I have come to hate the concept "pocket passer" because most of the media says the words as if a team has something 'lesser" with a quarterback like Tom or Peyton. Or looking at the young guys, Mac Jones, Justin Herbert. Pocket passing is an art and should be presented with a dignity similar to the art of war.

And right now Tom Brady number one PFF last week. Aron Rodgers is a pocket passer. Now that Brady's knee is fixed he has started running for a few first downs and doing bootlegs but that still a pocket passer in primary role. Despite the love of the running QB as it more flashy the Pocket is were the greats play.

Even the most athletic qb in the league is a pocket passer, not a scrambling passer.

Every defense against the Bucs have played and will play their best knowing they're playing against the GOAT, despite this fact, Brady is still getting it done. Proof he is on another level different from other QB.

Brady has played ONE good defense this year- the Rams- and lost.
Tampa has leeched off a weak schedule and bad defenses.

Has Brady ever played on a crappy team??
      Lol
With a good line any decent quarterback will look good.
More time equals recievers coming open.
Every HOF quarterback would equal or surpass his stats if every year in their career they had a top 5 line.
And didn't get hit like the rules Brady plays under.
Anyone name a team that has had a offensive line that played as good as what bradys played on for as long?
      Yea

Kurt is exactly right, on that interception, coach BA also said AB ran the wrong route. Sometimes he will alter his route based on coverages he sees but on that play Brady was not seeing the same thing. Watching it live, I thought Brady's thumb injury affected the throw. It's amazing that Kurt knew what they were trying to do even though he doesn't see their playbook.

The great QB's that scramble is a great attribute, but overtime injury and a lessoning of effectiveness will come into play, pocket QB's to me are the true leader and general of the field over time. That's why the guys running around don't have the presence of the pocket like somebody like brady has, the pocket itself is a chess game of the mind, not just how fast you can do something, the big thing is toughness also, like Brady will take any hit coming, most QB' s after getting pummeled will get paranoid, to do it even after taking a beating from week to week is the true test, that's why they'll never be a brady again, as great as him yes, but not the time and success he's had.

I think it's a product of bringing a college system that designed to take in a new QB every 2-4 year and a QB trying to play in it for an additional 6 or more years.
College and NFL are two totally different games. In college most of the talent isn't very good so it's basically out run the slow guys and throw it to the side Open WR who's gonna be drafted in the Top10.

Think he'll still be God level?

When he was getting dumped against giants in superbowls, didn't look God level to me. But believe the hype.

Keep it simple that is the purpose of this great breakdown and the way of the quarterback Tom Brady, the position is the hardest to play in sports, hero ball makes it even harder, it helps to know what a pocket quarterback is seeing and where a play is going, in real-time, there is a lot of action

Very Good content Kurt! It’s nice to go inside the minds of great QBs like you on what they are really looking at and how they process information on the snap. Making the game simple in this complicated game that is football. I hope you make videos on play calling. The actual verbiage and terminologies that teams use. I know that one play call has 10-15 words in it. That would be cool if you explain to us mortals what goes into one play call and show to us on video great QBs of today execute that play.

Concerning the plays, I would really love if you could explain all the mechanics of a play at the scrimmage line, like why the QB is lifting one leg, why the center points one or more players, what is really happening in the audible phase on offense and defence...

At 13:20 what was the key he missed on the wide-open Godwin? He was on AB from the moment the ball was snapped and that influenced the safety - even a no-look throw to the goalpost probably would have been a touchdown there.

There are 2 eagles defenders underneath, and two middle of the field safeties on top of Godwin staring at Tom on that play 😉 One just left of the left hash, and the other just into screen in the end zone. Meanwhile AB is one on one if Brady had gotten the ball there on time

    *GAME WAS FAKE*
    Video Title:
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Philadelphia Eagles Highlights HD | Week 6 NFL October 14, 2021
    By Uploader NFL 2021 Highlights
2:16 Very phony TD pass where Eagle #90 anticipate's Tom's pass and breaks toward it for a possible interception. Then #90 just stops and lets the ball go by him to allow the scripted TD! This is why defenders are not supposed to use anticipation against Tom. By breaking toward the pass #90 has to ruin the verisimilitude, allowing fans to see that he didn't really want to make a play.
Eagles appeared weak, disinterested and played soft zone-coverage throughout the drive. (And NO they weren't fatigued haha. It was the opening drive)!
When defenses are allowing scoring drives you can see the obvious difference: They appear slow, weak, stupid and as if they barely even care.
2:40 It looks so unnatural for Kerrigan to stop himself, as we see on this angle.
5:25 Bucs seem to allow an opening scoring drive as well. Buc #35 seems to be drunk or somehow totally unaware that he's participating in a football game! He shows a complete lack of interest in looking back for the ball haha! Absurdly ignoring the receiver's head - which had been turned back to see the incoming pass for a really long time! #35 then commits totally unnecessary interference on a poorly thrown pass that he could easily have intercepted.
Absurd performance like this may be normal in the NFL, but not because defenders are incapable of looking back for the incoming passes...It happens a lot because defenses often have to follow secret handicapping rules that make the game more high scoring and entertaining for the viewers.
It's almost impossible to prevent deep pass completions when you ignore the incoming pass, creating more big plays to entertain the crowd.
5:47 As if to confirm that this is an allowed scoring drive, the Bucs seem to show no interest in covering this guy that caught a game-winning pass in a super bowl (Ertz). How could the Bucs have ever suspected that he might run toward the end zone and attempt to catch a pass?
Both the quarterbacks in this game are extremely bad so a lot of really obvious, fake stuff is gonna need to happen for either of them to score.
6:19 Bruh! If this really worked they would do it all the time, would they not? Obviously coverage defenders understand how to stick to a receiver when they actually want to do so.
7:44 Prevent defense with no anticipation looks pretty sad! This is not real football...just the incredibly fake way they let a scrub like Tom move the chains for his 'easy-mode' 1st downs. The announcer is basically explaining that the game is phony if you listen to him haha.
At 7:53 Aikman is literally describing the Eagle defense as a practice drill for Tom to easily practice his passing routes. 🤣
Bruh! Just listen to some of these announcers and they are telling us it's not real if you just listen haha!
8:12 Another obviously allowed play where Eagles do not bother to cover Tom's RB. It's not that they are fooled...they just don't seem to mind allowing uncovered receivers to make fair-catches for easy 1st downs. Eagles fans ought to head for the exits by now! Why wouldn't they demand real effort by the team's defensive unit?
Video Title: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Philadelphia Eagles Highlights 2nd-Qtr | Week 6 NFL October 14, 2021
    By Uploader NFL 2021 Highlights
1:32 Eagle #58 fools Tom Brady and drops into a coverage that Tom throws right into! But #58 refuses to intercept or deflect a ball right in front of his face! Very normal scene in Tom's games...almost always defenders are suddenly incompetent and fail to react to his passes, allowing them to sail right past their faces or just over their head.
2:28 Buc defender is allowed to use anticipation on a screen pass! This *can never happen* when Tom Brady throws his screen passes. But here we can see how capable any defender is when they aren't disallowed to anticipate what's coming.
2:46 Look at the Buc pursue the quarterback! Again, this _does not happen_ to Tom Brady. Then pursuit is *sloooow* as if the field is made of mashed potatoes haha.
4:05 Right edge rusher #96 hurls himself to the ground! This actually happens a lot. One way a defender can avoid pressuring Tom is to suddenly eat the turf! Haha do you really think any football player can not stay upright for the first 1 second of a play?
5:08 Oh my! The exact SAME BUC who was following the rule of handicapping himself on a previous drive by not looking back for the incoming pass now does the opposite: He immediately turns his head as soon as the receiver does so...he runs to the ball and intercepts! (no haha, he didn't slow down by turning his head, did he? what a bunch of horse-shit that is!)
So.... _what?_ Did this guy just now LEARN how to play defensive back *before our very eyes?* OF COURSE NOT! He's a pro. He already knew how to look back for incoming passes. But this time he was *not told to let the other team score!*
5:28 _whaaaaat?_ First #96 seems to want to avoid hitting Tom or grabbing his throwing arm...allowing the fake quarterback time to release by taking those familiar, choppy steps toward the QB. But even more suspicious is Eagle #28...Tom's duck is easily interceptable by this safety yet he _doesn't even see_ this pass? How? What could possibly have caused him to turn his back on the play, here? It's another of the endless examples of Tom's ducks going ignored by the defensive secondary.🦆😵
This safety is taking the rule about never looking for the football to an _insane_ new level! Bruhh!
5:40 More absurd non-coverage to allow the earth's easiest pass completions for Tom! Fans *don't even boo* at this crazy behavior?
6:27 The same Eagle (#52) who made no attempt to cover the Buc TE at 5:40 now makes no attempt to make the first tackle on Fournette! Using the 'noodle-arm' tactic he allows Fournette to easily escape. First tackles _almost always_ fail so that Tom's crappy little dinks can make yards after the catch.
Even the second tackle effort by Eagle #3 is extremely phony, is it not? This guy slow-jogs toward Fournette and then just slides down on his butt!
Bruh! _This is NOT_ professional football haha! More like professional wrestling with helmets on!
6:57 How many times could a pro-defense be fooled on a single drive by these screen-passes haha? Eagles again show no anticipation of a screen.
In a real football game, screens are almost always snuffed for no gain because they're easy to anticipate and converge on. They _really_ have to come as a surprise to work. There's absolutely no way you can run 3 on one drive and they all work for 10 yards or more haahh!
7:12 Really? REALLLY? We got _another screen pass?_ By now in a real game this pass is *going back for a pick-6* haha! Yet it actually gains a modest 3 yards!
7:29 Haha! This pass is also going back for a pick-6 with even *the slightest* anticipation by either of two Eagles. But, of course, the two pretend defenders simply allow Godwin (#14) to come to a gradual stop, casually turn around and then wait forever for Tom's pass to arrive before reacting at all!
Even Tom would know not to throw this pass if the game wasn't rigged. (At least...I HOPE he's not stupid enough to throw this in a real game.)

Video Title: Dumb Decisions: The WORST Six Seconds Ever
      By Uploader: Official JaguarGator9
      *TELEVISED FOOTBALL IS SCRIPTED (EXPLAINED)*
      COLLEGE PLAY
4:47 This is a rigged, phony play. Note that all 11 Michigan State players are lined up to block. How could they ignore _the uncovered wideout at the top of the screen?_ This indicates that Michigan State _knew_ the punter would intentionally drop the ball. Things such as this are done deliberately to show us that football is fake/scripted.
      49ERS/BENGALS
The Bengals intentionally allowed the 49ers to win the game as well. Obviously no head coach is capable of mismanaging the situation to such an extent. Nor is any quarterback.
3:03 Watch how the Bengals intentionally leave the 49er unblocked! THREE Bengals ignore #75 and allow him to make the very quick 'tackle'.
Also, Bengal #21 just goes down! He's also following a script to get down quickly to save time for the 49ers.
It's not even a tackle just Brooks hitting the turf, voluntarily.
3:18 Watch Bengal #73...he's offsides by a mile! This is done to provide *insurance* in case the pass is incomplete.
The refs can flag the play and give the 49ers a 2nd opportunity to make the script work.
Notice that #73 runs way too far behind Montana...he's clearing the pocket so Joe can throw easily.
This is also true of the two Bengals rushing from the right side. They make it easy for Joe to throw the pass.
As the pass arrives to Jerry Rice, watch Bengal #22...he appears frozen! He is waiting for Rice to catch the ball before taking any action! His action is also illogical: He does not try to reach up and poke the ball out of Rice's hands, keeping his arms down and only mildly grabbing at Jerry's left thigh. He does not time a hit on Rice or do anything to disrupt the catch.
Further proof that this was a scripted outcome is that the 49ers also behaved illogically when they punted to the Bengals in a situation that dictated they go for it on 4th down. This indicated that the 49ers KNEW the Bengals would give them the ball back, according to the script.
Even further proof is the Bengals leaving Rice covered only by a single player with no Safety back.
Video Title: Bengals' Lewis Billups drops interception in 1988 SuperBowl
I can explain why he dropped it. It's the way they create legendary players (Babyfaces) like Montana and Brady.
The team playing against a 'Babyface' has to keep the score close. In this case it was 13-6 in favor of the Bengals. So the Bengals had to let the 49ers score the next TD. The score always has to be close enough for the Babyface to win in the 4th.
This is why players like Brady or Montana never fall far behind in a game. The opponent has to stop scoring until the Babyface can catch up. Billups dropped it on purpose so that the 49ers could score on that drive.

      @johnellizz 3 роки тому

@@Rock-ry1qq You are soooo naive! There's a reason you and I don't know who the high school national champion is in football...we simply don't care.🥱
_Why_ don't we care? Because football, like all sports, isn't really spectator friendly.😴💤
🐌 Real sports are pretty boring and can be slow, have lots of blow-outs and feature unattractive and loathsome players who happen to be good at the sport.🤮
Real sports have a ceiling, therefore, in terms of their *mass-appeal.* This is why wrestling is not televised with any ratings bonanza.
But PRO WRESTLING _does_ create mass appeal. Pro Wrestling is entertainment pretending to be a sport. 🕺✨
Other sports leagues also realized that this ceiling existed and decided to create an entertaining alternative to the real sport.
The NFL is a prime example.
Once the sport is scripted/pretended, you can create a _far more appealing_ spectacle with exciting games that go down to the wire much more frequently.😮
✨😎✨Also, you can 'cast' the star players - choosing the *most attractive and personable* athletes to succeed. This creates a far more marketable product.
🍿The sports that get transformed into an 'entertainment-first' concept are the ones making billions.💰
Today the NFL generates 15 billion, annually. NFL games were 34 of the 35 most-watched TV shows.
Perhaps more significantly, over 100 billion is gambled on NFL games each season at licensed sports books.
TOM BRADY: ULTIMATE SPORTS ENTERTAINER 🏆🥳
To put Tom's success in perspective, a rookie QB beginning their career would need to go *undefeated (16-0) for fourteen consecutive seasons* - not to equal Tom's win total, but just to pull within 10 victories of it.
🕹 Tom's winning way is obviously not possible in a real sport.
I studied the way they rig games for Tom...
      HOW ARE GAMES SCRIPTED? 🎬
Games are not scripted play-by-play. It's more like series-by-series. Players are informed of which drives they should allow the other team to score.
On these drives, you can notice the difference: The defenders seem sluggish...almost half-drunk.
🦥 They just seem to move slower, react slower, can't tackle well, can't cover.
Offenses will avoid scoring if it makes the game a blow-out.
This is why Tom Brady almost _never falls behind_ in a game....
Tom may try as many times as he needs to take the lead. He may fail, repeatedly, but this will never result in him falling further behind.
🍩 The opponent offense will match his fails...avoiding scoring until Tom manages to do so.
This is usually managed by the opponent quarterback and by the Refs...
The quarterback will become incompetent...never releasing the ball in time and taking sacks.
Or he will throw the ball directly to a defender.
↩ Refs will assess a holding penalty on the offense to create a 20-yard distance to the first down mark. This almost always ends a drive.
🚫 FG kickers will miss even easy kicks to avoid expanding the lead.
🎲 Over many seasons, this builds up a statistical anomaly:
The Patriots benefited from missed FG kicks more than any other team _by far._
NFL kickers miss no more than 20% of their kicks...yet they miss an astonishing *24% of the time* against the Patriots.
(stat compiled over 19 seasons from 2000-2019.)
🧸 Defense will play very soft to allow Tom to sustain his drives. They won't apply pressure or collapse Tom's pocket.
They will often stay 10-yards off Tom's receivers to allow an 'easy-mode' type of offense for Tom.
If Tom should throw an interceptable pass, the defender will try to drop it.
(Tom is immune to deep interceptions because the defense isn't allowed to look back for his pass.)
🙄 As every fan knows, ultimately, Tom will succeed _no matter what._
If they have to, they will script a 'fall-down' play...A defender will fall down in coverage allowing an instant TD to give Tom the victory.
If Tom should face a 4th down do-or-die, a defender will intentionally grab a receiver so that the Refs can award Tom an automatic first down.
(This tactic can also used on 3rd downs.)
So it's basically impossible for Tom not to win games scripted for him to win.
🌹 Tom is very handsome and quite personable - _the perfect, marketable sports star._
This is why he's allowed to win so many games.
      TOM'S ACTUALLY PRETTY BAD 💩
Tom is actually at the level of an NFL *back-up quarterback.*
Tom is average at short-range passing, below average at mid-range, and poor at deep passing.
🥵Tom cannot make plays under pressure - especially pressure from up the middle.
He sometimes fails to score even when the defense is _trying to let him score._ 🦨
      TOM'S MAGNETIC APPEAL 🧲 🏈
Tom never loses a game because of bad FG kicking. Has Tom made _a deal with Satan?_ 👺 Haha, not exactly...
Tom's kicker NEVER misses because of magnets. Special 'kicking balls' are used for FG attempts.
They have magnets that allow kicks to be guided in for a make, when activated.
To support this claim, Tom's Patriot kicker, Gostkowski, made *60 of 62* FG attempts (97%) for Tom in the 4th quarter or overtime from 2006-2013.
This is absolutely impossible without magnets.
NFL kickers make FGs at a rate between 80%-86%.
No way a kicker could achieve a 97% accuracy rate without magnets.😕
Tom's new kicker, Succoup, made 37 of 40 FG attempts for Tom last year (92.5%).
Magnets in the poles and in the ball can guide a ball _toward the center_ of the goalposts.🎯

@@johnellizz Way too many people involved to be possible for scripting, humans are horrible at keeping secrets and huge money would be made by lawyers if they could prove scripting not to mention prosecutors making reputations prosecuting.
So Refs cheating has happened will happen again in the world of sports way too much money invested in gambling. A few players getting paid to lose way less likely considering modern money but possible but it's no going to be a huge conspiracy with thousands of people involved.

Just more proof Tom Brady is a big time cheater. He’s only throwing to the guy who isn’t being covered. Anybody could do that.

He's a good Quarterback but people give him too much credit for team success.
He needs a superteam to be good. Those guys go down so does his game and that night against saints proved it. He's overrated when he has average players around him.
