@@ISkinFlamingoswell since NECA is kinda unmatched on these two the price is the only one that could be added because it's like 20-30 dollars only I think
The problem with SHMA is that they haven't brought anything new to the table especially for this Godzilla or in general since they're lacking in a few areas that needs to be worked on and for starters they need to accept fan feedback to actually make improvements, a big company like Bandai likely ain't going to do squat since they got their money and probably won't care about the quality their toys comes out as even if it's premium so everything is basically gonna be a mixed bag of Good or Bad regardless of what they put out. Hiya toys on the other hand does listen to fan feedback and actually makes changes to their stuff which is nice but on the side of accessories that's where it may affect the prices of said toys and there could be a multitude of reasons why they don't add much to them and I would guess is to save on cost unless they really feel the need to add some in like with special color versions releases from shma as of late. Sculpt is a little subjective. I understand why people are upset now that we don't have an accurate monsterverse godzilla sculpt, but back in 2019 when this thing came out, it wasn't a controversal decision. I think it looks badass. Hiya uses straight CGI files. Both are equally good in my opinion. Hiya is just accurate while the shma is stylized.
I'd say SHM has the better sculpt, since the Hiya's lower torso looks downgraded, smoothed out compared to the rest of the body. SHM seems more consistent
If you are just a collector id advise choosing hiya, if you are a toy photographer then hiya, but if you are a stop motion animator choose sh monsterarts, but do whatever you want
At the time of its release, the SHMA 2019 Godzilla figure was considered something of a triumph by collectors, mostly just because it was a vast improvement over the embarrassingly awful 2014 Godzilla figure produced 5 years prior. The 2019 figure included accessories for the atomic breath by default (no need to buy a repaint for it) and had much improved paint and articulation compared to the 2014 figure. It’s only in retrospect (and after about 90 repaints of this incredibly underwhelming mold) that we now look back on that first 2019 figure somewhat poorly, especially now that Hiya has proved it was always possible to make a much more faithful figure recreation of the movie design, and at a more affordable price point, no less.
Pre evolved is a waste of money imo, it barley has any paint differences between 2019 and the only truly different things is the articulation, which isn’t even cool because when monsterarts released Godzilla 2024 (not evolved), the final product ALSO had improved articulation.

I also really appreciate that hiya listens to the fan community with upgrading and evolving their figures. Very refreshing.
SH will charge $15-20 more if the same figure they released prior to the 2nd version they release comes with an accessory. Hiya charges $2 more for the version that comes with accessories and the value per each figure they release stays in the same range depending on its type of release. Hiya: $49.99 for standard, and $51.99 for special version/ with accessory. SH: $65-$130 standard and no accessories, and $75-200 with atomic breath/ other accessories.
