    He is #1 in the world and has trained the most, the hardest and the smartest out of anyone. Super talented but also worked hard since he was a little kid, obsessed with getting better.

      это генетические подарки от природы и только потом епашилово
      именно поэтому худощавый Неймар в 15 уже играл в команде мужиков, а условный трудяга Иван Иванов, как и тысячи остальных, иногда попдает в основу НФЛ

    I remember in the NHL combine he not look that impressive I believe he could not do a single pull up. But then again comparing with college football is not fair. The football players are like 23 when do combine. How old was Mcdavid at his combine?

    • @unclejake1476
      @unclejake1476 Рік тому +6

      He was an 18 year old kid. Same goes for most of the “generational”players from Gretzky to upcoming player Connor Bedard. They were all twigs coming into the league.
      Hockey is a skill sport so they don’t focus on gaining wait, muscle mass the same way football players do and to do so while maintaining the need for speed on the ice they have different diets.

      Ya I agree, plus, I believe strength training in general is more pervasive in football than in hockey. Not that they do t do it in hockey, just that they don’t do it nearly as much as for football - a thing that I think could stand to change a little.

    • @thecount1001
      @thecount1001 Рік тому +1

      @@16marner they do plenty of strength training. but they aren't training for mass and size. they are training to maximize power to weight ratio. CM could add 10 pounds of muscle to his upper body in the off season, but that would not make him faster, shoot harder or score more. so he doesn't.
