I think when it said that you shouldn't care what others think, it's more so talking about listening to your heart and intuition and following your goals and dreams. There's a lot of people that aren't going to agree with what you're doing and if they say hey I don't like that I disapprove of it, but it's your calling, are you just going to stop?....no! At least you shouldn't because now you're letting others dictate your feelings your motives and what drives you. It's human nature to want people to like you. But not at the cost of what you feel is best for you. For instance, most of society will frown upon someone that quits their 9 to 5 job with a six-figure salary because they're miserable.... but now they are doing something that they love... you have to do you
