The difference for me is Home Free feels like...home. No matter what they sing i know i can add it to my everyday Playlist. Thanks for the Home Free reactions. Have you heard their "O' Holy Night" yet?
One of (many) reasons I like HF is that you can't predict what they'll do, but you always knows it'll be good. Variety is their middle name. Good reaction, Papa D!
Joyful, energetic perfect description. No matter how many times I hear this Home Free version it brings chills and tears. No other rendition has ever affected me this way.
What a true statement! “Groovin out to Mary Did You Know!” Adam Rupp brings such expansion to the percussion sounds. One thing I love is that I think the beat boxing helps this version cross over to more people who might not otherwise listen to a Christian song. Merry Christmas!
Home Free always finds the joy in an inspiring melody or lyric, this is a good example of that. Still a reverent delivery but with a beat and masterful vocals. Great reaction -- Merry Christmas to you!
This is my favorite version of this beautiful song 🎵. I loved the interesting sounds coming from Adam, along with Austin and Tim's amazing leads. Along with the subtle bell tones coming from the guys. 😊❤🎄🎅
Home Free always has that country flair about them, it; 's just who they are 3 of the 5 of them were raised in southern states, Texas, Georgia, and Alabama but they are unique and can add a beat, or a little something extra, along with their great harmonies which makes what they do sound amazing.
IMHO The best rendition of this hymn. The singing, harmonies & beatboxing are terrific and the crescendos! Every time I watch this, I get cold chills. No matter what they sing, they'll always sound a little country 'cuz Tim, Austin & Chance are from southeast Texas, south Georgia & Alabama, respectively. Thanks for playing this & your comments.
BPD - new sub here - love the channel bro! This is my favorite version by far of this wonderfully descriptive story of the birth of Christ. The part that sends me into a glorious round of "PRAISE", is when they sing the lines " this sleeping child you're holding is ..."The GREAT I AM!" Words can't express the emotional outpouring of praise and adoration to the "Great I AM", Jesus Christ!! Knowing what the heavenly Father did to prove His love for us in the form of that little child - I just fail miserably in understanding such love! Merry Christmas RichieC (Atl ga)
It is SO easy to forget Home Free is acapella. Adam Rupp's vocal percussion is incomparable. I love how Home Free keeps a lot of their video environments simple--allows the focus to be on the message and their incredible acapella vocals. Just amazing harmonies❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ #HomeFree #HomeFreeDoesChristmasBest
This is so beautiful. How it all starts with all the amazing voices that blend so well. Every time one has the lead, the rest sing around it so beautifully and then build it up with so many layers is awesome. Sung with so much emotion. All supported by the incredible beatboxing and bass. It really hits you with the wonderful ending, the star of Bethlehem. What a cool arrangement. Here too they have taken it to another level.
If you want to really enjoy a Christmas song - try their version of Do You Hear What I Hear. Best arrangement of any Christmas song - ever. Arranged by Adam Rupp. Fabulous.
Love this! It gives me goosebumps. The beatboxing is amazing. Who would think there would be beatboxing in this song?! Home Free killed it. Love it! 😍😃
I really don't care for this mansplaining song, but the sound is, as usual with HF, excellent. Adam with his baby noises, Chance holding down the bass - just all over good.

This is very beautiful! Pure, raw talent. Chance is singing bass. I still get chills every time I hear this. Love your reaction!

They did a bluesy/R&B version, and as usual Chris Rupp kills it on the beat, and how about Chance on that bass the whole song !
😮 You mean Adam, right?
Home Free always give you the unexpected.

It's the parts of the song they choose to emphasize that make it special.

I liked the one that Pentatonix did but then I heard this and this is by far my favorite!
I just love these very talented home town guys! 💖

They just released Christmas in L. A.
My favorite version of this was an early Pentatonix one in the Bronson Caves in L.A. when they still had Avi.
I love this version and would rank it up with Voctaves version with original co-writer Mark Lowry!

Go check out Voctave's version. Even better.
