+Jose Hilera Nope, not at all haha. It was worth it in this case though. If the car isn't too badly rusted out though it can be saved with these methods. It really helps if you know how to weld. Having someone do the work done here would cost a small fortune. My Dad did these repairs over the course of a year. Even then it cost well over a thousand dollars in supplies.
what was the website. for the floor pan and how much is a floor pan and nice video. i wait for ur next project and u gotta show everything so later on i will know how to build one too. just me everything u know senses u are doing it already thanks alot for ur video appreciated man.

Where did you get your info on the Evo iv vs evo v and vi wide body having deeper wells for the rear upper control arm?
There's a whole thread on Lancer Register dedicated to it. The major differences are the cups and the subframe.
The reason I ask is because I have been trying to figure it the same thing. I have an evo iv rear floor pan too. But as I am comparing all components of evo iv and evo viii they are all the same length to include the subframe. So if what you said is true, then the camber of the wheel would be way off. Fyi, I hate this swap lol, can't wait to be done. Awesome job on the floor pan btw, I should have done the same to mine.
Tony Vang Yeah, I've done quite a bit of research and that's the conclusion I came too. Pretty sure there are no other differences; but can't say 100% since I don't have an VIII to compare my stuff too. Haha I hear ya there! I've spent the last three years collecting parts and fixing the floorpan so I REALLY can't wait to get mine done haha! I didn't do any work on it this week; but hopefully this coming weekend I'll be able to put some time into cleaning up the welding surfaces. Should be bringing my pan home from our shop this week sometime too.
Bill crap! They wouldn't ship the floor pan to me saying it would cost too much... jerks

My bad! I missed your comment! I got my floor from Japperformanceparts.co.uk, but they no longer carry Evo 4-6 pans so you'll have to find another place to get one. You can follow my build on Mirageforums.net or Evolutionm.net. My username on those forums is Alchem1st.
