I grew up 1950's. I was a tomboy and my sister was "peticoat frilly" . I like cars, horses and she liked barbie. I only wore a skirt/dress and maryjane shoes for school or church and otherwise it was pants, sneakers and short hair. I never thought I was a boy. I just like some toys and things boys got to do. I got married, widowed, married again and worked in a print sign shop and enjoyed the work but I was the only female in the shop. My sister worked in an office. We women have a variety of tastes, styles, interests, talents, looks, personalities etc... BUT, we all are biological women. Let kids dress, play with toys, friends, experiment etc... and let them grow up with love and acceptance and when they are an adult they will figure our who they are on their own.

This issue with inclusiveness is it's creating a sense of entitlement. Also, the point about not minding if one group bans the word woman, well that's weird. So you'd be okay with them not acknowledging someone's pronoun as a woman and calling your some other "gender", but it's not okay to call them a man? The great irony of this inclusiveness it's that now you have segregated groups everywhere. So who's preferences take priority? What I think this partly is is that I think there's an obsession with being progressive to where everything before is obsolete. As if somehow distancing oneself from the past titles disassociates you from past ignorance. Like somehow associating yourself with the past associates you with ignorance. Pronouns in of themselves are not inclusive of showing respect. It's like if someone says "Okay, Einstien". Context and inflection is also a factor as well. Obviously saying "You're a sh*thead" in a positive way doesn't make it good. What I am saying is titles themselves aren't being respectful but acknowledging someone else is not less of a human being than you and treating them fairly. Also, inclusiveness seems like the buzzword now. Being inclusive doesn't mean agreeing on everything. You can not agree with someone's pronoun but still want them to be a part of the group and you welcome their presence. Like my family and extended family don't agree on everything, but we still come together as a family and don't push each other away.

35 years ago when I was a child I felt very different than other girls and to this day at nearly 40 I still dress like a “boy” as they call it and I am masculine in the way I think and behave. The difference is I don’t want to change my gender/sex. I just don’t want to be a girly girl and never have been, long before there was internet so what do they have to say about that? Where do people like me fit in? Internet and today’s society never had anything to do with it. I have behaved and dressed consistently masculine for 35 years but, I never change that. So there’s never a time I dress feminine. I don’t consider myself transgender or gender fluid but I do feel I’m not quite “woman” according to standard society rules.
Biologically there are two genders - male and female. Both sexes have estrogen and testosterone but at differing levels. As you were born with a uterus, you're a female. The problem was never the bodies we we're born with but societal limitations - girls wear pink and play with dolls, and enjoy more nurturing-type games; boys like blue and play with trucks, guns, and are into construction/destruction. Human beings are complicated creatures and should be allowed to be themselves - so long as they're not hurting others or themselves in the process. I hope that those who question their differences find a peace which enables them to live in their bodies. Stop complicating things by inventing 107 genders. Although, as an almost 70 year-old, I joke that my increasing testosterone levels sadly means I could grow a better beard than my nephew, I could never be mistaken for a man. It's obvious to anyone with half a brain that those with full beards are males regardless of what they may wish to call themselves.

My question is if I am to presume that the average trans/queer person is truly confident in their decision to come out and have a different gender identity then male or female... If a person constantly seeks external affirmation for a decision they have made, their behavior shows that that they lack confidence in their own decisions to come out as trans or queer. This next statement maybe controversial, but society needs people to be brave amidst the culture war going on. I agree that children can get panicked to pick a different gender, maybe because of what they've seen on social media. But it's important to represent those that are actually legitimate. I think it's more the way that these things are told to kids that's the issue, as social media can paint things too colourful and attractive as if it's cool. I hope one day these debates will lead to better education around it, instead of being resistant to it in hopes it goes away.
An attempt was made to make the words "woman" / "women" obsolete the minute someone created an alternative word and made rules that those words had to be used instead. Woman/women does not need to be inclusive. It's a debate that isn't necessary. When someone said "women" 20 years ago - I knew what it meant. What I think this partly is is that I think there's an obsession with being progressive to where everything before is obsolete. As if somehow distancing oneself from the past titles disassociates you from past ignorance. Like somehow associating yourself with the past associates you with ignorance.
Pronouns in of themselves are not inclusive of showing respect. It's like if someone says "Okay, Einstien". Context and inflection is also a factor as well. Obviously saying "You're a sh*thead" in a positive way doesn't make it good. What I am saying is titles themselves aren't being respectful but acknowledging someone else is not less of a human being than you and treating them fairly.
Also, inclusiveness seems like the buzzword now. Being inclusive doesn't mean agreeing on everything. You can not agree with someone's pronoun but still want them to be a part of the group and you welcome their presence. Like my family and extended family don't agree on everything, but we still come together as a family and don't push each other away.

The individual concerned knows nothing about me, but presumed the right to gaslight me because they consider unrestrained use of the word 'she' to be offensive. 35 years ago when I was a child I felt very different than other girls and to this day at nearly 40 I still dress like a “boy” as they call it and I am masculine in the way I think and behave. The difference is I don’t want to change my gender/sex. I just don’t want to be a girly girl and never have been, long before there was internet so what do they have to say about that? Where do people like me fit in? Internet and today’s society never had anything to do with it. I have behaved and dressed consistently masculine for 35 years but, I never change that. So there’s never a time I dress feminine. I don’t consider myself transgender or gender fluid but I do feel I’m not quite “woman” according to standard society rules.

The problem was never the bodies we we're born with but societal limitations - girls wear pink and play with dolls, and enjoy more nurturing-type games; boys like blue and play with trucks, guns, and are into construction/destruction.
Human beings are complicated creatures and should be allowed to be themselves - so long as they're not hurting others or themselves in the process.
I hope that those who question their differences find a peace which enables them to live in their bodies.

The person on this show who identifies as a trans woman once said on television to a Christian doctor who lost his job that, "you can have your beliefs but don't push them into other people." This isn't a direct quote but it is accurate in reflecting what was said. Looking at what the trans/queer ideology activists are doing today... They are forcing their ideology onto society and onto our children. We have trans/queer activist teachers turning their classrooms from a place of learning into their political platform. School is a place where maths, reading, writing, history, and critical thinking skills should be taught. Classrooms should not become a place of indoctrination. There are some people in today's society that call what trans/queer activist teachers are doing in schools grooming. I do support an adult's right to determine what their gender identity is. I support the premise that a trans or queer person should get all of rights and privileges that a man or woman get in society. What I don't support is trans/queer activists pushing their ideology onto society as whole and onto our children.
My question is if I am to presume that the average trans/queer person is truly confident in their decision to come out and have a different gender identity then male or female... Why do they need all of society to affirm them? Why are some activists forcing people to use their preferred pronouns? This is external affirmation. If a person constantly seeks external affirmation for a decision they have made, their behavior shows that that they lack confidence in their own decisions to come out as trans or queer. My statement is basic psychology 101 subject matter. (I'm old enough to have attended college when professors actually taught knowledge and allowed free exchange of ideas and agreeing to disagree).
This next statement maybe controversial, but society needs people to be brave amidst the culture war going on. It is not my responsibility nor the responsibility of other people to affirm one or more individuals who decide to believe the trans/queer ideology and come out as one of the 100+ gender identities. Trans/queer people are using their right to pick an alternative gender identity other then male or female and pick their preferred pronouns. I am exercising my right to not agree with the trans/queer ideology and not to use a person's preferred pronouns. This is not being hateful. It is not being a bigot.
I propose that people who disagree on an ideology agree to disagree. This is how a free society with freedom of speech and free exchange of ideas functions. I agree that children can get panicked to pick a different gender, maybe because of what they've seen on social media. But it's important to represent those that are actually legitimate. I think it's more the way that these things are told to kids that's the issue, as social media can paint things too colourful and attractive as if it's cool. An attempt was made to make the words "woman" / "women" obsolete the minute someone created an alternative word and made rules that those words had to be used instead. Woman/women does not need to be inclusive. It's a debate that isn't necessary. When someone said "women" 20 years ago - I knew what it meant. Now its meaning is too vague and it doesn't mean anything now. By removing the word woman and changing it - they are also erasing themselves if they identify as transwomen because it doesn't mean anything for them either. They identified as women - so they are doing themselves a disservice by making it include men and making it mean whatever any person wants it to mean.
