Yeah but the accessories mold is 9 years old and the actual figures mold has been used like 5 times already

@@kidsartclub8998i mean,its not their fault,they have to make a godzilla figure every movie to have money for other figures or stuff,plus Godzilla uses the same design for 2.5 movies,due to godzilla being pre evolved too in the movie

Exactly! Yes it is a repaint, but comparing to the gvk, I see significant improvement. Such as joint tolerance, accessories, and the shade of blue. But I hope they do some out with an evolved Godzilla one day and I’m dying to see what it will look like.🤐
Yeah that’s a good point about the blue paint too. I like this paint job this go around. And fingers crossed for an evolved.
Honestly, this is a totally fine release of this sculpt. It’s not a terrible sculpt at all, despite not being perfect, and I hope lots of people buy him and enjoy him. I wanna see SHMA succeed, as I started collecting them when I was 10 years old, and I hope they can step it up on QC as time moves forward.

The vibes on this review are super nice
I do genuinely want to buy it because I’m super biased to the 2019 design, and I’m hoping that SHMA does Godzilla Evolved because I feel their articulation matches the insane stuff he does in the film more. Yeah Hiya is more accurate, but SHMA feels right.
I also have a feeling this might pair super well with Hiya Toys’ Shimo and Ghidorah with Gravity Beams coming soon.

@@CepiTheNomad the tail on GXK is way better than the gvk one. The tail is so fragile and you can’t even move it without it popping off. It’s annoying but other than that I like it.

This would be my first shma ever,considering it ain't no bootleg
I own the GvK version, the tail fell off when I took it out of the box and it was frustrating. After looking for some new SHMA, I pre-ordered 4 figures from Hiya Toys, 3 godzillas, and shimo. SHMA qc issues and prices are unacceptable at this point.
I got the poster color shma and I think still the hiya has a really accurate head and stocky build.
I think hiya's tough joint tolerances give good playability and their larger scale is super nice.
But I also think the monsterarts captures godzilla when he's running and jumping around super well, i feel in those scenes the cgi model becomes more lanky like the shma.
To each their own ig
Those are all good points. And I agree, I think there’s benefits to both figures. If hiya can improve articulation to make him a little more posable that would be great. I also hope shma updates their model at some point lol

This is actually a figure for the people who have gotten into the sh monster arts line.
I started my Goji collection with the S.H.Monsterarts Spit Fire Godzilla 2014. I loved it and continued to invest in the other special editions of the figures as they released. Having said that, I was severely disappointed in the GvK version and have since moved on to greener pastures. My 2014 Spit Fire, 2019 Poster, 2019 Event Exclusive, and 2019 Burning are still in their packaging on my shelf. But unless something significant changes for the line and they make him more screen accurate... I've lost almost all interest. I hate how herpy derpy they made him look, lol.
This version is a slight improvement though.

I have the 2019 version of the SHMA, but I think next time I will go for Hiya Toys Evolved Godzilla, because after watching comparesing videos between Hiya Toys and SHMA Godzilla figures from previous movies, I think Hiya Toys looks more accurate but also the mold material looks stronger.
There are pros and cons to both but yeah hiyas look more accurate and feel sturdier
@@CepiTheNomad True, but why I also prefer Hiya Toys, is that the size of Godzilla is bigger than SHMA.
When it comes to Ghidorah, the Hiya version is superior towards SHMA without doubt. The size of the neck and heads are perfect accurate. And the wings has finally arcticulation, but the down side of it, is fragile ball joint.

Bandai S.H Monster is just best for Japanese Godzilla versions and because of Legendary Picture Godzilla does change any appearance at all so every figure base on them is just the same. May be they are just change some of the paint on him. I have a SH God 2019 just like you as my first godzilla figure and my first feeling about it is neck is kind of weird. But if you would love the legendary picture godzilla but want it to be as straight from the movie, Hiya toy is the best choice. But if you want Japanese Godzilla versions, choose SH Monster. If you want to know how good does SH Monster has did on their godzilla, just take a direct look to the Minus One for a more comprehensive view of the two product lines.
You know after seeing the movie it makes since that he isn’t pink but I would have loved the pink (still would buy it)
They changed the in side of the figure so the parts of the figure don't brush against each other so the paint doesn't get scratched
And this is probably one of the best monster verse Godzilla figures because the Godzilla vs Kong one came with only hands but this one comes with beam and hands

the problem with sh monster arts godzilla is that his head is a bit off and the atomic breath is hard to stick in. no hate its great!
And the jaw sags a bit once the breath is in. But I am enjoying this release

I’m gonna be doing a full dual review on this and Kong but I can say from playing around with it for a few days it feels a bit better. Have to mess around with it more though
I got mine and the base of my rail is defective. It has the wrong part for the base so I need to email bbts to get a new figure but other than that this figure is epic

I actually just got Kong 24 in today so I’ll be doing an unboxing for that by Monday or Tuesday. Also, looks like the hiya pre evolved is out now. Just got the notification that mine shipped
@@justrylanblack BBTS should say June release for the Hiya Toys Pre evolved! But go to hiya directly or kowkis toy, they are available to ship now last I checked. Might have to pay more for shipping but that is your call.

If this released for gvk it would have been good but releasing in gxk and having a new contestant with hiya toys which make much more detailed one this figure was let down and a disappointment but I do love it

I don’t mind this figure existing. I’m just disappointed in Tamashii because it feels like they’re dragging their feet. Both of the hiya heat ray releases are so much better for cheaper prices.
What I really hate is how they’re still so stingy, that they refuse to include a clear stand for the breath effect. Having to rip out the jaw to swap out the effect part is also incredibly poor design, if you ask me.
But hey, at least it looks nice.
I’m not sure but while you were kinda moving him around his knee joints seemed really loose when you weren’t even moving it it could just be how it’s made tho
I have been playing around with this figure for a few days now and they actually seem pretty good, not loose at all so that's good. Decent joint tolerances.
What about the 2021 godzilla S.H MONSTERARTS figure?

@@CepiTheNomad I have finally convinced my parents to buy it for me. Took 3-4 days to get here and its already amazing. I've already made a whole stop motion with it and its movements are very fluid. It definitely is my favorite Godzilla figure besides the hiya Godzilla. I absolutely love the box and the paint applications on it. My only major issues are the jaw being way too hard for me to pop off but then again, I'm just a kid. My other issue is upon opening it it's right leg was unusually tight, but Kong's right arm for me is very tight as well so I wasn't expecting anything amazing. The articulation on the tail is magnificent and I don't even care that it was 75$. I also don't even care about the atomic breath difference people are yapping on about. I don't see a single difference and even if I did, I wouldn't even care But anyways, whenever you're reading this, Have a Good Day, Good Evening, or Good Night. If you made it this far, thank you for reading this long paragraph of me just yapping about the figure. It means a lot to me if you're still here reading this. I don’t want to be that guy but idk if shmonsterarts is ever going to make an evolved Godzilla and Kong with beast glove and probably not even shimo or skar and. Idk if it’s just me but has shmonsterarts ever done the original legendary monsters as figures cuz they didn’t make the mutos and are probably not going to do shimo or skar. But good vid 👍
I'm also wondering if we're going to get skar king and shimo but I'm not really counting on it. And thanks I appreciate that.
