I grew up 5 miles from Jon. Saw him in the club scene. Hunka Bunka Ball room. Jon has always been a little cocky. He has had a chip on his shoulder because the lack of respect from writers. He kicked Alec out and Richie. He has his reasons. Jon can’t sing anymore. His voice is shot. Saying all that he has given the fans a ride since the 80s. Some of the most memorable songs we all know and love. You can put a old song on now and know all the words. The music was built for stadiums. The magic between Jon and Richie. Yes I would not pay to see them today but I gave all those amazing songs and memories. Like Jon says in his song about Sayreville. Sometimes this town ain’t pretty like the girl who looked so so sad. Love you Bon Jovi. Well deserved

Jon has a bit of vocal fatigue, probably due to years of touring with not enough rest time in-between. He just needs to rest his instrument. He would come back better than ever. Paul Stanley of KISS has experienced the same vocal difficulties in recent years.
jon probably wanted to get back and warm his voice up. that's something that has to be done before he hit's the stage. that's probably why he seemed so strange to everyone.

Funeral? Why did he say that? Male life expectancy in the US is almost 80, oldest one in the band is in his early early to mid 60's. That comment was a shot thru the heart. I love this band and their music and I hope they keep the music coming. Praying none of them are sick after that morbid comment.
