Bro you did it I wanted to by this amp from China and I wasent sure now I am going to get the two and four chanel I am from Trinidad and carnival is just around the corner thanks man.
I had 8 of those CVR amps they are easy to say the best amplifiers i ever owned . I replaced an entire rack of crown 2402s with those amps.
They sound great they dont break a sweat and they are easy on power requirements. Im italian but inwound up buying Chinese amps fromCVR AND ILL DO IT AGAIN. Cvr was easy to buy from and the shipping was very fast..... ill buy more soon
All well and good. What draws me to Powersoft and LGruppen is being able to get spares after years. My issue with some Asian manufacturers is that they often discontinue both product lines and spare parts once sales die down. The products themselves may be durable but one faulty generator at a show takes out a rack and it's all in the bin forcing you to get new equipment.
Durability is one thing, after sales support is equally important. Crown also has the same problem esp 1st gen itech which should still be supported but no spare parts🤷🏽♂️
More capacitors doesn't mean more capacitance. How they're wired and their values makes a huge difference - not to mention quality. 56 caps sounds like lower values in parallel- which is much cheaper in terms of components. The same with the power supply 6 caps+2 inductors vs. 20 caps (at least) and 3 inductors. The Powersoft also has 2 large inductors in the rear vs. 4 cheaper. The two large turbine fans have been swapped for 4 cheap 20mms. I can't see the PCBs from the video but it's painfully obvious that you're dealing with two drastically differences in build quality and robustness. The CVR is thousands cheaper because of the major corners they cut.
Great video! Have you done a bench test on the CVR? I'm curious if their advertised numbers are accurate of their true output.
They actually put out more power than rated

Turn off your notifications! bro. CVR looks ok, why not put the caps closer to the speakers. Perhaps better if they had a few more caps on the psu though. Problem is getting cooling to the correct parts. Hot caps will fail sooner.
Does this amplifier deliver the rated power or is the power rating wishful right before the amp blows up? How much current will this amp draw on 120 volts or 220? What about the rest of the need to know specs?
My friend changed from qsc mx3000 to the cvr D3002 and his bass line moves to a next level. I can hardly stand infront of the boxex .

Nice video man very clear. Was just wondering what power the cvr take. The k20 notably has a 32amp feed powercon. Can the cvr realistically take this given that no amp with get 7000 a channel from 13amp 240 UK or other specificed ratings. Cheers

How does Admark compare? And are the AliEx Admark the same / as good as the Ones direct from the company?
Great amp , but before using the 3002 make sure you boxes and speakers are good and can take drive .
With a switching power supply capacitor doesn’t store power for the amp the switching power supply generates enough power to supply the amp the capacitor just filters the voltage.

Also "Slew Rate" has nothing to do with the PFC of a SMPSU. I am sure you may well be a competent tech. But your command of terminology is very lacking. Slew Rate I suggest you look it up

Any feedback on the Admark….especially the K35?
Most of the labs failed due to operators not understanding they are a load strategy unit. They need corrct use. Just loading them at 2R Without using the correct settings is the issue

CVR do not manufacture these amps... cvr cannot even give you sinewave test results of their amps. it's made by a chinese company who is making class D amplifiers for a very long time where class AB and Class H is still very popular in Alibaba

So many clones coming out now similar to cvr design it's unbelievable. Sinbossen is a good company as well they did pretty well with there clones so there cvr look alike might be ok as well but cvr has perfected there amplifier so i don't think they will lose there ratings to sinbossen or any of the other clones. Wich volt is better to play whit 110 volt or 220
220v less current draw more stable for the amplifier which then provides better power.

Hello, really appreciated the video and comparison. Are you still seeing these amps to be reliable after some time has passed? I'm looking to pull the trigger on and FP14k or CVR 3002 but have heard sinbosen is a bit iffy on reliability. Currently running an inuke 6k but my harbottles M18s are hungry for about twice what the 6k can feed them. Curious if you still recommend them?

Ryan Ramjattan your current supply is not enough, the amp used a lot of current. You have to have stable current at 220 voltage, I know one sound owner had the same problem you are having and he is running his cvr with a 40kva generator and that solve the problem.

My pet peeve is people just counting capacitors instead of very easily working out the total capacitance, because that's as uninformative as saying how many bottles of milk you bought when I want to know how much actual milk you have; not mentioning their temperature ratings comes a close second as that really impacts longevity in many conditions.

Cvr has more power good for playing more subwoofers than the crown. But quality I'm not sure i will doing that test on my channel in the coming months so stay tuned and don't forget to subscribe. I will be reviewing the Cvr shortly. Thanks for watching and please share the knowledge!
How do the powersoft fans even cool anything? They just blow air through the back of the vent based on how the fans are mounted and shaped or am I getting it wrong

@@warriorkingagony6035 they are the real deal no bs man. I have two D3002 & one D1004. Two of the 3002 are powering 16 21 inch woofers & man they are rocking! 6 each amp would be better if you want more headroom but they definitely can play 2 ohms good as well.

you say the inuke is inconsistent and I read reviews on it mentioning that they would stop working randomly. And the one you experimented with in your video was the nu6000. With that said.... have you seen or explored the nu12000? The reviews on the 12000 seem to be a different story. What is your experience?
Hey thanks for watching. This video was done by a technician who repairs and uses powersoft and other higher end Amplifiers so his use of the inukes is not personal its from customers. I own both nu4 6000 and the 12000 inukes ( please watch my vid on the 12000 unbox and setup) so from my experience they are both great amps, they may not stand up to certain abuse as do powersoft and crown but if you know what you are doing they will last and for the price no complaints here. Thanks again please subscribe and share the knowledge. Oh yeah 1 thing i find annoying on the 12000 is there's no speaker muting when powering down the unit so you will get that harsh turnoff.
my inuke blew up - a track from the power section blew off the PCB and shorted to the case. Literal.. BANG.
took out a chip and a few other components. end of.

a comparison made on the visual basis has no factual value, without the difference between components or circuits you do not understand anything, how many PC power supplies while being very similar inside are completely different in performance, the only way to be aware of the differences is a test bench, and I bet the differences are huge. At my house, the less you pay the less you have.

You realized that the chinese amplifier is a bad copy of powersoft, that it will never be able to live up to powersoft, that the power source in its PFC, the powersoft is superior, that the electronic components are of higher quality in powersoft , that the K series have been in operation for 17 years and that their support in technical service is incredible. Did you know that many of the components used by Chinese amplifiers, in the source and output stage, are copies of the original brands. That guarantees the durability of that Chinese equipment, of course for such an affordable price I don't think you can ask for it to have durability.
