Ah yes ,Credit Valley RR ,I was there over Christmas holidays(well actually 3 times in 3 days !) while visiting family in Mississauga.I bought my two Rapido N scale GMD-1s with sound from there and they are bloody beauty locos ,so now I have 5 of them in my collection (3 from the first run)as well as the EMDFL9in NH livery.I can hardly wait for the new loco releases ,have a bunch on pre-order...YEE HAwwwww ! The RS11 that you referenced was Duluth, Winnipeg & Pacific / Central Vermont 3609. This unit was wrecked and parts off it were used to rebuild N&W 367, which became CV 3609: 2nd. She’s been been around quite a bit since.
One slight correction. Those are not track inspection lights. They are ground lights so the engineer can look down and see if the unit is moving at night. Otherwise, great model. I wish more manufactures would use the "hybrid" handrail system. Other companies (they shall remain nameless) use one piece molded plastic handrails and the stanchions are always leaning forward or backward unprototypically at one end.
Sweeeeeet! I like the metal hand rails, Plastic hand rails on others is one of the reasons I went to brass engines. Looks like Rapido has raised the bar, they sound really good too.
If/when I get the Demo, I will smudge my Atlas DL701B as just 701 since it did not have a built-in steam genny. By the way, @rapidotrains, will the Demo of yours have the Steam Genny sound included? John Kamloops, BC
I like to hear how the locomotives run without sound to see how quiet their motors and gears are. Also why is it a secret on what version of ESU LokSound is installed. I see that in many websites, they just say ESU LokSound but they won't say if it is ESU Select or version 5.

Many of your competitors are using LokSound Select or even the LokSound "Essential". You are definitely a cut above them. I have my first Rapido locomotive on order, an Amtrak F40PH Phase 2.

Hey Rapido, I've got an idea, why not make semi-detailed locos for a budget price? I have a handful of your products (which run great), but they took a big chomp off my wallet.
It takes us a couple of days, but we do get there. We've been inundated and we've had to hire more people. If you have a difficult technical question, it takes longer as not as many people can answer those.

All of our locomotives since early 2019 with ESU Loksound have V5 decoders. The select has been discontinued.

They never actually wore it. The RS-11s were sold to D&H before entering service in that scheme.
