- Footage of Bon Jovi joining the likes of Elvis, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, U2, Madonna and Michael Jackson by being inducted into the UK Music Hall Of Fame, which took place at London's Alexandra Palace on 14 November 2006
They were presented with the Award by Dave Stewart and Kara DioGuardi (from Platinum Weird). The show was hosted by Dermot O'Leary
After receiving the award, the Band took the stage to perform an acoustic version of Livin' On A Prayer, Wanted Dead or Alive (both taken from the Slippery When Wet album) and It's My Life (from the Crush album) - Розваги
They are one of the top 5 artists of all time. Other than the Beatles and the Stones and Elvis, no one can say that anyone else is better than Bon Jovi. U2, Bruce, Zeppelin are not better bands. They are in that same elite level like Bon Jovi is
They are so blessed to have that kind of friendship....it's unique !! Jon&Richie
In fact, at the ceremony, all 4 members gave a speech of their own, but they only showed 2 on TV

I do not know why but I started to cry when Steven started talking about them!!!! and the speach richie did at the end was so emotional and when he hugged john OMG!!!

ya I know it's a shame it feels like they always showes richie's and john's speeches but never tico or david they are a part of the band to so it's pretty bad that they diden't show their speeches because i wanna hear them

Yeah, well the ceremony was long, and I think Channel 4 (UK Channel who aired it first) only had 90 minutes (or 120) to play with. So they had to do alot of editing.
Que linda persona que fue en ese momento Richie Sambora, dedico ese premio a los fans y a los miembros del grupo, sobre todo a Jon Bon Jovi, se dan las gracias como buenos hermanos y amigos, y ahora Jon que lo hecho del grupo a Richie, y puso a un niñato de mi***** que no vale pa naaaa! cuando Richie era tambien el alma de la banda, bueno fuera que volvieras Richie la banda no es lo mismo sin ti.....
Phil X no es un niñato, de verdad es un buen guitarrista y que ha estado en algunas etapas con ellos desde hace tiempo.
Sin Richie Bon Jovi jamas va a volver a ser lo mismo, pero Jon no lo hechò a Richie simplemente no se presentó mas.
En un entrevista Jon dijo que Richie jamas volvio al trabajo . Se le extraña verlo en la banda pero Phil X es un grande

Bon Jovi was a nominee for Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame last year, they were not inducted. This year, not even nominated! I'm guessing RnR HoF can take a lesson from UK Music Hall of Fame. This band has crossed generations, whether one likes their music or not, they have to respect the fact that these guys still make albums, sell millions and perform at sold out stadium shows non-stop. Very few bands/artists achieve such constant success in this age.
Where's Alec John Such? and I ask cause the man might of not been very good, but was there for their biggest albums and the years that made them big.

The bass player left in 1994
the bassist is additional player, the real bassist was kicked out because he consumed drugs
+ksmons Their Original Bassist Alec John Such left in 1994. Their current Bassist Hugh McDonald, is not an official Band Member and only plays with them Live and on the Albums as a hired Musician.
