They're just wooden tubs, really, but I've now heard a few videos of these Ludwig Continental drums, and honestly, they sound sh*t. 😂
I had a kit in the 80s, a silver sparkle beauty, and it sounded like Ludwig should sound.
No wonder hardly anyone lusts after these drums any more.

Tawainese made doesn't exactly scream quality either, but listen to a classic maple, legacy maple or legacy mahogany, and then you'll instantly hear that Ludwig sound, they way drums should sound..

Not the most favorable demonstation sound wise. These can sound much much better with better heads and proper tuning. The stock heads make it sound awful, trust me
