Those amps has serious power.i currently have the cvrd2002 playing a pair Of 18 sound 18lw2500. That amp pushes those speakers like nothing.works great for a bass amp.
@30:10 Good video.......but I have ran high output amplifiers on scoops and void double 18" for 8years, with knobs turned fully up. I have no problems or issues from this and never had clipping. There's some useful information but the really useful information such as: true outpower, current draw at 1/8 power, current draw at clipping, slew rate, amperage requirements, and alike will let the viewer know the real story with this amp.
It's a damn good thing it doesn't have 1/4" inputs. If you accidentally plugged or unplugged a 1/4" connection while this amp is on, the thump would very likely kill your speakers. Surprised you tested it on mids rather than subs.
Thanks for watching. For video purposes mids was the best to hear on video especially if not using good headphones and the easiest for me to access at the moment without it being in the rack. 👍🏾
Good evening Mr DJ Shaw. This amp seems very nice and I like it. Tell me what you think about "The Loud Factory" or (TLF) brand amplifiers? They have the fp10000q etc.
Hello, the brand's such as the fp 10000q I'm guessing your referring to the lab clones they are decent play very well. There is a few different companies in China selling just make sure you choose a reputable one. Thanks for watching.
Do you think it could be because you are playing from the 15 amp/120 and not the 30 amp/220 why signal lights or showing at half way? I plan to use 30 amp/220 with this amp and see how it handles @ 2 ohm. Anyway it plays the tops real clean just an orchestra!! We have the iNukse12000s playing tops and looking to use these CVR for Bass. Can’t wait to finish this project. Thanks again fam. Your sound is playing real good trust me.
Hey I appreciate the compliment thanks 👍🏾, yeah i thought about the power situation as u mentioned yes 30amp at 220v would be a much better response i think as well. Keep me posted on that. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for this review love these amps hear them play clean and the bass line is great . How do you compare it to the Qscmx3000 T hats what I use to play bass on my system now . My friend tell me to get the 2002 or 3002 model. My bass line will improve more , is that so . What's the idea with the different colours .
Hey thanks for watching i appreciate it, glad to hear your interested in the cvr there really good amplifiers lots of power you won't be disappointed switching just make sure your speakers are up for the challenge compared to the qsc which is also a great amplifier really reliable and holds value so don't get rid of it if you do get the cvr. Any advise on this amp in the video? When using the amplifier for a while and it gets warm .....the amplifier start to electric shock. Is there anyway to fix this issue?
I just picked up one of these except it’s the new version. Once powered up it makes a constant rhythmic buzzing noise. It’s not crazy loud and not a problem but I’m not sure if it’s normal or not. I’m curious if it was the same thing with your amp?
Hey, good buy👍🏾. Yes mine does alittle buzz when first powered up for a second but not while idling. All those capacitors its like a old tv ppwering up especially if you don't use it for afew weeks. Otherwise its good. Just make sure your outlet is grounded and getting enough voltage/amperage. Thanks for watching.
@@Djshaw1kinglegend it’s not the power buzz when the capacitors are charging. It’s after that and it doesn’t stop. Bzz…bzz…bzz. It’s a pretty much a buzz per second. But if you don’t have it then it’s probably a defect.
@@horaciofromearth4794 the manufacturer told me it was normal. Same exact sound on my 2nd one so I figured it was fine. Can only hear it if I put my ear right up to it.
They are all pretty much the same build quality it really boils down to if u want to say your amplifier is 20,000 watts or 15,000 watts lol. Cvr company claims to have a more stable power supply so I'll just say that. Thanks for watching
Some years ago when these Chinese amplifiers started getting popular, CvR told me that they were the most stable 1u switchiable voltage power amplifier. With that said i just just supported cvr more but Admark has proved to be just as reliable now and i like them as well just haven't gotten around to buying one because they introduce new models too often it seems you will never have the most powerful model dealing with them for that i don't like company's that mass produce amplifiers like new cell phones. 👍🏽🔊✅️
I tried this not a good idea, the amps will cut out and suddenly turn back in without warning. If you have the gain turned up you will fry all your speakers. And I mean all!
That thinking noise is normal with the cvr amps. It's just the way the cvr power circuitry operates. Please don't miss inform people to thinking they have a bad unit. That is exactly how a cvr is supposed to operate. Cheers.
Nice review..but I dont think it will suit to the of more Filipino sound system enthusiast, we like of more hard kick bass paired in our inclosed boxes like the MCV..
There a new for channel cvr 3004 don't see nose dp at all why the company not displaying it the dp if the amplifer does not show this what are they hiding that shows the bass tone strength it plays warmer but not louder
The cvr hiding the noise dp it does not show the amount the admark ad42 say it noise dp is 110 which say it has a great bass tone upthere with gruppon and crown its a cheaper copy on the powersoft 20k I think it's better than the k20 for the price that's why they stop making power soft k20 besides the admark ad42 are powerful
But why would anybody want to toss any amplifier anywhere? Amplifiers, particularly power amplifiers like firearms are precision instruments. No matter how tough or how rugged they are, you ought not to be tossing them around.
I'm sure the CVR's are great, however, I dislike the gains/pots. Before I Discovered your channel, I bought a Tulun Play M50D from the bay. It's not as powerful but suits me fine as home gear. Plus I like the gains/lights. exact copy of power soft M50q. Maybe when they revise this amp i may buy one. I was looking at the CVR D-1004
