      Take a look at J. T O'Sullivan's QB School on UA-cam as well. While he wasn't a high profile QB like Warner, he still was in the NFL and has insight that most people will never have on things.

    People really underrate Rodgers' football IQ and decision making because of his "wow" throws.

      His ability to juggle multiple stressors and still make the right decisions and the amazing throws is second to none.

    TIL I've been watching football like a dumb dumb. So cool to hear an expert break out what's going on and get a glimpse of all the depth to this game I don't understand.

    Thanks, Kurt. This really helps us to appreciate the intricacies of what's happening out there. There is so much going on in that play at 8:15 that the average viewer just will not pick up on, but of course you do. I gotta add this, just having found your channel... you're a great QB in your own right, but you've made this a better world by being such an inspiration to others. Your character and perseverance reminds me of another 27yo rookie who was my hero growing up, Roger Staubach. I know there are thousands of people out here today who have become better people because of your example, and we as a society have benefited from that.

    I must say Aaron even knows how to properly slide. Watch the week 17 game vs Vikings. He ran and slid feet first, head duct down to avoid an unnecessary hit to his head. Very smart. Small details indeed.

    Rogers is getting the ball out so fast this year and it's not because his receivers are so much faster or the QB is throwing them open, it's that the receivers Rodgers goes to most often run good routes and he trust them to be where they're suppose to be down the field. This is why you'll see him so upset with young players who don't run the right routes.

    The touchdown Davantae had where the two bears players crash into each other after the catch isn’t that a switch route concept not a wheel?

    • @kurtwarnerqbc
      @kurtwarnerqbc  3 роки тому +12

      What do u mean?? Not sure what a switch route concept means? A lot of ppl run a Post-Corner/out combination… here they ran same concept just had DA wheel off of it! Not exactly what I would call a “wheel” route that is more at Line of Scrimmage… but this adjustment is a wheel adjustment! Not sure why that matters… but hope that gives u more explanation!

      @@kurtwarnerqbc I don't remember if it was Rodgers, Davante, or Lafleur who said this, but when they talked about it in their press conference they called the concept a scissors route concept

      @@kurtwarnerqbc first of all big fan. My thoughts on a switch route concept is the outside receiver does a Deep post down the middle of the field. The slot receiver(Adams) does a out route and goes vertical hugging the sideline idk You’re the expert and I’m just a fan that’s a student of the game aspiring for a job in a sport I love thanks for the reply it means a lot. • @SanguineMalcontent
      @SanguineMalcontent 3 роки тому +2

      No, no one does more than Aaron Rodgers before the snap, there's a reason he's notorious for bleeding the clock before every snap.

    • @youtubegm3227
      @youtubegm3227 2 роки тому

      he's the best at drawing players offsides ever, and he makes the best presnap reads ever. his postsnap adjustments just get more attention because it's flashier due to the plays being already in progress.

    What makes Rodgers a perennial MVP? It's a regular season award.

      The Packers are 12-8 in the post season with a Super Bowl win.
      Rodgers has a post season passer rating over 100 which makes him 4th all time.
      For his career, Brady has averaged a top 7 D in points allowed and had 8 seasons with a top 5 D. Rodgers has had a D that averaged 16th in points allowed and had 1 season with a top 5.
      Give Rodgers a D that good and he would have more rings than Brady.

    • @Relayer6a
      @Relayer6a 2 роки тому

      @Akbar Shabazz-Jenkins I'm the one trying to make a point. I said the MVP is a regular season award which is why Rodgers wins it. He's 11-9, 1 game above .500 in the playoffs. Meanwhile Brady is 34-11 (.755 win %).
      Everyone blamed the coach for not going for it on 4th down last year. And while I think he should have, even if they went for it odds are they fail on 4th down. Just like they did on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. That was a massive choke job by Rodgers.

    • @Relayer6a
      @Relayer6a 2 роки тому

      @@ihcterra4625 Woulda coulda shoulda. There is no reason to believe anyone would have more rings than Brady because nobody else is even close. Brady goes to the SB on average every other year. He has done it with more different players than anyone else. You gotta give him his dues or it just looks foolish.

    • @ihcterra4625
      @ihcterra4625 2 роки тому +1

      @@Relayer6a that doesn't account for how he gets there. The D deserves the credit.
      It is a team sport. No player wins a single game without a team.
      Teams win, QBs play. Rodgers plays better than Brady. With as good of a team as Brady, Rodgers would win more than Brady.

    Rogers and Manning great stats during regular season and great commercials but playoffs leaves a lot to desire. I haven,t seen their level of competition bring the team up. Remember the teams are better in playoffs. Stats are for losers in playoffs.
