbon will be a nicer option to have
the LT just beat the 488 Pista, so it probably has much more than 600
